Although a variety of regimens are available for the treatment of atopic dermatitis（AD）, severe adverse reactions and unpopular costs often limit their usage. In contrast, certain inexpensive, naturally-occurring ingredients are proven effective for AD with fewer side effects. The beneficial effects of these ingredients can be attributed to inhibition of cytokine and chemokine expression, IgE production, inflammatory cell infiltration, histamine release, and/or the enhancement of epidermal permeability barrier function. Since herbal medicines are widely available, inexpensive and generally safe, they could be valuable alternatives for the treatment of AD, particularly for those patients who are not suitable for the utilization of immune modulators. In this review, we summarize the therapeutic benefits of natural ingredients for the treatment of AD and the mechanisms of their actions.

We study the coherence transfer between two pigments (donor and acceptor) of a dimer interacting with two independent environments. By means of a prior weak measurement on the donor and a post measurement, which is either a reversal measurement or a weak measurement, on the acceptor, we present a scheme to optimally control the transfer of the donor's coherence to the acceptor. We construct explicit relationships for the two measurement strengths and the evolution time, by which the coherence degree of the acceptor can approach the maximum value 0.5 at the cost of a decreased probability.

We present some exact integrability cases of the extended Liénard equation y′′+ f(y)(y′)n +k(y)(y′)m + g(y)y′+ h(y) = 0, with n > 0 and m > 0 arbitrary constants, while f(y), k(y), g(y), and h(y) are arbitrary functions. The solutions are obtained by transforming the equation Liénard equation to an equivalent first kind first order Abel type equation given bydv/dy= f(y)v3-n+ k(y)v3-m+ g(y)v2+ h(y)v3, with v = 1/y′.As a first step in our study we obtain three integrability cases of the extended quadratic-cubic Liénard equation,corresponding to n = 2 and m = 3, by assuming that particular solutions of the associated Abel equation are known. Under this assumption the general solutions of the Abel and Liénard equations with coefficients satisfying some differential conditions can be obtained in an exact closed form. With the use of the Chiellini integrability condition, we show that if a particular solution of the Abel equation is known, the general solution of the extended quadratic cubic Liénard equation can be obtained by quadratures. The Chiellini integrability condition is extended to generalized Abel equations with g(y) ≡ 0 and h(y) ≡ 0, and arbitrary n and m, thus allowing to obtain the general solution of the corresponding Liénard equation. The application of the generalized Chiellini condition to the case of the reduced Riccati equation is also considered.

The present study was conducted to evaluate the effect of either individual or combined wheat bran(WB) replacement with Azolla pinnata supplemented with Digestin^(TM) in the diet of freshwater prawn, Macrobrachium rosenbergii Postlarvae(PL) on growth perfo.mance, nutrient utilization, chemical body composition and survival(%). Experimental diets were a wheat bran-soybean based diet with no Azolla and Digestin^(TM)(control, T_1), and diets containing 17% Azolla supplemented with Digestin^(TM) 0%(T_2), 1%(T_3), 2%(T_4) and 3%(T 5). Each experimental diet was allocated into three tanks(6 m^3/tank) fed for 12 wks. Each tank was subdivided into three equal pens by nets(2 m^3) and stoked with 84 PL/m^2. The experimental diets were readily consumed by prawns PLs where both high growth and good feed efficiency were achieved for all diets. The results showed that the diets containing A. pinnata supplemented with Digestin? at the level up to 3% have the higher growth and better nutrient utilization than the control diet. No differences were observed for moisture and protein content among the experimental diets. However, the highest protein content was observed on prawns fed on diets T_1 and T 5 respectively, while the lowest value was recorded for T_4 diet. The results also show that prawn PLs fed the diets contain A. pinnata and supplemented with Digestin^(TM) recorded the highest values of body lipid content compared to the control diet. Feed efficiency and economic conversion rate(ECR) values show that economic perfo.mance and the cost-effectiveness of the A. pinnata supplemented with up to 3% Digestin^(TM) recorded the highest net return, and therefore it is recommended for prawn, M. rosenbergii PL's. These results are clearly indicating that A. pinnata have a good potential for use in prawn diets at reasonable levels than other conventional diets.

AIM: To explore the effects and mechanism of action of antidepressant mirtazapine in functional dyspepsia(FD) patients with weight ***: Sixty depressive FD patients with weight loss were randomly divided into a mirtazapine group(MG), a paroxetine group(PG) or a conventional therapy group(CG) for an 8-wk clinical trial. Adverse effects and treatment response were recorded. The Nepean Dyspepsia Index-symptom(NDSI) checklist and the 17-item Hamilton Rating Scale of Depression(HAMD-17) were used to evaluate dyspepsia and depressive symptoms, respectively. The body composition analyzer was used to measure body weight and fat. Serum hormone levels were measured by ***:(1) After 2 wk of treatment, NDSI scores were significantly lower for the MG than for the PG and CG;(2) After 4 or 8 wk of treatment, HAMD-17 scores were significantly lower for the MG and PG than for the CG;(3) After 8 wk of treatment, patients in the MG experienced a weight gain of 3.58 ± 1.57 kg, which was significantly higher than that observed for patients in the PG and CG. Body fat increased by 2.77 ± 0.14kg, the body fat ratio rose by 4%, and the visceral fat area increased by 7.56 ± 2.25 cm2; and(4) For the MG, serum hormone levels of ghrelin, neuropeptide Y(NPY), motilin(MTL) and gastrin(GAS) were significantly upregulated; in contrast, those of leptin, 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) and cholecystokinin(CCK) were significantly downregulated. CoNCLUSIoN: Mirtazapine not only alleviates symptoms associated with dyspepsia and depression linked to FD in patients with weight loss but also significantly increases body weight(mainly the visceral fat in body fat). The likely mechanism of mirtazapine action is regulation of brain-gut or gastrointestinal hormone levels.

长句翻译一直是机器翻译的难题。本文根据汉语中相当数量的逗号和句号可相互转化的特点,提出“隐性句号”和“隐性逗号”概念,并实现其自动识别,以将汉语长句变为短句用于汉英机器翻译。为此,首先通过人工与半监督学习结合方法构建一个隐性句逗数据集,实现基于预训练模型的隐性句逗识别方法,其中性能最好的Hierarchical BERT作为后续应用模型。进而,实现基于隐性句逗识别的汉英机器翻译方法。在新闻和文学公开翻译测试语料上基于预训练机器翻译模型的实验表明,对于汉语长句的英译,本文方法相比基准翻译的BLEU值整体有所提高,而且在相对稳健机器翻译模型上,呈现为句子越长本文方法效果越明显。

Effect of mineral admixtures and repeated loading on chloride migration through concrete

The effect of fly ash (FA) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) on chloride migration through concrete subjected to repeated loading was examined. Portland cement was replaced by three percentages (20%, 30%, and 40%) of mineral admixtures. Five repeated loadings were applied to concrete specimens using a WHY series fully automatic testing machine. The maximum loadings were 40% and 80% of the axial cylinder compressive strength (f′c). Chloride migration through concretes was evaluated using the rapid chloride migration test and the chloride concentration in the anode chamber was measured. The results showed that the replacement percentages of mineral admixtures, the curing time and repeated loading had a significant effect on chloride migration through concrete. The transport number of chloride through concrete cured for 28 d increased with increasing FA replacement and markedly decreased with extension of the curing time. 20% and 30% GGBFS replacement decreased the transport number of chloride through concrete, but 40% GGBFS replacement increased the transport number. Five repeated loadings at 40% or 80% f′c increased the transport number of chloride for all mixes.
