Water level predictions in the river,lake and delta play an important role in flood *** year Mekong River delta of vietnam is experiencing flood due to heavy monsoon rains and high *** subsidence may also aggravate flooding problems in this ***,accurate predictions of water levels in this region are very important to forewarn the people and authorities for taking timely adequate remedial measures to prevent losses of life and *** are so many methods available to predict the water levels based on historical data but nowadays Machine Learning(ML)methods are considered the best tool for accurate *** this study,we have used surface water level data of 18 water level measurement stations of the Mekong River delta from 2000 to 2018 to build novel time-series Bagging based hybrid ML models namely:Bagging(RF),Bagging(SOM)and Bagging(M5P)to predict historical water levels in the study *** of the Bagging-based hybrid models were compared with Reduced Error Pruning Trees(REPT),which is a benchmark ML *** data of 19 years period was divided into 70:30 ratio for the *** data of the period 1/2000 to 5/2013(which is about 70%of total data)was used for the training and for the period 5/2013 to 12/2018(which is about 30%of total data)was used for testing(validating)the *** of the models was evaluated using standard statistical measures:Coefficient of Determination(R2),Root Mean Square Error(RMSE)and Mean Absolute Error(MAE).Results show that the performance of all the developed models is good(R2>0.9)for the prediction of water levels in the study ***,the Bagging-based hybrid models are slightly better than another model such as ***,these Bagging-based hybrid time series models can be used for predicting water levels at Mekong data.

Background:Strongyloidiasis,a neglected disease caused by intestinal nematodes of the genus,is endemic to tropical and subtropical areas such as *** methods only identify the genus,while DNA-molecular techniques are susceptible in Strongyloides *** study aims to determine the prevalence of dominant Strongyloides species among the population in Duc Hoa district,Long An,***:A cross-sectional study used 1190 stool specimens collected from July 2017 to November *** samples were transported within 2 h,stored at 2-8℃,and processed within 48 h for microscopy smear and culture at the Laboratory of Medical Parasitology,Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine(PNT).Then all positive samples with the above 2 methods were verified by real-time PCR ***-time PCR amplification was conducted at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology,***:Direct microscopy and modified Harada-Mori culture detected Strongyloides *** in 79/1190 sam-ples(6.6%).About 94.2%of the DNA samples were Strongyloides stercoralis,2.9%were co-infections with Strongy-loides ratti and ***,and 2.9%were patients with *** identity of 12/14 sequences was confirmed as *** with a high level of similarity(91.3%-100%)and over 98%for ***:DNA-molecular techniques and sequence analysis are highly suitable for identifying Strongyloides species isolated from stool *** is remarkable evidence of the presence of zoonosis *** disease in human,not just the known *** is likely to result in a certain proportion of people being infected by this animal-borne infectious pathogen.

Investigation of Polymorphisms in Coding Region of OsHKT1in Relation to Salinity in Rice

Rice （Oryza sativa） is sensitive to salinity, but the salt tolerance level differs among cultivars,which might result from natural variations in the genes that are responsible for salt tolerance. High-affinitypotassium transporter （HKTs） has been proven to be involved in salt tolerance in plants. Therefore, wescreened for natural nucleotide polymorphism in the coding sequence of OsHKT1, which encodes the HKTprotein in eight vietnamese rice cultivars differing in salt tolerance level. In total, seven nucleotidesubstitutions in coding sequence of OsHKT1 were found, including two non-synonymous and five synonymoussubstitutions. Further analysis revealed that these two non-synonymous nucleotide substitutions （G50Tand T1209A） caused changes in amino acids （Gly17val and Asp403Glu） at signal peptide and the loop ofthe sixth transmembrane domain, respectively. To assess the potential effect of these substitutions on theprotein function, the 3D structure of HKT protein variants was modelled by using PHYRE2 webserver. Theresults showed that no difference was observed when compared those predicted 3D structure of HKTprotein variants with each other. In addition, the codon bias of synonymous substitutions cannot clearlyshow correlation with salt tolerance level. It might be interesting to further investigate the functional roles ofdetected non-synonymous substitutions as it might correlate to salt tolerance in rice.

Embryonic, genetic and clinical outcomes of fresh versus vitrified oocyte: A retrospective cohort study

Objective:To compare embryonic development,ploidy status and clinical outcomes between fresh and frozen-thawed ***:This retrospective cohort study evaluated 83 fertilization cycles including both fresh and frozen oocytes from 79 patients at the HP Fertility Center of Hai Phong International Hospital of Obstetrics and Pediatrics in *** patient underwent several ovarian stimulation cycles to accumulate a certain number of oocytes that would be *** the last oocyte retrieval,all patient’s oocytes including both frozen and fresh would be *** outcomes included the rates of oocyte survival,cleavage embryo,blastocyst,ploidy status,pregnancy,biochemical pregnancy and clinical ***:The oocyte survival rate after thawing was 96.5%.No statistically significant difference was found when comparing fresh and frozen oocytes regarding fertilization rate(78.1%vs.75.5%,P=0.461),usable cleavage embryo rate(86.9%vs.87.2%,P=0.916)but usable blastocyst rate was found higher statistically in the frozen oocyte group(44.4%vs.54.0%,P=0.049).The percentages of euploid,aneuploid and mosaic embryos between the fresh group and the vitrified group had no significant differences(33.8%vs.31.6%,P=0.682;51.0%vs.54.2%,P=0.569;15.2%vs.12.4%,P=0.787;respectively).The rates of pregnancy,biochemical pregnancy and clinical pregnancy had no statistical difference(68.8%vs.64.8%,P=0.764;12.5%vs.3.6%,P=0.258;37.5%vs.46.4%,P=0.565).17 Mature oocytes are the minimum to have at least one euploid ***:Oocyte vitrification does not affect embryonic,genetic and clinical *** number of mature oocytes should be considered for fertilization in some cases.

The COvID-19 pandemic in the ASEAN: A preliminary report on the spread, burden and medical capacities

Objective:To provide preliminary descriptions of the spread,burden and related medical capacity characteristics of the ASEAN ***:We utilized the data from four main official databases,including WHO reports,the Statistics and Research of the Coronavirus Disease,and the Southeast Asia Program of the Center for Strategic and International *** spread of the COvID-19 pandemic,current burden and the COvID-19 medical response capacities were extracted before April 11,***:As of April 13,2020,the ASEAN countries reported19547 COvID-19 positive cases with 817 deaths(case-facility rate of 4.2%).Thailand was the first country in the region that reported having the COvID-19 cases,while Laos was the last to report confirmed COvID-19 *** for the number of deaths to double were between 8-12 *** the testing and treatment capacities,the number of PCR tests provided to the populations was the highest in vietnam,followed by Singapore,Malaysia,and ***,the percentage of the population being tested was the highest in Brunei(2.31%),followed by Singapore(1.30%).Conclusions:A wide range of interventions were taken into practice in response to the outbreak with an effort of curbing the rise of this ***,special care should not be overlooked as the pandemic is placing a huge impact on the population and becomes increasingly *** tackle the spread of the pandemic in the region,the ASEAN countries should work together as one community to provide better responses to future pandemics and other transboundary public health challenges.

Optimum Design for the Magnification Mechanisms Employing Fuzzy Logic-ANFIS

To achieve high work performance for compliant mechanisms of motion scope,continuous work condition,and high frequency,we propose a new hybrid algorithm that could be applied to multi-objective optimum *** this investigation,we use the tools of finite element analysis(FEA)for a magnificationmechanism to find out the effects of design variables on the magnification ratio of the mechanism and then select an optimal mechanism that could meet design requirements.A poly-algorithm including the Grey-Taguchi method,fuzzy logic system,and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system(ANFIS)algorithm,was utilized mainly in this *** FEA outcomes indicated that design variables have significantly affected on magnification ratio of the mechanism and verified by analysis of variance and analysis of the signal to noise of grey relational *** results are also predicted by employing the tool of ANFIS in *** conclusion,the optimal findings obtained:Its magnification is larger than 40 times in comparison with the initial design,the maximum principal stress is 127.89MPa,and the first modal shape frequency obtained 397.45 ***,we found that the outcomes obtained deviation error compared with predicted results of displacement,stress,and frequency are 8.76%,3.6%,and 6.92%,respectively.

Minimizing Warpage for Macro-Size Fused Deposition Modeling Parts

In this study,we investigated warpage and corner lifting minimization for three-dimensional printed parts generated by macro-size fused deposition modeling(FDM).First,the reasons for warpage were theoretically *** approach revealed that the thermal deformation and differential volumetric shrinkage of the extruded molten plastic resulted in warpage of FDM *** addition,low adhesion between the deposited model and the heated or non-heated printing bed may intensify warpage *** a next step,initial small-size and medium-size models were used to identify parameters to manage and minimize warpage in a way that would reduce material consumption and running ***,a macro-size model was built to experimentally investigate and verify the technical solutions to minimize the warpage of FDM *** conclusion,an improved part with reduced warpage was efficiently produced after detailed consideration of thermal effects and adhesion *** exists to widen the application scope of FDM technology in manufacturing for processes like thermoforming that involve mold core fabrication with *** technology,which has applications not only in mechanical engineering but also in related engineering fields,is convenient and could readily be applied to practical manufacturing industries.
