Non-Newtonian is a type of fluid that does not comply with the viscosity under the Law of Newton and is being widely used in industrial *** include those related to chemical industries,cosmetics manufacturing,pharmaceutical field,food processing,as well as oil and gas *** inability of the conventional equations of Navier–Stokes to accurately depict rheological behavior for certain fluids led to an emergence study for non-Newtonian fluids’*** line with this,a mathematical model of forced convective flow on non-Newtonian Eyring Powell fluid under temperature-dependent viscosity(TDV)circumstance is *** fluid model is embedded with the Newtonian heating(NH)boundary condition as a heating circumstance and is assumed to move over a stretching sheet acting *** appropriate similarity variables,the respective model was converted into ordinary differential equations(ODE),which was later solved utilizing the Keller box *** present model is validated by comparing the existing output in literature at certain special limiting cases,where the validation results display a firm *** current outputs for the proposed model are shown in tabular and graphical form for variation of skin friction plus Nusselt number,velocity and temperature distribution,respectively.

In Vitro-In Vivo antidiabetic effect of Pleurotus florida mycelia was evaluated using enzymes,yeast cell and in streptozotocin induced type 2 diabetic(T2D)animal *** mycelia was prepared by submerged fermentation *** fungal biomass was organically extracted using mixture of ethanol and *** extractives yield of 14.3%w/w was obtained in hydroalcoholic solvent with dielectric constant-δvalue of 78.2(EX78).*** mycelia extract(EX 78)shows higher antioxidant power with 86.87%free radical scavenging activity and with 75.29 reducing ***-vitroα-amylase inhibition,α-glucosidase inhibition and glucose uptake activity of EX 78 shows higher *** *** mycelia extract(EX 78)is also found to be effective in controlling of blood glucose and insulin level in streptozotocin-nicotinamide induced T2D *** blood glucose was reduced to 216±6.21 mg/dl from 357±0.34 mg/dl and the insulin level was increased to 0.423±0.006 ng per mL from 0.164±0.03 ng/mL in *** treated *** higher fatty acids,C20-eicosane;C24-tetracosane and C30-squalene present in *** mycelium extract was found to be effective in inhibiting human intestinalα-glucosidase and pancreaticα-*** *** mushroom is found to be effective in controlling high blood glucose elevated liver and cardiac *** of this mushroom is suitable for controlling blood glucose level in person with hyperglycaemia.

Intuitionistic fuzzy numbers incorporate the membership and non-membership *** contrast,Z-numbers consist of restriction components,with the existence of a reliability component describing the degree of certainty for the *** combination of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers and Z-numbers produce a new type of fuzzy numbers,namely intuitionistic Z-numbers(IZN).The strength of IZN is their capability of better handling the uncertainty compared to Zadeh's Z-numbers since both components of Z-numbers are charac-terized by the membership and non-membership functions,exhibiting the degree of the hesitancy of *** paper presents the application of such numbers in fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making problems.A decision-making model is proposed using the trapezoidal intuitionistic fuzzy power ordered weighted average as the aggregation function and the ranking function to rank the *** proposed model is then implemented in a supplier selection *** obtained ranking is compared to the existing models based on *** results show that the ranking order is slightly different from the existing *** analysis is performed to validate the obtained *** sensitivity analysis result shows that the best supplier is obtained using the proposed model with 80%to 100%consistency despite the drastic change of criteria *** Z-numbers play a very important role in describing the uncertainty in the decision makers’opinions in solving decision-making problems.

In this work,an Artificial Neural Network(ANN)based technique is suggested for classifying the faults which occur in hybrid power distribution ***,which is generated by the solar and wind energy-based hybrid system,is given to the grid at the Point of Common Coupling(PCC).A boost converter along with perturb and observe(P&O)algorithm is utilized in this system to obtain a constant link *** contrast,the link voltage of the wind energy conversion system(WECS)is retained with the assistance of a Proportional Integral(PI)*** grid synchronization is tainted with the assis-tance of the d-q *** the analysis of faults like islanding,line-ground,and line-line fault,the ANN is *** voltage signal is observed at the PCC,and the Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT)is employed to obtain different *** on the collected features,the ANN classifies the faults in an effi-cient *** simulation is done in MATLAB and the results are also validated through the hardware *** fault analysis is carried out and the results are compared with the existing ***,the Total harmonic distortion(THD)is lessened by 4.3%by using the proposed methodology.

Cooling is one of the major concerns in building tropical houses. This problem is exacerbated by the heat gain of the roof, which constitutes 70% of the total heat gain. The passive cooling technique is one of the innovative practices and technologies that provide buildings with comfortable conditions through natural means. Reflective and radiative processes are the methods used to decrease heat gain by facilitating the elimination of excess heat in a bui[ding＇s interior to maintain a comfortable environment. Given that the potential of these techniques vary from region to region, their application in the tropics should be examined. Exploring these approaches in detail allows us to rethink how to effectively adapt these techniques to overcome the build-up of heat in modern tropical houses in Southeast Asia. This study reviews the physical characteristics of these approaches to guide architects and building designers. Results indicate a great reduction in operational cost. However, the significant differences in the performance of colour and material properties shoutd be considered, given that the selected approach strongly affects the required thermal conditions of a building.

Accurate prediction of wind turbine power curve is essential for wind farm planning as it influences the expected power *** methods require detailed wind turbine geometry for performance evaluation,which most of the time unattainable and impractical in early stage of wind farm *** significant amount of work has been done on fitting of wind turbine power curve using parametric and non-parametric models,little to no attention has been paid for power curve modelling that relates the wind turbine design *** paper presents a novel method that employs artificial neural network to learn the underlying relationships between 6 turbine design parameters and its power curve.A total of 198 existing pitch-controlled and active stall-controlled horizontal-axis wind turbines have been used for model training and *** results showed that the method is reliable and reasonably accurate,with average R^(2)score of 0.9966.

In this paper, synthesis and anticancer activities of morpholine hydrazones scaffold（1-17） thoroughly studied. Small series of morpholine hydrazones synthesized by treating 5-morpholinothiophene-2-carbaldehyde with different aryl hydrazides to form morpholine hydrazones scaffold（1-17）. The in vitro anticancer potential of all these compounds was checked against human cancer cell lines like Hep G2（human hepatocellular liver carcinoma） and MCF-7（human breast adenocarcinoma）. Analogs 13 had similar substantial cytotoxic effects towards Hep G2 with IC_（50） value 6.31±1.03μmmol/L when compared with the standard Doxorubicin（IC_（50）value 6.00±0.80μmmol/L）; while compounds 5,8 and 9 showed potent cytotoxicity against MCF-7 with IC_（50） value 7.08±0.42μmmol/L, 1.26±0.34μmmol/L and11.22±0.22μmmol/L respectively when compared with the standard Tamoxifen（IC_（50）= 11.00±0.40μmol/L）. Molecular docking studies also performed to understand the binding interaction.

Climate change is one of the critical determinants affecting life cycles and transmission of most infectious agents,including malaria,cholera,dengue fever,hand,foot,and mouth disease(HFMD),and the recent Corona-virus *** has been associated with a growing number of outbreaks resulting in fatal complications since the late *** outbreaks may result from a combination of rapid population growth,climate change,socioeconomic changes,and other lifestyle ***,the modeling of climate variability and HFMD remains unclear,particularly in statistical theory *** statistical relationship between HFMD and climate factors has been widely studied using generalized linear and additive *** dealing with time-series data with clustered variables such as HFMD with clustered states,the independence principle of both modeling approaches may be ***,a Generalized Additive Mixed Model(GAMM)is used to investigate the relationship between HFMD and climate factors in *** model is improved by using a first-order autoregressive term and treating all Malaysian states as a random *** method is preferred as it allows states to be modeled as random effects and accounts for time series data *** findings indicate that climate variables such as rainfall and wind speed affect HFMD cases in *** risk of HFMD increased in the subsequent two weeks with rainfall below 60 mm and decreased with rainfall exceeding 60 ***,a two-week lag in wind speeds between 2 and 5 m/s reduced HFMD's *** results also show that HFMD cases rose in Malaysia during the inter-monsoon and southwest monsoon seasons but fell during the northeast *** study's outcomes can be used by public health officials and the general public to raise awareness,and thus,implement effective preventive measures.

Aircraft engine design is a complicated process,as it involves huge number of *** design process begins with parametric cycle *** is crucial to determine the optimum values of the cycle parameters that would give a robust design in the early phase of engine development,to shorten the design cycle for cost saving and man-hour *** obtain a robust solution,optimisation program is often being executed more than once,especially in Reliability Based Design Optimisations(RBDO)with Monte-Carlo Simulation(MCS)scheme for complex systems which require thousands to millions of optimisation loops to be *** paper presents a fast heuristic technique to optimise the thermodynamic cycle of two-spool separated flow turbofan engines based on energy and probability of failure criteria based on Luus-Jaakola algorithm(LJ).A computer program called Turbo Jet Engine Optimiser v2.0(TJEO-2.0)has been developed to perform the optimisation *** program is made up of inner and outer loops,where LJ is used in the outer loop to determine the design variables while parametric cycle analysis of the engine is done in the inner loop to determine the engine ***-Hypercube-Sampling(LHS)technique is used to sample the design and model variations for uncertainty *** results show that optimisation without reliability criteria may lead to high probability of failure of more than 11%on *** thrust obtained with uncertainty quantification was about 25%higher than the one without uncertainty quantification,at the expense of less than 3%of fuel *** proposed algorithm can solve the turbofan RBDO problem within 3 min.

Assessment of heavy metal contamination in the sur?cial sediments from the lower Meghna River estuary, Noakhali coast, Bangladesh

Sediment samples were collected from ten selected sites of the lower Meghna River estuary, and six heavy metals were analyzed with Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry(AAS) to assess the contamination level and the metals’ association with sediment grain size. The current results revealed that the mean concentrations of the studied metals were ranked in descending order of iron(Fe)(1.29 ? 103 mg/kg) > zinc(Zn)(42.41 mg/kg) > lead(Pb)(12.48 mg/kg) > chromium(Cr)(10.59 mg/kg) > copper(Cu)(6.22 mg/kg) > cadmium(Cd)(0.28 mg/kg). The geo-accumulation, contamination, and pollution load indexes suggested that the lower Meghna river estuary was not contaminated by Fe, Zn, Pb, Cr, and *** mean size of the sediment ranged from 28.92 to 126.2 mm, and the Pearson correlation coefficient showed a significant association between Fe and Pb(coefficient of determination, r2? 0.836; p < 0.05),and no significant correlation was found between individual metals and grain size, indicating no or low influence on the metals distribution.
