Solid-state batteries that employ solid-state electrolytes(SSEs)to replace routine liquid electrolytes are considered to be one of the most promising solutions for achieving high-safety lithium metal *** with high mechani.al modulus,thermal stability,and non-flammability can not only inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites but also enhance the safety of lithium metal ***,several internal materials/electrodes-related thermal hazards demonstrated by recent works show that solid-state lithium metal batteries(SSLMBs)are not ***,understanding the potential thermal hazards of SSLMBs is critical for their more secure and widespread *** this contribution,we provide a comprehensive overview of the thermal failure mechani.m of SSLMBs from materials to ***,strategies to improve the thermal safety performance of SSLMBs are included from the view of material enhancement,battery design,and external ***,the future directions are further *** hope that this work can shed bright insights into the path of constructing energy storage devices with high energy density and safety.

Impact of frailty on short-term postoperative outcomes in patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery:A systematic review and meta-analysis

Distribution and correlation of refractive parameters in children with different corneal curvatures in southeast China

AIM:To analyze the distribution of refractive status in school-age children with different corneal curvatures(CC)and the correlation between CC and refractive ***:A total of 2214 school-aged children of grade 4 in Hangzhou who were screened for school myopia were *** distance visual acuity(UCDVA),non-cycloplegic refraction,axial length(AL),horizontal and vertical corneal curvature(K1,K2)were measured and spherical equivalent(SE),corneal curvature radius(CCR)and axial length/corneal radius of curvature ratio(AL/CR)were ***ni.g *** to the different CCRs,the patients were divided into the lower corneal curvature(LCC)group(CCR≥7.92)and the higher corneal curvature(HCC)group(CCRni.g myopia was higher in the LCC group(62%)than in the HCC group(56%).Among these children without screeni.g myopia,the proportion of long AL in the LCC group(24%)was signi.icantly higher than that in the HCC group(0.012%;Pni.g myopia and longer *** CC can mask SE reduction and AL growth to some extent,and the change of AL growth change more in children with low CC than high *** the onset of myopia,its growth rate is even faster than that after the onset of myopia.

A direct polymeric carbon ni.ride/tungsten oxide Z-scheme heterostructure for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen generation via reforming of plastics into value-added chemicals

To promote charge transfer and separation for efficient photocatalysis,a direct Z-scheme heterostructure was constructed by coupling polymeric carbon ni.ride(PCN) and WO_(3).Interestingly,the obtained PCN/WO_(3)Z-scheme heterostructure could photocataly tic ally produce hydrogen and value-added chemicals(e.g.,formate and acetate) by reforming of plastic polylactic acid(PLA) in alkaline aqueous *** optimizing WO_(3) contents and reaction conditions,the obtained PCN/WO_(3)heterostructure exhibits much increased photocatalytic activity for PLA photoreforming under visible light,with hydrogen evolution rate reaching 402.90 μmol·g~(-1)·h~(-1),which is 3.5 times that of *** is revealed that the Z-scheme charge transfer between PCN and WO_(3) mainly contributes to the promoted charge separation and thus the improved photocatalytic ***,with h+and·OH experimentally evidenced as the predominant active species,a possible reaction pathway for the reforming of PLA into value-added chemicals(e.g.,formate and acetate)over PCN/WO_(3) Z-scheme heterostructure is cleared by moni.oring the reaction intermediates and *** work paves a carbon neutrality and scalable route toward the synergistical production of hydrogen and value-added chemicals by utilizing and recycling plastic waste.

Oxidative therapies receive a limited antitumor efficiency due to the insufficient reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels at focal sites and the evolvement of antioxidant defense ***,we develop an albumin-based nanomedicine to co-deliver chlorin e6(Ce6)and COH-SR4(CS),which can simultaneously enhance the yield and lethality of intracellular ROS for amplified photodynamic therapy(PDT).In which,CS acts as both an activator of AMP-activated protein kinase(AMPK)and an inhibitor of glutathione S-transferases(GSTs).Benefiting from it,the prepared HSA-Ce6@COH-SR4(HCCS)enables positive feed-back uptake by promoting AMPK phosphorylation,leading to rapid and extensive tumor accumulation of *** a result,HCCS obviously increases the ROS production to elevate intracellular oxidative ***,HCCS can inhibit GSTs to disturb the antioxidant defense system of tumor cells,intensifying the oxidative damage of ***,the PDT of HCCS is signi.icantly strengthened by improving the ROS yield and lethality,which greatly declines the proliferation of breast cancer in *** study may open a window in the development of drug co-delivery system for enhanced oxidative therapy of tumors.

Development and validation of a novel non-invasive test for diagnosing nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in Chinese children

With the exploding prevalence of obesity,many children are at risk of developing nonalcoholic fatty liver *** anthropometric and laboratory parameters,our study aimed to develop a model to quantitatively evaluate liver fat content(LFC)in children with *** A well-characterized cohort of 181 children between 5 and 16 years of age were recruited to the study in the Endocrinology Department as the derivation *** external validation cohort comprised 77 *** assessment of liver fat content was performed using proton magnetic resonance *** and laboratory metrics were measured in all subjects.B-ultrasound examination was carried out in the external validation *** Kruskal-Wallis test,Spearman bivariate correlation analyses,uni.ariable linear regressions and multivariable linear regression were used to build the optimal predictive *** The model was based on indicators including alani.e aminotransferase,homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance,triglycerides,waist circumference and Tanner *** adjusted R^(2)of the model was 0.589,which presented high sensitivity and specificity both in internal[sensitivity of 0.824,specificity of 0.900,area under curve(AUC)of 0.900 with a 95%confidence interval:0.783–1.000]and external validation(sensitivity of 0.918 and specificity of 0.821,AUC of 0.901 with a 95%confidence interval:0.818–0.984).Conclusions Our model based on five clini.al indicators was simple,non-invasive,and inexpensive;it had high sensitivity and specificity in predicting LFC in ***,it may be useful for identifying children with obesity who are at risk for developing nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
