Herein,we report the synthesis of Zn_(0.7)Mg_(0.3)Nd_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4)(where,x=0,0,0,01,0,02)ferrite nanoparticles by employing the sol-gel auto-combustion *** X-ray diffraction(XRD)pattern suggests the formation of a pure cubic structure,without any impurity phase,with an Fd3m space group at room *** increasing doping amount,the crystallite size is reported as 35-41 nm,while the lattice parameters rise from 0.8381 to 0.8395 *** emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM)images show the formation of spherical grains with agglomerated morphology in all the samples,with grain sizes ranging from 49 to 103 *** dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX)and elemental mapping investigation confirm the chemical purity of all the *** transform infrared(FTIR)analysis shows the presence of two prominent peaks around 440 and 560 cm^(-1)that correspond to the octahedral and tetrahedral *** addition,the existence of five Raman active vibratio nal modes in all produced specimens again confirms the structural purity of all the *** M-H curve shows that saturation magnetization(M_(s))first increases from 14.98 to 28.22 emu/g and then decreases to 18.98emu/g with increasing doping *** is due to the A-B type super-exchange interaction for the synthesized *** variation in coercivity(H_(c))and magnetic anisotropy(K_(1))suggest the thermal stability of all the samples and can be utilized in transformers and solenoids.

AIM:Aegle marmelos is a medicinal herb belonging to the Rutacae *** fruit of *** at each stage of ripening is used as ethnomedicine to cure various *** aim of the present study was to determine the components contributing to the medicinal value of the *** fruit at different stages of ***:High-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was used to determine polyphenol,vitamins,organic acids and sugars in *** fruit at different stages of ***:Tannin,a polyphenol responsible for astringent and antimicrobial properties of *** fruit was found to increase during ***,a vital medicinal component was detected in traceable amount only in full-ripe *** ***-vin contributes towards body growth,reproduction and red cell *** content of ascorbic acid(vitamin C)which is useful in preventing scurvy decreased significantly as fruit ***:The difference in the medicinal effect of *** fruit at each stage of ripening might be due to the presence of different amount of polyphenol,vitamins and organic acids.

Identifying the factors associated with depressive symptoms among postpartum mothers in Kathmandu, Nepal

Purpose:This study aimed to identify the factors associated with depressive symptoms among postpartum mothers in Kathmandu,***:A hospital-based cross-sectional study that included 346 postpartum mothers at 4-14 weeks after delivery was carried *** Nepalese version of Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale with cut-off value of≥12 was used to screen depressive symptoms and structured questionnaires were used to identify the associated *** factors associated with depressive symptoms were identified by logistic regression ***:The mean age of the mothers was 22.75(SD=4.51).The prevalence of depressive symptoms among postpartum mothers was 17.1%(95%CI=15.07-19.12).No significant association existed between postpartum depressive symptoms and socio demographic and economic *** multivariate analysis,risk factors for postpartum depressive symptoms were identified as follows:women without adequate rest during pregnancy(aOR=4.023,95%CI=1.294-12.501),abortion history(aOR=3.25,95%CI=1.208-9.065),poor relationship with husband(aOR=1.67,95%CI=1.073-8.384),marital dissatisfaction(aOR=4.053,95%CI=2.281-12.819)and stressful life events(aOR=3.89,95%CI=1.504-9.810).Conclusions:This study aids to draw attention on the incorporation of routine screening for basic support and intervention for identified risk factors in postpartum *** can be formulated to encourage postpartum women to obtain adequate rest during pregnancy,support women with poor partner relationship,reduce marital dissatisfaction,help women adjust with stressful life events,and prevent and manage abortion *** policies may reduce harmful consequences of postpartum depressive symptoms for women,newborn and their family.

Lycopene treatment stalls the onset of experimentally induced hepatocellular carcinoma: a radioisotopic, physiological and biochemical analysis

Aim:The present study was aimed to determine the modulatory role of lycopene enriched tomato extract(LycT)during initiation of N-nitrosodiethylamine(NDEA)induced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods:Female Balb/c mice were divided into 4 groups:control,NDEA(200 mg NDEA/kg ***,cumulative dose),LycT(5 mg/kg ***,thrice a week)and LycT+*** administration was commenced 2 weeks prior to NDEA administration in LycT+NDEA ***:NDEA treatment caused histopathological alterations in hepatic tissue and was associated with enhanced serum levels of inflammatory markers,i.e.,tumor necrosis factor-alpha,interleukin(IL)-6 and IL-β.NDEA treatment also induced functional alterations in liver as evident by slow 99mTc-mebrofenin hepatic *** administration to NDEA mice showed improved hepatic functional status as demonstrated by normal 99mTc-mebrofenin *** treatment also caused alterations in the hematological parameters such as hemoglobin,red blood cells,platelets and total leucocyte counts.A significant increase in plasma lipid peroxidation and decrease in reduced glutathione levels with alterations in various enzymatic antioxidants were observed upon NDEA *** pre-treatment aided in boosting the antioxidant defense system and ameliorated the inflammatory and hematological ***:As evident by improved functional,hematological and biochemical markers,it may be inferred that LycT has the potential to delay HCC initiation.

研究背景:磁共振扩散加权成像(diffusion weighted imaging,DWI)是目前惟一能够检测活体组织内水分子扩散运动的无创方法。原理为射频脉冲使体素内质子的相位一致,射频脉冲关闭后,由于组织的T2弛豫和主磁场不均匀将造成质子逐渐失相位,从而造成宏观横向磁化矢量的衰减。除了上述两种因素以外,我们在某个方向上施加一个扩散梯度场,人为在该方向上制造磁场不均匀,造成体素内质子群失相位,然后在施加一个强度与持续时间完全相同的反向扩散梯度场,则会出现两种情况:在该方向上没有位移的质子不会受两次梯度场强的影响而失相位,而移动的质子因两次梯度场引起的相位变化不能相互抵消,而失相位信号衰减。体素中水分子都存在一定程度的扩散运动,其方向是随机的,而在扩散梯度场方向上的扩散运动将造成体素信号的衰减,如果水分子在敏感梯度场方向上扩散越自由,则在扩散梯度场施加期间扩散距离越大,经历的磁场变化也越大,组织信号衰减越明显。DWI通过测量施加扩散敏感梯度场前后组织发生的信号强度变化,来检测组织中水分子扩散状态(自由度及方向),后者可间接反映组织微观结构特点及其变化。在DWI上组织信号衰减不仅由于水分子的扩散运动,水分子在扩散敏感梯度场方向上各种形式的运动(或位置移动)还将造成组织信号的衰减,如血流灌及其他生理运动等。因此利用DWI上组织信号强度变化检测到的不是真正的扩散系数,会受到其他形式水分子运动的影响。为此,我们把检测到的扩散系数称为表观扩散系数(apparent diffusion coeffecient,ADC)。计算组织的ADC值至少需要利用2个以上不同的b值,其计算公式如下:ADC=ln(SI低/SI高)/(b高-b低)。式中SI低表示低b值DWI上组织的信号强度(b值可以是零);SI高表示高b值DWI上组织的信号强度;b高表示高b值;b低表示低b值;ln表示自然对数。原发性肝癌是肝细胞或胆管细胞内发生的肿瘤,是消化系统最常见的恶性肿瘤,好发年龄为409岁。男女之比为4∶1。肝癌有其特殊的地理和人群分布。由于肝癌起病隐匿,缺乏典型的、特异性的临床症状和体症,早期不易发现。自行就诊患者多属于中晚期,常有肝区疼痛、食欲减退、乏力、消受和肝脏肿大等症状或已有血行和淋巴转移。中晚期肝癌恶性度高,预后很差,而早期肝癌术后五年生存率很高。一般认为,肝癌的发病机制主要与乙型肝炎、丙型肝炎、黄曲酶毒素B1及亚硝胺类、偶氮芥类、酒精、有机氯农药等化学物质有关。原发性肝癌的影像学检查现已形成包括超声、血管造影、CT、MRI等较完整的检查体系。原发性肝癌易发生于肝右叶,左叶及尾叶少见。其组织学类型主要有三种:肝细胞型、胆管细胞型和混合型,纤维板层样肝癌为肝细胞癌的一种特殊类型。肝细胞型的组织学特征为:(1)癌细胞有肝细胞的特征;(2)癌细胞排列呈条状,索粗细不一,索间有窦,窦壁有内皮细胞,部分有腺泡或毛细胆管;(3)癌细胞呈浸润生长,可累及血管形成癌栓;(4)癌细胞中可见异型细胞,如透明细胞、梭型细胞等。胆管细胞癌占肝癌的5%0%,其组织学特征为:癌细胞呈柱状或立方形,排列呈线状、囊或乳头状,结缔组织多,一般不伴有肝硬化,AFP为阴性。混合型肝癌由肝细胞癌和胆管细胞癌组成,主要呈腺管状排列,两种癌细胞可并存而不相混杂或相互混杂难以区分。纤维层样肝细胞癌为肝细胞癌的一种特殊和罕见类型,左叶多见,成膨胀性生长,包膜完整,有明显纤维组织包绕,该型手术切除率高,预后较好。螺旋CT是近年发展起来的新的扫描技术,扫描速度快,并采用螺旋方式扫描,图像的获得是联系不间断的。由于采用容积式扫描,在一次屏气内即可完成,不受呼吸、运动的影响,使全肝分别在动脉期及门脉期连续扫描,双期对比能正确评价病变的血流变化及性质。因此,对小病灶的检出率高于常规CT扫描。另外可进行回顾性重建,对病灶内部的观察更为清楚,如小的出血、坏死或钙化、脂肪变性等易于发现。螺旋CT动态增强扫描无论在对病灶的检出、定性、分期和术后随访方面都明显由于常规CT检查。螺旋CT增强动脉期、静脉期扫描的优势是可以保证全肝均在动脉期内完成扫描,因此,肝内多发结节,巨块结节或弥漫性结节等都能见到强化表现,对小的子灶的检出无疑优于常规CT增强扫描和动态扫描。另外,应用双螺旋技术,于一次静脉注射造影剂后,可分别在动脉期及门脉期完成CTA及CTAP扫描,得到全肝动脉期及门脉期图像,为无创伤性检查是它的优越性。CTA有利于血供丰富性肿瘤的诊断,CTAP有利于乏血性肿瘤的诊断,双期观察,有利于了解肿瘤血流动力学特点,对于肿瘤的检出、定性诊断及鉴别诊断有很大价值,尤其对小肝癌的敏感性和特异性明显优于常规CT。MRI检查即核磁共振成像从20世纪80年代开始进入肝癌的临床研究与诊断。MRI在发现肝癌、鉴别诊断和肝癌分期上均很有帮助

随着全球经济危机的影响和对清洁可持续能源的生态关注的持续增加,能源转换和储存设备的开发得到了更广泛的重视,如水电解槽、燃料电池和金属空气电池等。为了更好地为促进技术进步,新型能源的开发至关重要。能源转换装置的基础层面是一系列的电化学反应过程,并且在未来的商业化技术中,氧化还原反应的缓慢阴极动力学限制了燃料电池的整体性能效率。目前的技术主要使用铂及其合金,但是由于甲醇交叉的低耐受性而导致的稀缺性、高价格和不稳定性阻碍了其大规模商业化。为了寻求高性能且非贵重的电催化剂来代替Pt催化剂,本文研究了可再生衍生的几种与Fe盐结合的氨基酸的合成,以及其在氧还原反应和锌空气电池合成中的活性性能。首先,通过模板辅助的水热混合和高温下的两步热解合成了14种不同的氨基酸掺杂乳酸亚铁盐。合成的样品表现出褶皱结构和颗粒的致密聚集,对于氧还原反应(ORR)表现出中等到差的性能。基于形态学方面研究,经前体负载修饰的Fe NC-精氨酸、Fe NC-色氨酸和Fe NC-组氨酸,与未修饰的样品相比,半波电势分别改善了0.026V、0.055V和0.018V,而且形态变为海绵状网络结构,分散性更好。由于多孔形态和较高的氮掺杂百分比,其活性性能得到提升。本研究提供了一种平台,通过进一步调整形态和掺杂含量,氨基酸可用作朝向氧化还原探测燃料电池和金属-空气电池的潜在材基于上述研究工作,本文的第二部分旨在利用组氨酸氨基酸作为碳和氮前体的单一来源来合成Fe-N-C电催化剂。其复杂的电化学性能与Fe-N相互作用和介孔碳骨架的先进结构表征有关。Fe NC-L1和Fe NC-A1均能实现优异性能,与Pt/C基准相比,分别为E 0.816 V和0.840 V ***,相应的j分别为5.4 m A cm和5.71 m A cm,而且都具有优异的稳定性(c.a响应分别为88.2%和95.0%)。XPS结果表明催化剂结构中具有高百分含量掺杂氮的吡啶,以及Fe和Fe的铁氧化态作为Fe N的组成部分,可以降低氧的吸收能垒来催化氧还原反应。并且,对于Fe NC-A1和Fe NC-L1的锌-空气电池,其最大功率密度可分别达到114.4 Wm cm和98.7 Wm cm。由于中介孔碳骨架的作用,两者的BET比表面积可高达713.67 mg和985.99 mg。

Phytochemical profile and biological activity of Juglans regia

Juglans regia Linn. （Juglandaceae）, popularly known as English or Persian walnut, is a valuable medicinal plant with a potency to cure various diseases in traditional medicine, Since ancient time, different local ethnic groups have used various part of J. regia for a wide array of ailments including helminthiasis, diarrhea, sinusitis, stomach ache, arthritis, asthma, eczema, scrofula, skin disorders, diabetes mellitus, anorexia, thyroid dysfunction, cancer and infectious diseases. Biological activities of J. regia have been reported in several peer review journals and scientific attention is increasing. The present review attempts to provide comprehensive information on plant description, ethnobotanical use, toxicity, phytochemical profile, pharmacology, clinical studies and current research prospective of the J. regia. Currently, there is an immense interest on isolation/identification of active constituents from walnut and screening those active compounds for pharmacological activities. In addition, researchers are performing clinical trials as well as screening various solvent extracts or fractions of J. regia in several animal diseases models to identify promising therapeutic benefits. In the present work, we review the latest information based on published scientific investigations of J. regia.

Pollution Potential Ranking of Industries Using Classical TODIM Method

Pollution of air and water is increasing day by day, as the number of industry is in-creasing and sometimes emission of pollutants in air and water exceeds the norms. So the pollution potential of industries based on the emission of pollutants needs to be assessed. In proposed method, based on the weights and emission of the pollutants, the final score of industries has been calculated which indicates the polluting potential of the industry. In this paper, attempt has been made to evaluate the score and the rank of industries using TODIM decision making process, in which higher score of particular industry is an indicator of higher pollution load imparted by particular industry and vice versa.

Heart disease prognosis(HDP)is a difficult undertaking that requires knowledge and expertise to predict early *** failure is on the rise as a result of today’s *** healthcare business generates a vast volume of patient records,which are challenging to manage *** it comes to data mining and machine learning,having a huge volume of data is crucial for getting meaningful *** methods for predictingHDhave been used by researchers over the last few decades,but the fundamental concern remains the uncertainty factor in the output data,aswell as the need to decrease the error rate and enhance the accuracy of HDP assessment ***,in order to discover the optimal HDP solution,this study compares multiple classification algorithms utilizing two separate heart disease datasets from the Kaggle repository and the University of California,Irvine(UCI)machine learning *** a comparative analysis,Mean Absolute Error(MAE),Relative Absolute Error(RAE),precision,recall,fmeasure,and accuracy are used to evaluate Linear Regression(LR),Decision Tree(J48),Naive Bayes(NB),Artificial Neural Network(ANN),Simple Cart(SC),Bagging,Decision Stump(DS),AdaBoost,Rep Tree(REPT),and Support Vector Machine(SVM).Overall,the SVM classifier surpasses other classifiers in terms of increasing accuracy and decreasing error rate,with RAE of 33.2631 andMAEof 0.165,the precision of 0.841,recall of 0.835,f-measure of 0.833,and accuracy of 83.49 percent for the dataset gathered from *** SC improves accuracy and reduces the error rate for the Kaggle dataset,which is 3.30%for RAE,0.016 percent for MAE,0.984%for precision,0.984 percent for recall,0.984 percent for f-measure,and 98.44%for accuracy.

Implementation of N-Bit Binary Multiplication Using N - 1 Bit Multiplication Based on Nikhilam Sutra and Karatsuba Principles Using Complement Method

This paper is designed to introduce new hybrid Vedic algorithm to increase the speed of the multiplier. This work combines the principles of Nikhilam sutra and Karatsuba algorithm. Vedic Mathematics is the mathematical system to solve the complex computations in an easier manner. There are specific sutras to perform multiplication. Nikhilam sutra is one of the sutra. But this has some limitations. To overcome the limitations, this sutra is combined with Karatsuba algorithm. High speed devices are required for high speed applications with compact size. Normally multipliers require more power for its computation. In this paper, new multiplication algorithm for the multiplication of binary numbers is proposed based on Vedic Mathematics. The novel portion in the algorithm is found to be in the calculation of remainder using complement method. The size of the remainder is always set as N - 1 bit for any combination of input. The multiplier structure is designed based on Karatsuba algorithm. Therefore, N × N bit multiplication is done by (N - 1) bit multiplication. Numerical strength reduction is done through Karatsuba algorithm. The results show that the reduction in hardware leads to reduction in the delay.
