Evaluation of CMIP5 Climate Models in Simulating 1979–2005 Oceanic Latent Heat Flux over the Pacific

The climatological mean state, seasonal variation and long-term upward trend of 1979-2005 latent heat flux （LHF） in historical runs of 14 coupled general circulation models from CMIP5 （Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5） are evaluated against OAFlux （Objectively Analyzed air-sea Fluxes） data. Inter-model diversity of these models in simulating the annual mean climatological LHF is discussed. Results show that the models can capture the climatological LHF fairly well, but the amplitudes are generally overestimated. Model-simulated seasonal variations of LHF match well with observations with overestimated amplitudes. The possible origins of these biases are wind speed biases in the CMIP5 models. Inter-model diversity analysis shows that the overall stronger or weaker LHF over the tropical and subtropical Pacific region, and the meridional variability of LHF, are the two most notable diversities of the CMIP5 models. Regression analysis indicates that the inter-model diversity may come from the diversity of simulated SST and near-surface atmospheric specific humidity. Comparing the observed long-term upward trend, the trends of LHF and wind speed are largely underestimated, while trends of SST and air specific humidity are grossly overestimated, which may be the origins of the model biases in reproducing the trend of LHF.

Magnetocardiography(MCG)measurement is important for investigating the cardiac biological ***,the extremely weak MCG signal was detected by using superconducting quantum interference devices(SQUIDs).As a room-temperature magnetic-field sensor,optically pumped magnetometer(OPM)has shown to have comparable sensitivity to that of SQUIDs,which is very suitable for biomagnetic *** this paper,a synthetic gradiometer was constructed by using two OPMs under spin-exchange relaxation-free(SERF)conditions within a moderate magnetically shielded room(MSR).The magnetic noise of the OPM was measured to less than 70 fT/Hz1/*** a baseline of 100 mm,noise cancellation of about 30 dB was *** was successfully measured with a signal to noise ratio(SNR)of about 37 *** synthetic gradiometer technique was very effective to suppress the residual environmental fields,demonstrating the OPM gradiometer technique for highly cost-effective biomagnetic measurements.

Along with the rapid development of biometric authentication technology,face recognition has been commercially used in many industries in recent ***,it cannot be ignored that face recognition-based authentication techniques can be easily spoofed using various types of attacks such photographs,videos or forged 3D *** order to solve this problem,this work proposed a face anti-fraud algorithm based on the fusion of thermal infrared images and visible light *** normal temperature distribution of the human face is stable and characteristic,and the important physiological information of the human body can be observed by the infrared thermal ***,based on the thermal infrared image,the pixel value of the pulse sensitive area of the human face is collected,and the human heart rate signal is detected to distinguish between real faces and spoofing *** order to better obtain the texture features of the face,an image fusion algorithm based on DTCWT and the improved Roberts algorithm is ***,DTCWT is used to decompose the thermal infrared image and visible light image of the face to obtain high-and low-frequency ***,the method based on region energy and the improved Roberts algorithm are then used to fuse the coefficients of the high-and low-frequency ***,the DTCWT inverse transform is used to obtain the fused image containing the facial texture *** recognition is carried out on the fused image to realize identity *** results show that this algorithm can effectively resist attacks from photos,videos or *** with the use of visible light images alone for face recognition,this algorithm has higher recognition accuracy and better robustness.

Load-time series data in mobile cloud computing of Internet of Vehicles(IoV)usually have linear and nonlinear composite *** order to accurately describe the dynamic change trend of such loads,this study designs a load prediction method by using the resource scheduling model for mobile cloud computing of ***,a chaotic analysis algorithm is implemented to process the load-time series,while some learning samples of load prediction are ***,a support vector machine(SVM)is used to establish a load prediction model,and an improved artificial bee colony(IABC)function is designed to enhance the learning ability of the ***,a CloudSim simulation platform is created to select the perminute CPU load history data in the mobile cloud computing system,which is composed of 50 vehicles as the data set;and a comparison experiment is conducted by using a grey model,a back propagation neural network,a radial basis function(RBF)neural network and a RBF kernel function of *** shown in the experimental results,the prediction accuracy of the method proposed in this study is significantly higher than other models,with a significantly reduced real-time prediction error for resource loading in mobile cloud *** with single-prediction models,the prediction method proposed can build up multidimensional time series in capturing complex load time series,fit and describe the load change trends,approximate the load time variability more precisely,and deliver strong generalization ability to load prediction models for mobile cloud computing resources.

Balise system is one kind of high-rate point-mode data transmission *** plays an indispensable role in Chinese Train Control System(CTCS),and it has been immigrated and widely used for passenger dedicated lines and high-speed ***,its working conditions directly affect train operation ***,the balise information transmission system(BITS)is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction,and the communication process is susceptible to external electromagnetic ***,it is vital to study the influence of transient signal interference on the balise *** paper builds the up-link model between the vehicle antena and the balise,and verifies the model’s correctness using finite-difference time-domain method and electromagnetic field *** paper analyzes the effect of electromagnetic pulses on the transponder’s uplink and simulates the coupled current under *** spectral distribution of the three types of pulse interference is analyzed according to relevant *** electromagnetic pulses have a strong energy distribution in the working frequency band of the up-link,which will generate in-band interference and bit *** will affect the balise communication and threaten the safety of train *** we know we are the first to analyze the effects of EMP on Chinese BITS,which will lay a foundation for the research of electromagnetic anti-interference or protection to highspeed railway.

Aiming at the dynamics and uncertainties of natural colors affected by the natural environment,a color P-law generation model based on the natural environment is proposed to develop algorithms and to provide a theoretical basis for plant dynamic color simulation and color sensor data *** on the HSL(Hue,Saturation,Lightness)color solid,the proposed method uses the function P-set to provide a color P-law generation model and an algorithm of the Dynamic Colors System(DCS),establishing the DCS modeling theory of the natural environment and the color P-reasoning simulation based on the HSL color *** experimental results show that based on the color P-law,for the DCS of the natural environment,when the external factors change,the color of the plant changes,accordingly,verifying the effectiveness of the color P-law generation model and the algorithm of the *** the dynamic color intel-ligent simulation system,when external factors change,the dynamic change of plant color generally conforms to the basic laws of the natural *** enables the effective extraction of color data from the Internet of Things(IoT)-based color sensors and provides an effective way to significantly reduce the data transmission bandwidth of the IoT network.

Network security situation awareness is an important foundation for network security management,which presents the target system security status by analyzing existing or potential cyber threats in the target *** network offense and defense,the network security state of the target system will be affected by both offensive and defensive *** to this feature,this paper proposes a network security situation awareness method using stochastic game in cloud computing environment,uses the utility of both sides of the game to quantify the network security situation *** method analyzes the nodes based on the network security state of the target virtual machine and uses the virtual machine introspection mechanism to obtain the impact of network attacks on the target virtual machine,then dynamically evaluates the network security situation of the cloud environment based on the game process of both attack and *** attack prediction,cyber threat intelligence is used as an important basis for potential threat *** threat intelligence that is applicable to the current security state is screened through the system hierarchy fuzzy optimization method,and the potential threat of the target system is analyzed using the cyber threat intelligence obtained through *** there is no applicable cyber threat intelligence,using the Nash equilibrium to make predictions for the attack *** experimental results show that the network security situation awareness method proposed in this paper can accurately reflect the changes in the network security situation and make predictions on the attack behavior.

To better regulate the speed of brushless DC motors,an improved algorithm based on the original Glowworm Swarm Optimization is *** proposed algorithm solves the problems of poor robustness,slow convergence,and low accuracy exhibited by traditional PID *** selecting the glowworm neighborhood set,an optimization scheme based on the growth and competition behavior of weeds is applied to a single glowworm to prevent falling into a local optimal *** the glowworm’s position is updated,the league selection operator is introduced to search for the global optimal *** the local search ability of the invasive weed optimization with the global search ability of the league selection operator enhances the robustness of the algorithm and also accelerates the convergence speed of the *** mathematical model of the brushless DC motor is established,the PID parameters are tuned and optimized using improved Glowworm Swarm Optimization algorithm,and the speed of the brushless DC motor is *** a Simulink environment,a double closed-loop speed control model was established to simulate the speed control of a brushless DC motor,and this simulation was compared with a traditional PID *** simulation results show that the model based on the improved Glowworm Swarm Optimization algorithm has good robustness and a steady-state response speed for motor speed control.

Predicting the blooming season of ornamental plants is significant for guiding adjustments in production decisions and providing viewing periods and *** current strategies for observation of ornamental plant booming periods are mainly based on manpower and experience,which have problems such as inaccurate recognition time,time-consuming and energy ***,this paper proposes a neural network-based method for predicting the flowering phase of pear ***,based on the meteorological observation data of Shijiazhuang Meteorological Station from 2000 to 2019,three principal components(the temperature factor,weather factor,and humidity factor)with high correlation coefficient with the flowering phase of pear tree are obtained by using the principal component analysis ***,the three components are used as input factors for the BP neural network.A BP neural network prediction model is constructed based on genetic algorithm *** crossover operator and mutation operator in the adaptive genetic algorithm are ***,the meteorological sample data from 2013 to 2019 are used to test and verify the algorithm in this *** results demonstrate that,the model can solve the local optimization problem of the BP neural network *** prediction results of the flowering phase of pear tree are evaluated in terms of relevance and prediction *** are superior to the traditional effective accumulated temperature and the prediction results of the stepwise regression *** method can provide more reliable forecast information for the blooming period,which can provide decision-making reference for improving the development of tourism industry.
