In today＇s technological age someone could gain access to your online bank account through a light bulb. This is due to the Intemet of Things （ioT）. The loT has become a reality as more and more of our devices are being connected to the Internet. In fact, automated teller machines （ATMs） have been online for many years, and more recently we have had the installation of smart meters remotely connecting to the electricity grid. We now have smart watches and smart baby monitors, and there are many more examples of new loT devices.

Despite continuing advances in scientific knowledge about treatments to prevent mother-to-child(MTCT)of the human immune deficiency virus(HIV),there is a paucity of data on pregnant women’s knowledge of treatments to prevent MTCT of HIV in Aba,South Eastern *** investigated pregnant women’s knowledge of the availability of treatments to prevent MTCT of HIV in the low resourced setting of Aba town in South Eastern Nigeria.A descriptive study involving 100 consecutive and consenting patients at the antenatal clinic of Abia State University Teaching Hospital(ABSUTH),Aba,South Eastern Nigeria over the period 1st November, 2007 to 30th November,*** a structured questionnaire,the respondents’sociodemographic data were obtained as well as their knowledge of the availability of treatments to prevent mother to child HIV transmission in pregnant women and self-reported data on their having ever tested for *** regarding availability of treatment to prevent mother to child transmission of HIV was good as 95%of the respondents were aware that such treatment was *** that treatment is available to help someone infected by HIV to live longer was also good as 96% of the respondents were aware of the availability of such *** one percent of the respondents had ever tested for *** levels of knowledge regarding the availability of treatment to prevent mother to child HIV transmission and to help someone infected with HIV are ***, utilization of anti-retroviral prophylaxis amongst HIV infected pregnant women in this community would be expected to be high if the drugs were *** will reduce the impact of HIV,especially in children.

Nowadays,tandem structures have become a valuable competitor to conventional silicon solar cells,especially for perovskite over silicon,as metal halides surpassed Si with tunable bandgaps,high absorption coefficient,low deposition,and preparation *** led to a remarkable enhancement in the overall efficiency of the whole cell and its ***,this expands the usage of photovoltaic technology in various fields of applications not only under conventional light source spectrum in outdoor areas,i.e.,AM1.5G,but also under artificial light sources found indoors with broadband intensity values,such as Internet of things(io Ts)applications to name a *** introduce a numerical model to analyze perovskite/Si tandem cells(PSSTCs)using both crystalline silicon(c-Si)and hydrogenated amorphous silicon(a-Si:H)experimentally validated as base *** proposed layers have been studied with J-V characteristics and energy band diagrams under AM1.5G by using SCAPS-1D software version_(3).***,the proposed architectures were tested under various artificial lighting *** proposed structures of Li_(4)Ti_(5)o_(12)/CsPbCl_(3)/MAPbBr_(3)/CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)/Si recorded a maximum power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 25.25%for c-Si and 17.02%for a-Si:H,with nearly 7%enhancement concerning the Si bare cell in both cases.

Hematite(α-Fe_(2)o_(3))is an ideal oxide semiconductor candidate for photoelectrochemical(PEC)water *** of Fe_(2)o_(3)is known to benefit the PEC water oxidation efficiency,but despite extensive research efforts,the underlying mechanism still remains *** this work,we report a comprehensive study on the relationship between the electronic structure,interfacial reaction kinetics and PEC activity of Ti-doped Fe_(2)o_(3)*** results show that the interfacial charge transfer efficiency at the Fe_(2)o_(3)/electrolyte interface is the main factor in the significant increase of the PEC activity of doped Fe_(2)o_(3).Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy reveals that the interfacial charge transfer efficiency is determined by energy overlap between the water oxidation potential and energy distribution of an intermediate surface state that has been identified as Fe^(IV)=o groups on Fe_(2)o_(3)surface generated during PEC ***,the potential energy distribution of this intermediate surface state can be modulated by Ti doping,and a shift towards a more positive potential of the intermediate surface state increases the overlap with the water oxidation potential and thus enhances the kinetics of charge transfer for PEC water *** origin of such potential energy modulation is traced to the inductive effect from Ti-doping on the Fe^(3+)/Fe^(4+)redox transition and the Fe-o bond *** results provide new insight into the mechanism for the doping effect on the PEC water splitting,introducing new strategies to optimize the PEC activity by tuning the redox properties of active metal oxides.
