methionine(met)is an essential and first limiting amino acid in the poultry diet that plays a significant role in chicken embryonic development and *** present study examined the effect of in ovo injection of DL-met and L-met sources and genotypes on chicken embryonic-intestinal development and *** eggs of the two genotypes,TETRA-SL layer hybrid(TSL)—commercial layer hybrid and Hungarian Partridge colored hen breed(HPC)—a native genotype,were randomly distributed into four treatments for each *** treatment groups include the following:1)control non-injected eggs(noIn);2)saline-injected(SaIn);3)DL-met injected(DLm);and 4)L-met injected(Lm).The in ovo injection was carried out on 17.5 d of embryonic development;after hatching,eight chicks per group were sacrificed,and the jejunum was extracted for *** results showed that both DLm and Lm groups had enhanced intestinal development as evidenced by increased villus width,villus height,and villus area(Pmpared to the *** DLm group had significantly reduced crypt depth,glutathione(GSH)content,glutathione S-transferase 3 alpha(GST3),occludin(OCLn)gene expression and increased villus height to crypt depth ratio in the TSL genotype than the Lm group(Pnotype has overexpressed insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF1)gene,tricellulin(mD2),occludin(OCLn),superoxide dismutase 1(SOD1),and GST3 genes than the TSL genotype(Pn conclusion,these findings showed that in ovo injection of met enhanced intestinal development,and function,with genotypes responding differently under normal *** also influenced the expression of intestinal antioxidants,tight junction,and growth-related genes.

Highly Heat-Resistant materials for microelectronics:Hydrodynamic,Optical,and Conformational Properties of Fluorine Containing Poly(Amido-ortho-Hydroxy Amide)

The polycondensation of the mixture of diamines 5,5-methylene bis(2-aminophenol) and 4,4-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)dianiline(molar ratio 0.8:0.2) with isophthaloyl dichloride was used to synthesize poly(amido-o-hydroxy amide)(POA-F)-new heat resistant binder of the composites for microelectronics. The copolymer was fractionated, its hydrodynamic, optical, and conformational properties were researched, and molecular masses(ММ) of the fractions were defined. The polydispersity index was estimated. Based on experimental data, calculation of the size of a segment of Kuhn characterizing degree of an intramolecular orientation order and value of coefficients of the equation of mark-Kuhn-Hauvink for viscometric and diffusion data were performed. It was demonstrated that introducing 20 mol % of the monomer with-CF3-groups does not lead to any changes in conformational properties of the macromolecules and does not change the degree of intramolecular orientational order(the Kuhn segment length). Optical characteristics of POA-F solutions are virtually similar to the corresponding values for POA prepared with the use of single amine-containing component-5,5-methylene bis(2-aminophenol). The received mm distribution for POA-F(prepolymer) provided the solubility of its films in alkaline solutions. The heat resistance(τ5 and τ10-temperatures corresponding to 5% and of 10% PBO-F mass loss of a polymer) of the powders and the films of PBO, PBO-F were determined. The electrophysical parameters-dielectric permittivity(ε) and dielectric loss tangent(tan δ) of the PBO-F films decreased down to 3.30 and 0.017, in comparison 3.40 and 0.025 for PBO respectively.

To pursue VnIIEF–VnIITF joint investigations,this paper briefly describes the experimental setup and provides numerical 3D-computation results(LEGAK-3D technique)on special features in the convergence dynamics of steel shells under their quasi-spherical explosive loading in the system with the 40-mm outer radius of the explosive *** computation results were compared with the data experimentally registered for shells of the 30KhGSA steel,both as-received and quenched to HRC 35...40,and the austenitic 12Kh18n10T stainless *** comparison was also made with laserinterferometry results obtained directly under explosive loading,as well as with gammatomography and scanning electron microscopy investigations of the recovered shells.

To evaluate the antinociceptive and anti-inflammatory activities and the toxic effects of Rlhipicephalus microplus saliva for elucidating the modulation mechanism between arthropod saliva and ***:For saliva collection,engorged ticks were obtained from a controlled bovine infestation and collected by natural *** ticks were fixed and injected pilocarpine 0.2%for induction of *** was collected,lyophilized and stored at-80℃.Cytotoxic activity was assessed by the hemolysis method(25,50,100,200 and 300μg/mL)and mTT cell viability assay(2.5,5,10,20 and 40μg/mL)for 24,48 and 72 ***-inflammatory activity was evaluated using the method of neutrophil migration to the peritoneal cavity of mice at doses of l0,15 and 20 mg/kg;antinociceptive activity was assessed using the acetic acid-induced writhing test,and formalin-induced paw-licking in mice at dose of 15 mg/***:Saliva did not cause erythrocytes hemolysis at any concentration tested,as well as did not decrease cell viability in the mTT *** inhibited neutrophil migration by 87%and 73%at doses of l5 and 20 mg/kg,*** the nociceptive tests,saliva presented analgesic activity of69.96%in the abdominal writhing test,and of 84.41%in the formalin *** study proves that Rlhipiceplhalus microplus saliva has significant in vivo anti-inflammatory and antinociceptive *** data presented herein support the development of further studies to elucidate the active principles of Rhipicephalus microplus saliva and its mechanism of action and,in future,to develop novel anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs.

Ethyl and butyl acetate oxidation over manganese oxides

BACKGROUnD Faecal immunochemical test(FIT)has been recommended to assess symptomatic patients for colorectal cancer(CRC)***,some conditions could theoretically favour blood originating in proximal areas of the gastrointestinal tract passing through the colon unmetabolized.A positive FIT result could be related to other gastrointestinal cancers(GIC).AIm To assess the risk of GIC detection and related death in FIT-positive symptomatic patients(threshold 10μg Hb/g faeces)without *** Post hoc cohort analysis performed within two prospective diagnostic test studies evaluating the diagnostic accuracy of different FIT analytical systems for CRC and significant colonic lesion *** patients with gastrointestinal symptoms referred consecutively for colonoscopy from primary and secondary healthcare,underwent a quantitative FIT before undergoing a complete *** without CRC were divided into two groups(positive and negative FIT)using the threshold of 10μg Hb/g of faeces and data from follow-up were retrieved from electronic medical records of the public hospitals involved in the *** determined the cumulative risk of GIC,CRC and upper *** rate(HR)was calculated adjusted by age,sex and presence of significant colonic *** we included 2709 patients without CRC and a complete baseline colonoscopy,730(26.9%)with FIT≥10μgr Hb/*** a mean time of 45.5±20.0 mo,a GIC was detected in 57(2.1%)patients:An upper GIC in 35(1.3%)and a CRC in 14(0.5%).Thirty-six patients(1.3%)died due to GIC:22(0.8%)due to an upper GIC and 9(0.3%)due to ***-positive subjects showed a higher CRC risk(HR 3.8,95%CI:1.2-11.9)with no differences in GIC(HR 1.5,95%CI:0.8-2.7)or upper GIC risk(HR 1.0,95%CI:0.5-2.2).Patients with a positive FIT had only an increased risk of CRC-related death(HR 10.8,95%CI:2.1-57.1)and GIC-related death(HR 2.2,95%CI:1.1-4.3),with no differences in upper GIC-related death(HR 1.4,95%CI:0.6-3.3).An

High-density mapping suggests cytoplasmic male sterility with two restorer genes in almond×peach progenies

Peach(Prunus persica)and almond(Prunus dulcis)are two sexually compatible species that produce fertile ***,a highly polymorphic species,is a potential source of new genes for peach that has a strongly eroded gene *** we describe the genetics of a male sterile phenotype that segregated in two almond(‘Texas’)×peach(‘Earlygold’)progenies:an F2(T×E)and a backcross one(T1E)to the‘Earlygold’***-density maps were developed using a 9k peach SnP chip and 135 simple-sequence *** highly syntenic and collinear maps were obtained:one for the F2(T×E)and two for the backcross,T1E(for the hybrid)and E(for‘Earlygold’).A major reduction of recombination was observed in the interspecific maps(T×E and T1E)compared to the intraspecific parent(E).The E map also had extensive monomorphic genomic regions suggesting the presence of large DnA fragments identical by *** data for the male sterility character were consistent with the existence of cytoplasmic male sterility,where individuals having the almond cytoplasm required the almond allele in at least one of two independent restorer genes,Rf1 and Rf2,to be *** restorer genes were located in a 3.4 mbp fragment of linkage group 2(Rf1)and 1.4 mbp of linkage group 6(Rf2).Both fragments contained several genes coding for pentatricopeptide proteins,demonstrated to be responsible for restoring fertility in other *** implications of these results for using almond as a source of novel variability in peach are discussed.
