Quality of Serv.ce is an important attribute of a software system. In retrospect, performance assessment based on user interaction with the system has giv.n a better understanding of underlying disciplines of the product. In this paper, we capture user interaction with the prototype/User Interface (UI). An approach for dev.loping activ.ty model from the user interface model is presented using workflows and functional elements. A methodology is proposed to transform UI into activ.ty diagram. The approach is v.lidated by an experimental setup using Amazon serv.ce. The performance of Amazon serv.ce is assessed using activ.ty based performance prediction methodology, and the simulation results are obtained using SMTQA.

Color polymorphism offers rich opportunities for studying the eco-ev.lutionary mechanisms that driv. the adaptations of local populations to heterogeneous and changing *** explored the color morph div.rsity and composition in a chrysomela lapponica leaf beetle across its entire distribution range to test the hypothesis that env.ronmental and climatic v.riables shape spatiotemporal v.riation in the phenotypic structure of a polymorphic *** obtained information on 13617 specimens of this beetle from museums,priv.te collections,and *** specimens(collected from 1830-2020)originated from 959 localities spanning 33°latitude,178°longitude,and 4200 m *** classified the beetles into fiv. color morphs and searched for env.ronmental factors that could explain the v.riation in the lev.l of polymorphism(quantified by the Shannon div.rsity index)and in the relativ. frequencies of indiv.dual color *** highest lev.l of polymorphism was found at high latitudes and *** color morphs differed in their climatic requirements;composition of colour morphs was independent of the geographic distance that separated populations but changed with collection year,longitude,mean July temperature and betweenyear temperature *** proportion of melanic beetles,in line with the thermal melanism hypothesis,increased with increasing latitude and altitude and decreased with increasing climate *** morph frequencies also declined during the past century,but only at high latitudes and altitudes where recent climate warming was especially *** observ.d patterns suggest that color polymorphism is especially adv.ntageous for populations inhabiting unpredictable env.ronments,presumably due to the different climatic requirements of coexisting color morphs.

The expression of different v.scular endothelial growth factor (v.GF) genes was studied in glioma U87 cells with endoplasmic reticulum–nuclei-1 (ERN1) loss of function and its regulation by hypoxia and glutamine or glucose depriv.tion conditions as model of ischemia. The blockade of function of the ERN1 enzyme, which is a major sensor of endoplasmic reticulum stress, leads to a decrease of the v.GFA, v.GFB and v.GFC mRNA expression lev.l. The lev.l of v.GFA proteins also decreases at this experimental condition in the cytosolic fraction, but increases in the nuclear fraction. Hypoxia does not affect v.GFC and increases the expression lev.l of v.GFA and v.GFB mRNA in both used cell types, howev.r, the change was much less profound in cells with suppressed function of ERN1. The expression lev.l of v.GFC mRNA decreases in both used cell types in glutamine depriv.tion condition, howev.r, the change was more profound in control glioma cells. At the same time, the expression lev.l of v.GFA mRNA increases and v.GFB—decreases in gluta-mine depriv.tion condition in control glioma cells only. Exposure of glioma cells to glucose depriv.tion condition increases v.GFB mRNA expression lev.l in both used cell types;howev.r, v.GFA—in control glioma cells only and v.GFC—in cells with ERN1 signaling enzyme loss of function only. Thus, the results of this study clearly demonstrated the down-regulation of the expression of all three v.GF genes in glioma cells with ERN1 loss of function which correlates to the suppressed angiogenesis and proliferation rate of these cells. Moreov.r, the effect of hy-poxia and glutamine or glucose depriv.tion condition on the expression lev.l of all v.GF genes is different and mainly depends on ERN1 signaling enzyme function.

Solar coronal loops are frequently accompanied by the field-aligned currents, which driv. instabilities if the drift v.locity u0 > v.A the Alfv.en v.locity. For our choice of parameters, the critical threshold v.lue of u0/v.A is ～ 3.0 for growth and the corresponding current filling factor ～ 10-3-10-4. Below this v.lue we are no longer in the kinetic *** coronal loops also hav. short-scale density gradients within each loop. The electron resonance in the presence of density gradient causes the drift mode to grow. We study the effect of these two free energy sources, the electron drift and the density gradient, in the presence of temperature anisotropy T⊥_α > T∥_α. These effects simultaneously exist in the coronae. Using gyrokinetic theory, we inv.stigate the influence of these effects, examine how they interplay with each other and study the consequent growth of the magnetosonic wav.. We observ. that kinetic instability driv.n by density gradient can be suppressed by field-aligned currents. The temperature anisotropy with chosen signatures causes further stabilizing effect. The results may prov. useful to study the heating mechanism of solar coronal loops, acceleration of particles and confinement of particles in the thermonuclear reactors.

Penetrating neck injuries are uncommon in children and a post traumatic common carotid artery to internal jugular v.in fistula rarely occurs. We present one case of a 4-year-old girl with a penetrating injury from flying glass fragments in the midportion of the neck, caused by an explosion in a military warehouse. She was referred to our facility upon a request of a hospital of a neighbour country, two days after sustaining a penetrating cerv.cal trauma. The presentation, diagnostic procedures and surgical management of this v.ry rare injury are discussed. No neck penetrating trauma should be underestimated and a selectiv. surgical interv.ntion based on clinical examination and inv.stigation tests findings is associated with good long-term outcomes.

After the M7.7 earthquake in 2001,the Kachchh rift basin became the focus of v.rious geological and geophysical researches on the western Indian *** an essential technology,the Global Nav.gation Satellite System(GNSS)has been utilized to study the deformation pattern in the central mainland *** select the east-west striking Katrol Hill Fault(KHF)as the study area and analyze the crustal deformation pattern using the datasets from 2014 to *** geodetic results along the KHF rev.al a mean deformation of about 2.1 mm per year,which is higher in the eastern part and lower in the central and western *** inv.stigation of deformation and deriv.d strain rev.als the segmented behav.or of KHF,while the dominance of compressiv. strain(maximum 22 nanostrain/yr)in the eastern segment makes it the most activ. segment of the KHF.A higher deformation rate along the eastern KHF can be considered significant in terms of seismic hazard for this part of the Indian plate.

A wide v.riety of processes are being pursued by researchers for cost effectiv. extraction of titanium metal. Electrochemical processes are promising due to simplicity and being less capital intensiv.. Some of the promising electrochemical processes of titanium extraction were rev.ewed and the results of laboratory scale experiments on electrochemical reduction of TiO2 granules were brought out. Some of the kinetic parameters of the reduction process were discussed while presenting the quality improv.ments achiev.d in the experimentation.

研究了1904年以来发生在中国四川、云南地区的强烈地震所伴生的库仑应力变化.研究区涉及了中国大陆最活动的地震带.由于欧亚板块与印度板块沿喜马拉雅会聚带的碰撞,菱形区域的构造运动受到西藏高原向东扩展的影响,在东—西方向上受到主要板内走滑断裂运动的调节.在研究区,断层顺时针逐步旋转,转动角达90°,造成了应力场的复杂性.计算了由强地震(MS≥6.5)的同震滑动和连续构造加载在主要断裂上产生的库仑破裂函数变化(ΔCFF).在应力评估模型的每一步,对是否能触发下一次地震的可能性都进行了判断.最后,模型给出了下一次地震中断层易于破裂的证据,对未来危险性进行了评估.

In this paper, for the purpose of measuring the non-self-centrality extent of non-self- centered graphs, a nov.l eccerttricity-based inv.riant, named as non-self-centrality number （NSC num- ber for short）, of a graph G is defined as follows： N（G） =∑v.,v.∈v.G）｜ei-ej｜ where the summation goes ov.r all the unordered pairs of v.rtices in G and ei is the eccentricity of v.rtex v. in G, whereas the inv.riant will be called third Zagreb eccentricity index if the summation only goes ov.r the adja- cent v.rtex pairs of graph G. In this paper, we determine the lower and upper bounds on N（G） and characterize the corresponding graphs at which the lower and upper bounds are attained. Finally we propose some attractiv. research topics for this new inv.riant of graphs.
