The env.sag.d desig. and dev.lopme nt of indiv.dual mate rials to excav.te a broader spectrum of desired properties and offer multiple applications are hig.ly *** this in mind,a series of forsterite-structured Mg.g.O4:Eu3+（1 mol%-9 mol%） nanophosphors was synthesized v.a a solution combustion method using.oxalyl dihydrazide as a *** X-ray diffraction patterns confirm the orthorhombic crystal system with a Puma space *** results clearly show irreg.larly shaped cluster-like structures with ag.reg.tion of the *** diffuse reflectance spectra,the optical energ. band g.p of the Mg.g.O4:Eu3+（1 mol%-9 mol%） nanophosphors was estimated and obtained to be～4.12-4.32 *** photoluminescence emission spectra exhibit intense peaks at ～579,589,610,661,and 707 nm,which are due to characteristic5D0→7F0,5D0→7F1,5Do→7F2,5D0→7F3and5D0→7F4transitions of Eu3+ions,*** Commission International de L'Eclairag. color coordinates are g.adually tuned from pale red（0.5980,0.4012） to a pure red（0.6385,0.3611） *** g.ow peaks showcase excellent super-linear response at low doses of γ-irradiations,indicating.that the prepared phosphor can be used in thermoluminescent personal dosimetry which is a biolog.cal tissue *** aforementioned results demonstrate that the prepared Mg.g.O4:Eu3+（1 mol%-9 mol%） nanophosphors are considered an excellent candidate for dual applications,i.e.,red component in future g.neration white-lig.t-emitting.diodes（WLEDs） and personal dosimetric applications.

Rilmenidine prev.nts blood pressure increase in rats with compromised nitric oxide production

AIM: To search tools of hig. blood pressure in the model of nitric oxide (NO)-defectiv. hypertension, and the study focused on the effect of rilmenidine, ag.nist of imidazoline receptors, which was sug.ested to modulate central sympathetic outflow. METHODS: Three experimental g.oups, each consisting.of 7 rats, were used: (I) rats with inhibition of NO synthase (NOS) by Ng.nitro-L-arg.nine methyl ester (L-NAME) 40 mg.kg.1·d-1 for 4 weeks in drinking.water, (II) rats with inhibited NOS as in g.oup I , plus ag.nist of imidazoline receptors rilmenidine 3 mg.kg.1·d-1 for 4weeks by g.v.g., and(III) control rats. Systolic blood pressure wasmeasured weekly noninv.siv.ly. At the end of experiment aortic ring.isometric tension was followed, NOS expression (aorta, left v.ntricle), and NOS activ.ty (left v.ntricle and brain) were determined. RESULTS: In the g.oup I systolic blood pressure in- creased sig.ificantly, aortic ring.relaxation to acetylcholine was sig.ificantly attenuated. Rilmenidine administered simultaneously with L-NAME (g.oup II) prev.nted the increase of blood pressure which did not differ sig.ificantly from control v.lues; aortic ring.relaxation to acetylcholine did not differ from control. No chang. in NOS expres- sion (aorta and left v.ntricle) was found in g.oups I and II. Sig.ificant decline in NOS activ.ty (left v.ntricle and brain) wasfound in g.oups I and II. CONCLUSION: Rilmenidinehas aremarkable role inNO-defectiv. hypertension, possibly by inhibiting.central sympathetic outflow and by affecting.receptors in v.scular smooth muscle also. The prime cause of hypertension in this experimental model - the compromised production of NO due to inhibition of NOS - was not affected by rilmenidine.

A Dual Effect of Au-Nanoparticles on Nucleic Acid Cholesteric Liquid-Crystalline Particles

Au-nanoparticles (size about 2 nm, but not 5 or 15 nm) are capable of effectiv.ly incorporating.into quasinematic layers of particles of cholesteric liquid-crystalline dispersion formed by double-stranded nucleic acid molecules of v.rious families (DNA and poly(I)xpoly(C)). This Au-size-dependent process is accompanied by a decrease in amplitudes of abnormal bands in the CD spectra specific to initial cholesteric liquid-crystalline dispersions and simultaneously by an appearance of plasmon resonance band in v.sible absorption spectrum. The study of properties of particles of cholesteric liquid-crystalline dispersion treated with Au-nanoparticles by means of v.rious physico-chemical methods demonstrates that incorporation of Au-nanoparticles into quasinematic layers of these particles results in two effects: i) it facilitates reorg.nization of the spatial cholesteric structure of particles, and ii) it induces the formation of Au-clusters in the content of particles. It is not excluded that these effects represent a possible reason for g.notoxicity of Au-nanopar- ticles.

The polycondensation of the mixture of diamines 5,5-methylene bis(2-aminophenol) and 4,4-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)dianiline(molar ratio 0.8:0.2) with isophthaloyl dichloride was used to synthesize poly(amido-o-hydroxy amide)(POA-F)-new heat resistant binder of the composites for microelectronics. The copolymer was fractionated, its hydrodynamic, optical, and conformational properties were researched, and molecular masses(ММ) of the fractions were defined. The polydispersity index was estimated. Based on experimental data, calculation of the size of a seg.ent of Kuhn characterizing.deg.ee of an intramolecular orientation order and v.lue of coefficients of the equation of Mark-Kuhn-Hauv.nk for v.scometric and diffusion data were performed. It was demonstrated that introducing.20 mol % of the monomer with-CF3-g.oups does not lead to any chang.s in conformational properties of the macromolecules and does not chang. the deg.ee of intramolecular orientational order(the Kuhn seg.ent leng.h). Optical characteristics of POA-F solutions are v.rtually similar to the corresponding.v.lues for POA prepared with the use of sing.e amine-containing.component-5,5-methylene bis(2-aminophenol). The receiv.d MM distribution for POA-F(prepolymer) prov.ded the solubility of its films in alkaline solutions. The heat resistance(τ5 and τ10-temperatures corresponding.to 5% and of 10% PBO-F mass loss of a polymer) of the powders and the films of PBO, PBO-F were determined. The electrophysical parameters-dielectric permittiv.ty(ε) and dielectric loss tang.nt(tan δ) of the PBO-F films decreased down to 3.30 and 0.017, in comparison 3.40 and 0.025 for PBO respectiv.ly.

Study of Decoherence on the Teleportation Alg.rithm in a Chain of Three Nuclear Spins System

We make a numerical study of decoherence on the teleportation alg.rithm implemented in a linear chain of three nuclear spins system. We study different types of env.ronments, and we determine the associated decoherence time as a function of the dissipativ. parameter. We found that the dissipation parameter to g.t a well defined quantum g.tes (without sig.ificant decoherence) must be within the rang. of γ≤4×10-4 for not thermalized case, which was determined by using.the purity parameter calculated at the end of the alg.rithm. For the thermalized case the decoherence is stablished for v.ry small dissipation parameter, making.almost not possible to implement this alg.rithm for not zero temperature.

The Darwin instability effect in the binary systems(di-planets, di-stars, and di-g.laxies) is analyzed within the model based on the Reg.e-like laws. All possible binary stars are found satisfying.the Darwin instability condition that requires to search for other mechanism trig.ering.the merg.r of the contact binary objects. New analytical formulas are obtained for the orbital rotation period and the relativ. distance between components of the binary system. The decreasing.and increasing.periods as functions of mass asymmetry are related, respectiv.ly, with the non-ov.rlapping.and ov.rlapping.stag. of the binary object ev.11}ution.

In this article,the authors consider a class of Kukles planar polynomial differential system of deg.ee three hav.ng.an inv.riant *** this class of second-order differential systems,it is shown that for certain v.lues of the parameters the inv.riant parabola coexists with a *** other v.lues it can coexist with one,two or three small amplitude limit cycles which are constructed by Hopf *** result g.v.s an answer for the question g.v.n in[4],about the existence of limit cycles for such class of system.
