Deep knowledge of the microstructure and physicochemical properties of polymeric food systems,such as honey powders(HP)and coconut sugars(CS),has practical importance for industry and end *** study investigated the effect of polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)addition on microstructure,roughness,glass transition,α-relaxation temperatures and structural strength(S)of anhydrous complex carbohydrates *** addition of PVP slightly increased the glass transition andα-relaxation temperature for HP and CS systems as high molecular weight *** with PVP addition showed“stronger”behaviour according to the S *** light,scanning electron and atomic force microscopies showed slight differences in transparency and shapes between controls and systems with PVP *** morphological changes and roughness were investigated in this study to provide insight into HP and CS particles’structural ***,S-involved structural diagrams were built to determine S parameters for controlling the structural transformation of HP and CS systems with and without PVP *** results obtained in this work provide new information on polymer-carbohydrate interactions in complex food systems and structural transformations during their production and storage.

Plant-insect interactions are key model systems to assess how some species affect the distribution, the abundance, and the evolution of others. Tree reproductive structures represent a critical resource for many insect species, which can be likely drivers of demography, spatial distribution, and trait diversification of plants. In this review, we present the ecological implications of predispersal herbivory on tree reproductive structures by insects (PIHR) in forest ecosystems. Both insect's and tree's perspectives are addressed with an emphasis on how spatiotemporal variation and unpredictability in seed availability can shape such particular plant-animal interactions. Reproductive structure insects show strong trophic specialization and guild diversification. Insects evolved host selection and spatiotemporal dispersal strategies in response to variable and unpredictable abundance of reproductive structures in both space and time. If PIHR patterns have been well documented in numerous systems, evidences of the subsequent demographic and evolutionary impacts on tree populations are still constrained by time-scale challenges of experimenting on such long-lived organisms, and modeling approaches of tree dynamics rarely consider PIHR when including biotic interactions in their processes. We suggest that spatially explicit and mechanistic approaches of the interactions between individual tree fecundity and in sect dynamics will clarify predictions of the demogenetic implications of PIHR in tree populations. In a global change context, further experimental and theoretical contributions to the likelihood of life-cycle disruptions between plants and their specialized herbivores, and to how these changes may gen erate novel dynamic patterns in each partner of the interaction are increasingly critical.

BACKGROUND Wellen’s syndrome is a form of acute coronary syndrome associated with proximal left anterior descending artery(LAD)stenosis and characteristic electro-cardiograph(ECG)patterns in pain free *** abnormal ECG pattern is classified into type A(biphasic T waves)and type B(deeply inverted T waves),based on the T wave pattern seen in the pericodial chest *** SUMMARY We present the case of a 37-year-old male with history of type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM),gastroparesis,mild peripheral artery disease and right toe cellulitis on IV antibiotics who presented to the emergency department with nausea,vomiting and abdominal pain for 3 d and as a result couldn’t take his *** to have fasting blood sugar 392 mg/*** for diabetic *** the hospital course,the patient was asymptomatic and denied any chest *** admission,No ECG and troponin draws were *** day 2,the patient became hypoxic with oxygen saturation 80%on room air,intermittent mild right-sided chest pain which he attributed to vomiting from his *** ECG done was significant for Biphasic T wave changes in leads V2 and V3 and elevated high sensitivity *** was transitioned to cardiac intensive care unit and cardiac catheterization performed with result significant for extensive coronary artery *** This case highlights an exceptional manifestation of Wellen's syndrome,wherein the right coronary artery and circumflex artery display a remarkable 100%constriction,alongside a proximal LAD stenosis of 90%-95%.Notably,this occurrence transpired in a patient grappling with extensive complications arising from ***,it underscores the utmost significance of promptly recognizing the presence of Wellen's syndrome and swiftly initiating appropriate medical intervention.

The global sustainability plan for future development relies on solar radiation which is the main source of renewable energy. Thus, this work studies the performance of six models to estimate global solar radiation on a horizontal surface for the Abeche site in Chad. The data used in this work were collected at the General Directorate of National Meteorology of Chad. The reliability and accuracy of different models for estimating global solar radiation were validated by statistical indicators to identify the most accurate model. The results show that among all the models, the Sabbagh model has the best performance in estimating the global solar radiation. The average is 6.354 kWh/m2 with an average of -3.704%. This model is validated against NASA data which is widely used.

受到环境污染、能源供应减少、产品价格波动以及化石燃料的成本的影响,大多数国家在选择替代能源。可以独立运行的小型电力系统,即离网微电网,可以在建立基于分散的可再生能源(Renewable Energy,RE)技术的电力系统中发挥关键作用。卢旺达的能源部门近年来在一定程度上有了很大的发展,拥有包括水电、太阳能和沼气在内的自然能源,有45个发电厂,其中43.8%是并网的,19.43%%是离网的,但总体电气化率仅为68.17%,超过31%的卢旺达人无法获得电力,其中大部分人在国家电网之外。本研究论文组织如下:本研究论文首先研究了集中式太阳能(Concentrated Solar Energy,CSP)和光伏系统以促进人人享有可持续能源(Sustainable Energy for All,Se4all)的新方法。聚光太阳能技术通过使用镜子集中太阳辐射光束来发电,这些镜子聚焦在一个小区域,并集中太阳能来为导热油提供能量。CSP的生产在卢旺达仍未受到重视,尽管它已经引起了全世界的关注。本文通过优势、劣势、机会和威胁(Strengths,Weaknesses,Opportunities and Threats,SWOT)研究,对CSP和光伏系统进行技术经济分析。本章利用系统顾问模型(System Advisor Model,SAM)研究了卢旺达离网地区CSP和光伏微电网系统的技术和经济可行性。仿真计算结果显示,农村社区的离网光伏微电网系统因为它的净现值很低(Net Present Value,NPC),最具成本效益。第二,本文开发了一种具有成本效益的太阳能光伏系统发电模式,以较低的成本为卢旺达的农村家庭供电。通过开发高效、低成本的离网光伏系统,对单户和微网光伏系统进行性能比较。可再生混合优化模型(Renewable Hybrid Optimization Model,HOMER)软件被用来确定系统及其生命周期成本,包括每种发电模式的平均能源成本(Levelized Cost of Energy,LCOE)和净现值成本(Net Present Cost,NPC)。结果显示,与向农村社区供电的微电网光伏系统相比,一个独立家庭的独立光伏系统的LCOE被认为具有成本效益。第三,本文进行了太阳能预测,以确定根据天气条件建立多大的微电网和独立的光伏系统。根据不同的气候条件,应用了线性回归模型、随机森林回归模型、神经网络回归、Ada Boost回归、额外树回归等机器学习方法,对这些结果进行了比较,计算结果显示,在一定的变异条件下,额外树和随机森林在预测质量方面有非常好的准确性,但随机森林由于运行时间短而具有很好的优势,与额外树回归模型相比是准确的.

Liver diseases in pregnancy may be categorized into liver disorders that occur only in the setting of pregnancy and liver diseases that occur coincidentally with pregnancy. Hyperemesis gravidarum, preeclampsia/eclampsia, syndrome of hemolysis, elevated liver tests and low platelets (HELLP), acute fatty liver of pregnancy, and intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy are pregnancy-specific disorders that may cause elevations in liver tests and hepatic dysfunction. Chronic liver diseases, including cholestatic liver disease, autoimmune hepatitis, Wilson disease, and viral hepatitis may also be seen in pregnancy. Management of liver disease in pregnancy requires collaboration between obstetricians and gastroenterologists/hepatologists. Treatment of pregnancy-specific liver disorders usually involves delivery of the fetus and supportive care, whereas management of chronic liver disease in pregnancy is directed toward optimizing control of the liver disorder. Cirrhosis in the setting of pregnancy is less commonly observed but offers unique challenges for patients and practitioners. This article reviews the epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of liver diseases seen in pregnancy.

High-throughput technologies in combination with modern exciting advancements in mass spectrometry-based proteomics and data analysis pipelines have empowered comprehensive characterization of disease phenotypes and their mechanistic regulation by dietary agents and bioactive molecules at unprecedented dimensionality and resolution. Extra-ordinary breakthroughs in the field of nutrigenomics have leveraged our understanding altogether to a new level of maturity. Interdisciplinary researchers have extensively analyzed health promoting and pharmacologically significant properties of garlic (Allium sativum). Importantly， garlic and its biologically active chemicals targeted oncogenic signaling cascades. In this mini-review we have attempted to summarize how garlic and its bioactive constituents regulated signal transduction cascades in cell culture studies and tumor-bearing mice.
