Comparison of Treatment Efficacy of Different Number of Botulinum Toxin Type A Injection Sites for Crow’s Feet Lines: A Single-Center Retrospective Clinical Study in Vietnam

Objective: Botulinum toxin type A is frequently used to treat crow’s feet lines. However, the optimal dose and injection sites are still controversial. The objective of this study was to compare the efficacy of different botulinum toxin type A injection patterns for the treatment of crow’s ***: this single-center, retrospective, clinical study was conducted at the National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology from July 2020 to December 2020. Data on 60 patients with crow’s feet were collected and divided into 2 groups (3-or 4-point intramuscular injection) according to the intramuscular injection technique the patients received. The treatment efficacy was assessed based on the changes in the Crow’s Feet Grading Scale score at 1, 4, and 16 weeks after treatment. Repeated measures analysis of variance was used for the assessment of changes in scores over time between the two ***: After treatment, the average Crow’s Feet Grading Scale score was significantly decreased compared with the pretreatment score at all timepoints (1, 4, and 16 weeks) in both states (dynamic: For 3-point intramuscular injection technique, 1 week: 1.90 ± 0.71vs. 2.97 ± 0.56; 4 weeks: 1.87 ± 0.68vs. 2.97 ± 0.56; 16 weeks: 2.60 ± 0.67vs. 2.97 ± 0.56. For 4-point intramuscular injection technique, 1 week: 1.73 ± 0.83vs. 3.03 ± 0.49; 4 weeks: 1.73 ± 0.74vs. 3.03 ± 0.49; 16 weeks: 2.57 ± 0.68vs. 3.03 ± 0.49, allP < 0.001. and static: For 3-point intramuscular injection technique, 1 week: 1.20 ± 0.89vs. 2.20 ± 0.85; 4 weeks:1.20 ± 0.89vs. 2.20 ± 0.85; 16 weeks: 1.87 ± 0.97vs. 2.20 ± 0.85; For 4-point intramuscular injection technique, 1 week: 1.50 ± 0.86vs. 2.30 ± 0.84; 4 weeks: 1.33 ± 0.84vs. 2.30 ± 0.84; 16 weeks: 1.87 ± 0.97vs. 2.30 ± 0.84. Healthcare supply chains are under pressure to drive down costs because of digital business,shifting customer needs and new *** waste generated from medical facilities includes medical activities and daily-life activities of patients and their family *** to statistics of the Department of Health EnvironmentalManagement,Vietnam currently has more than 13,500 medical facilities,including hospitals from central to provincial and district levels and private hospitals and medical *** medicine generates about 590 tons of medical waste/day and is estimated to be about 800 tons/*** waste includes ordinary medical waste and hazardous medical waste;in which ordinary medical waste accounts for about 80%–90%,only about 10%–20%is hazardous medical waste including infectious waste and non-infectious hazardous *** is an environmental and occupational health issue that needs attention in developing countries like *** large amounts of medical waste to ensure environmental and personal hygiene,doing so inefficiently creates potential hazards to the environment and increases operating ***,hospitals lack objective criteria and methods to evaluate and select the most optimal infectious medical waste,relying instead on their own subjective assessment and prior ***,the author proposed a fuzzy multicriteria decision making(MCDM)model including Fuzzy Analytic hierarchy process(FAHP)and the Weighted Aggregated Sum-Product Assessment(WASPAS)for infectious medical waste contractors’selection in this *** proposed Fuzzy MCDM method is in-tended to provide a more efficient,accurate method in the selection of infectious medical waste contractors than subjective assessment methods,thus reduce potential risks to *** results of this study can be applied to evaluate and select contractors in other industries.

In this study, a novel layer-by-layer polyaniline/graphene （PANi/Gr） structure for electrochemical detec- tion of atrazine was developed. Gr film was synthesized by thermal chemical vapor deposition （CVD） method and transferred onto the PANi-predeposited microelectrode. The properties of PANi/Gr film were thoroughly investigated by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and Raman techniques. The most attractive feature of this system is a suitable microenvironment, which could provide an amplifi- cation of the conductive signal, thus may contribute to enhancing electron transfer and subsequently improve the sensitivity in electrochemical measurements. With low detection limit （- 43 × 10 -12 g/L）, ac-ceptable stability and good reproducibility, the proposed electrochemical immunosensor could be advantageously extended for multiplexed detection of other agents of environmental pollution.

Scouring of a granular bed by dam break: Experimental study and numerical simulation by a VOF-LPT coupling

The first part of the research reported here consists of an experimental campaign to study the scouring of a granular bed(glass beads, sand) induced by a dam break in an open channel. Two configurations are considered: with and without cylinders. In the second part of this study, the volume of fluid method coupled with the shear stress transport turbulent model and the lagrangian particle tracking method is used to simulate the local scour processes. The four-way coupling is realized by considering the drag force and collisions between particles. Using a vortex map and velocity profiles, the flow dynamics and scour pattern can be studied. The current research also focuses on the profiles of the erodible particle bed and the sediment transport rate to study the effects of a cylinder on local scour. The presence of the cylinder increases the experimental erosion depth by up to 42%. It was found that for relatively close particle diameters(2 and 3 mm), a granular bed with larger porosity(larger diameter) erodes the *** and numerically it was found that the center of the granular bed experiences more erosion compared to the channel sides. In the last part of the research, comparisons between the numerical results and the experimental data allowed risk areas to be identified and the roles of porosity,sediment density, and flow dynamics on erosion to be identified.

BACKGROUND Twin reversed arterial perfusion(TRAP) sequence is an extremely rare congenital anomaly in monochorionic(MC) *** condition is characterized by a malformed fetus(acardiac twin) without cardiac activities being perfused by a structurally normal one(pump twin) via an artery-to-artery anastomosis in a reverse *** SUMMARY We described the first case of TRAP to receive laser surgery in *** 26-wk pregnancy was originally misdiagnosed in another hospital as MC twins with single intrauterine fetal *** admission to our center,the diagnosis was amended to a 26-wk TRAP sequence stage *** acardiac twin was 7.5 cm at the longest length,the ratio of the weight of the acardiac twin to the weight of the pump twin was more than 90%,the pump twin showed fetal distress with absent diastolic flow in umbilical artery of pump twin,and the peak systolic velocity in the middle cerebral artery = 1.6 Mo *** performed emergency laser photocoagulation of the acardiac twin’s umbilical *** surgery,we successfully maintained the pregnancy for 8 wk and ended it electively by cesarean section at 34 wk of gestation due to rupture of *** TRAP should be appropriately diagnosed and treated early to avoid complications of the pump *** laser photocoagulation is a new and effective treatment for this condition.

Land subsidence prediction for a new urban mass rapid transit line in Hanoi

The rapidly increasing population,urbanization,and industrialization of Hanoi city in the last few decades have necessitated the urgent development of a new underground public transport infrastructure such as the urban mass rapid transit(UMRT)system that is now under ***,concerns on the possible effects of land subsidence on the to-be-constructed and operated UMRT lines must be *** of the difficulties while assessing land subsidence in Hanoi is the insufficient subsidence monitoring ***,a good geotechnical characterization of the subsoil profile and proper numerical analysis can help predict groundwater pumping-induced subsidence *** UMRT line No.2 that was selected for this study is special as it runs across the old quarter downtown,located at the very heart of Hanoi *** this paper,the Hanoi aquifer system,groundwater extraction,and subsidence monitoring network of Hanoi are reviewed *** data from 30 investigation boreholes were analyzed to characterize the subsoil profile underlying a segment of the UMRT line No.2 that consists of both elevated and underground *** soil layers were identified up to a depth of 50 m,including a compressible soft clay layer 10-15 m thick that is supposed to be most vulnerable to subsidence by groundwater *** on the long-term groundwater monitoring data,one-dimensional finite element method(FEM)consolidation analyses were carried out for three drawdown boundary conditions of 5,10,and 15 m and yielded a total subsidence of 0.15,0.35,and 0.5 m,respectively,after 25 years with 1994 as the reference *** results of this study confirmed that land subsidence in particular should be considered in the construction and maintenance of the UMRT lines in Hanoi,in particular for underground sections that are founded on soft to medium clay layers.

Bounds of weighted multilinear Hardy-Ceshro operators in p-adic functional spaces

We introduce the p-adic weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesaro operator. We also obtain the necessary and sufficient conditions on weight functions to ensure the boundedness of that operator on the product of Lebesgue spaces, Morrey spaces, and central bounded mean oscillation spaces. In each case, we obtain the corresponding operator norms. We also characterize the good weights for the boundedness of the commutator of weighted multilinear Hardy-Cesaro operator on the product of central Morrey spaces with symbols in central bounded mean oscillation spaces.

Properties of poly（1-naphthylamine）/Fe3O4 composites and arsenic adsorption capacity in wastewater

The research results of poly（1-naphthylamine）lFe3O4 （PNA/Fe3O4） nanocomposites synthesized by a chemical method for As（Ⅲ） wastewater treatment are presented in this paper. XRD patterns and TEM images showed that the Fe3O4 grain size varied from 13 to 20 nm. The results of Raman spectral analysis showed that PNA participated in part of the PNA/Fe3O4 composite samples. The grain size of PNA/Fe3O4 composite samples is about 25-30 nm measured by SEM. The results of vibrating sample magnetometer measurements at room temperature showed that the saturation magnetic moment of PNA/Fe3O4 samples decreased from 63.13 to 43.43 emu/g, while the PNA concentration increased from 5% to 15%. The nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm of samples at 77 K at a relative pressure PIPo of about 1 was studied in order to investigate the surface and porous structure of nanoparticles by the BET method. Although the saturation magnetic moments of samples decreased with the polymer concentration increase, the arsenic adsorption capacity of the PNA/Fe3O4 sample with the PNA concentration of 5% is better than that of Fe3O4 in a solution with pH = 7. In the solution with pH 〉 14, the arsenic adsorption of magnetic nanoparticles is insignificant.
