Differential and total cross sections of the γp→π0p and the γd→π0pn reaction were measured for photon energies between 640 and 1 150 MeV. the data have been compared with SAID and MAID model calculations. π0 photoproduction on the deuteron shows a strong suppression of the 2nd resonance which is clearly seen in the γp→π0p reaction.

在大多数高速发动机中,曲轴系统会成为最危险的激振源之一。由于曲轴具有较大的动能和弹性势能,并直接承受脉冲激振力,因而通常会产生较大的发动机结构振动和噪声。然而,所有的激振力仅通过曲轴主轴承从旋转的曲轴系统传到发动机结构体。为了研究曲轴系统与发动机结构之间的相互激振的影响,以及曲轴振动与发动机结构噪声之间的相关性,对以下三种现象进行了测量:曲轴三维振动特性;每个曲轴主轴承的振动特性;发动机1m处结构噪声。将不同工况下同时获得的这些测量结果与计算结果作了比较。用两种柴油机(直列4缸机和直列6缸机)和一种汽油机(V形6缸机)进行了试验和分析。

Atypical lipomatous tumor in the ligamentum teres of liver:A case report and review of the literature

A 61-year-old male was referred to our hospital with a three-month history of persistent epigastralgia and right hypochondralgia. Initial examination revealed a fist-size mass at the epigastric fossa. Ultrasonography showed a hemangioma and a mosaic echoic lesion in the ventromedian with poor blood-flow signal and linear hyperechoic part inside, and a clear border to the surroundings. Dynamic computed tomography revealed a highly enhanced effect from the portal-venous phase continuing to the equilibrium phase. t1-weighted gadolinium-ethoxybenzyl-diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid-enhanced image revealed a high intensity effect at the early phase that continued to the next phase. On the other hand, it contained a low intensity area by a fat suppression of that image. In addition, a t2-weighted image did not show a high intensity effect. Laparotomy was performed on the second day of hospitalization. the tumor had arisen from the ligamentum teres of the liver, and no metastasis or invasion of other organs was noted. It consisted of a lipid component of mature adipocytes and a fibrous component of deep dyeing pleomorphic or multinuclear atypical stromal cells. Immunohistochemical study of the atypical stromal cells demonstrated that they were positive for MDM2 and CDK4. A pathological diagnosis of atypical lipomatous tumor(ALt) was made, and the patient was discharged on the eighth day following the procedure. At the 6-mo follow-up dynamic Ct, the patient was free of recurrence or metastasis. We experienced a patient with ALt in the ligamentum teres of the liver. this case suggests the need for a careful and detailed examination when encountering patients presenting with a mass; when neoplastic lesion is confirmed by image inspection, we should thoroughly investigate, including further image investigations and pathologic examination. the latter is the most important.

Castleman's disease(CD) is an uncommon benign lymphoproliferative disorder of unknown etiology. A rare case of cervical CD diagnosed at lymph node dissection for esophageal carcinoma is reported. An esophageal tumor was identified in a 67-year-old man during a follow-up examination after surgery for oral carcinoma. Esophagoscopy revealed a type 1 tumor in the cervical esophagus. histology of esophagoscopic biopsies indicated squamous cell carcinoma. Contrastenhanced computed tomography revealed swollen lymph nodes of the right cervical region. No distant metastasis was detected. Esophageal carcinoma, t2N2M0, Stage ⅢA was diagnosed. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy was recommended, but the patient rejected the chemotherapy. the patient underwent laparoscopic-assisted transhiatal esophagectomy. the histopathological diagnosis was moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma with pt1bN0M0, Stage ⅠA. On histology, the swollen lymph nodes of the right cervical region revealed CD. the patient's postoperative course was relatively good.

Aim:Definitive chemoradiotherapy(dCRt)is the standard treatment for locally advanced unresectable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(LU-ESCC).this study aimed to describe the results of dCRt for t4 ESCC and evaluate the pretherapeutic predictive factors of the ***:A total of 133 patients with t4 ESCC who received dCRt were grouped into those who achieved a complete response(CR)or those who had residual disease(RD).the clinicopathologic variables were compared between the groups and the overall survival(OS)was *** predictive factor of RD was assessed and the prognostic factor for OS was ***:Among the 133 patients,31(23%)achieved *** CR group had a significantly better OS than the RD group(89.9 months vs.10.7 months;hazard ratio=0.096;95%confidence interval:0.05-0.19;Ptivariate analysis showed that a supracarinal tumor(OR=3.21;P=0.016),higher pretherapeutic serum SCC-Ag level(>1.6 ng/mL)(OR=2.86;P=0.018),and metastatic node invasion(OR=3.19;P=0.048)were independent predictors of *** increased level of pretherapeutic serum squamous cell carcinoma antigen(>1.6 ng/mL)(OR=1.61;P=0.022)was an independent predictor of poor ***:Among the patients who underwent dCRt for LU-ESCC,23%achieved CR,and the long-term outcome of these patients was *** levels of pretherapeutic serum squamous cell carcinoma antigen were also found to be predictive of treatment failure.

Background: the comparative outcomes of subcutaneous implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (S-ICD) and transvenous (t-ICD) have not been well studied. the aim of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of currently available S-ICD and t-ICD. Methods: the study included 86 patients who received an S-ICD and 1:1 matched to those who received single-chamber t-ICD by gender, age, diagnosis, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), and implant year. the clinical outcomes and implant complications were compared between the two groups. Results: the mean age of the 172 patients was 45 years, and 129 (75%) were male. the most common cardiac condition was hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (hCM, 37.8%). the mean LVEF was 50%. At a mean follow-up of 23 months, the appropriate and inappropriate ICD therapy rate were 1.2% vs. 4.7%(X^2= 1.854, P=0.368) and 9.3% vs. 3.5%(X^2 = 2.428, P = 0.211) in S-ICD and t-ICD groups respectively. there were no significant differences in device-related major and minor complications between the two groups (7.0% vs. 3.5%, X^2 = 1.055, P = 0.496). the S-ICD group had higher t-wave oversensing than t-ICD group (9.3% vs. 0%, X^2 = 8.390, P=0.007). Sixty-five patients had hCM (32 in S-ICD and 33 in t-ICD). the incidence of major complications was not significantly different between the two groups. Conclusions: the efficacy of an S-ICD is comparable to that of t-ICD, especially in a dominantly hCM patient population. the S-ICD is assodated with fewer major complications demanding reoperation.
