Effect of Combined Vitamin C and Vitamin E Supplementation on Reproductive Performance and Hatching Rate in Japanese Laying Quail

this study was carried out to evaluate the effect of vitE(Vitamin E)supplementation in combination with vitC(Vitamin C)on reproductive performance and hatching rate of Japanese quail at the age of 59-114 days.A total of 132 laying quails were arranged in a completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 4 replicates,each replicate being 9 female quails and 2 male quails at 59 days of *** experimental treatments were as follows:control fed the basal diet(KPCS),E125C75 including KPCS supplemented with 125 mg vitE/kg feed combined with 75 mg vitC/kg feed and E125C125 including KPCS supplemented 125 mg vitE/kg feed combined with 125 mg vitC/kg *** results showed that the highest WG(Weight Gain)was in E125C125(30.32 g)and lowest in E125C75(17.37 g).There were no statistically significant differences between treatments in terms of laying rate,feed conversion ratio,egg mass and egg ***,hatching rate and bodyweight of quails at 1 day of age were significantly different between treatments,the highest was E125C125(74.37%and 7.43 g),followed by E125C75(70.02%and 7.03 g)and the lowest was control(65.89%and 6.82 g).It can be concluded that E125C125 not only improved laying rate but also increased hatching rate and bodyweight of quail chick.

越南城市消费者冲动性购买行为影响因素的实证研究

随着生活水平的提高，消费者需求日益倾向于多元化，其购买潜力日益增大。在日常购物活动中，消费者购买行为越来越不具有计划性和理智性，而冲动性购买现象变得越来越普遍。近70年以来，关于冲动性购买行为的研究积累了较为丰富的研究成果。但以往研究大部分以消费者心理反应机制为研究重点，以营销因素为重点的研究较少，此外，以往的研究主要是对发达国家消费者冲动性购买行为的研究。作为一个拥有8784万人口，在世界各国人口排名第13位的发展中国家，越南是具有庞大购买潜力的市场，但关于该国消费者冲动性购买行为的研究几乎一片空白。本文分析了越南城市消费者冲动性购买行为影响因素，以填补这方面研究的空白。论文主要内容包括首先在对以往研究归纳和总结的基础上，探讨了越南城市消费者冲动性购买行为过程中的影响因素并注重分析营销刺激因素的影响，进而构建了越南城市消费者冲动性购买行为影响因素的理论模型。其次，通过问卷调查方法进行数据的收集，并运用了描述性分析、因子分析、结构方程模型和多群组分析等统计分析方法对数据进行分析。最后，对研究假设进行了验证并提出研究结论与营销建议。本文的研究结果表明：(1)商品特征、促销和购物环境对消费者的冲动性购买欲望均有显著正向影响，而商品特征对其影响作用最大;(2)消费者时间压力与其冲动性购买行为有显著正向影响;(3)消费者当时的可支付能力与消费者冲动性购买欲望和冲动性购买行为有显著正向影响;(4)消费者的冲动性购买倾向越高越容易产生冲动性购买欲望和冲动性购买行为;(5)消费者冲动性购买欲望正向影响消费者的冲动性购买行为;(6)不同性别的消费者的冲动性购买欲望和冲动性买行为存在显著差异，其表现为女性消费者更加容易产生冲动性购买行为，男性消费者与女性消费者更容易受到购物环境的刺激，且女性消费者比男性消费者更容易受到促销活动的刺激;(7)越南消费者倾向于对服装、日用品和食品的冲动性购买。最后结合研究结果和越南消费者冲动性购买行为特征，本文对企业提出了营销建议。

The environmental impact of coastal sand mining activities in Hai Phong city was assessed using ten proposed sustainable criteria for socio-economic development,and ecological and environmental *** ten criteria were developed by the analysis of the Dynamics-Pressure-State-Impact-Response(DPSIR)framework,including one driver and pressure criterion(D and P),seven status and impact criteria(S and I),and two response criteria(R).Each criterion is quantified according to five specific evaluation criteria corresponding to the evaluation score from 1 to *** results of the ten criterion application for environmental impact assessment of coastal mining Hai Phong by weighting show that the areas with economic activities,benthic biodiversity,and coastal ecosystems are most negatively impacted(score 4/5 and 3.5/5).Other subjects suffer low to moderate impacts(score 1/5 to 3/5).The environmental impact of sand mining(2015-2020)is generally moderate(score ranging from 2/5 to 3/5).The set of adjusted criteria can be applied to similar activities in coastal provinces and cities in Vietnam.

Genes that are expressed ubiquitously throughout all developmental stages are thought to be necessary for basic biological or cellular functions. Therefore, determining their biological roles is a great challenge. We identified 4034 of these genes in rice after studying the results of Agilent 44K and Affymetrix meta- anatomical expression profiles. Among 105 genes that were characterized by loss-of-function analysis, 79 were classified as members of gene families, the majority of which were predominantly expressed. Using T-DNA insertional mutants, we examined 43 genes and found that loss of expression of six genes caused developing seedor seedling-defective phenotypes. Of these, three are singletons without similar family members and defective phenotypes are expected from mutations. Phylogenomic analyses integrating genome-wide transcriptome data revealed the functional dominance of three ubiquitously expressed fam- ily genes. Among them, we investigated the function of OsO3g19890, which is involved in ATP generation within the mitochondria during endosperm development. We also created and evaluated functional net- works associated with this gene to understand the molecular mechanism. Our study provides a useful strategy for pheonome analysis of ubiquitously expressed genes in rice.

To the Editor:Recent randomized controlled trials,as well as high-quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses,strongly support the use of corticosteroids in patients with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)who require oxygen support.[1]The use of pulse cor-ticosteroid therapy has been reported in case series and studies,showing significant improvement in patients and a reduction in mortality rate.[2]In this letter,we report the mortality rate among patients with severe COVID-19 receiving pulse corticos-teroids with methylprednisolone(500 mg/day)for≥3 days and≥24 h before intubation(median duration of therapy:3 days)compared with standard of care.

Light field displays comprise three-dimensional （3D） visual information presentation devices capable of providing realistic and full parallax autostereoscopic images. In this letter, the recent advances in the light field displays based on integral imaging （II） and holographic techniques are presented. Several advanced approaches to demonstrate the light field displays including viewing angle enhancement techniques of the II display, a fast hologram generation method using graphics processing unit （GPU） and multiple WRPs, and a holographic microscopy to display the living cells are reported. These methods improve some important constraints of the light field displays and add new features.

Reservoir is an efficient way for flood control and improving all sectors related to water resources in the integrated water resources ***,multiobjective reservoir plays a significant role in the development of a country’s economy especially in developing *** multi-objective reservoirs have conflicts and disputes in flood control and water use,which makes the operator a great challenge in the decision of reservoir *** improved multi-objective reservoir operation,an integrated modeling system has been developed by incorporating a global optimization system(SCE-UA)into a distributed biosphere hydrological model(WEB-DHM)coupled with the reservoir routing *** new integrated modeling system has been tested in the Da River subbasin of the Red River and showed the capability of reproducing observed reservoir inflows and optimizing the multi-objective reservoir ***,the WEB-DHM was calibrated for the inflows to the Hoa Binh Reservoir in the Da ***,the WEB-DHM coupled with the reservoir routing module was tested by simulating the reservoir water level,when using the observed dam outflows as the reservoir ***,the new integrated modeling system was evaluated by optimizing the operation rule of the Hoa Binh Reservoir from 1 June to 28 July 2006,which covered the annual largest flood *** using the optimal rule for the reservoir operation,the annual largest flood peak at downstream control point(Ben Ngoc station)was successfully reduced(by about 2.4 m for water level and 2500 m^(3)·s^(-1) for discharge);while after the simulation periods,the reservoir water level was increased by about 20 m that could supply future water use.

In this study,three-dimensional porous magnesium ferrite/titanium dioxide/reduced graphene oxide(Mg Fe_2O_(4)-GM/TiO_(2)/rGO(MGTG))was successfully synthesized via green and hydrothermal-supported co-precipitation methods using the extract of Garcinia mangostana(***)as a reducing *** characterization results indicate the successful formation of the nano/micro Mg Fe_(2)O_(4)(MFO)and TiO_(2) on the structure of the reduced graphene oxide(rGO),which can also act as efficient support,alleviating the agglomeration of the nano/micro MFO and TiO_(2).The synergic effects of the adsorption and photodegradation activity of the material were investigated according to the removal of crystal violet(CV)under ultraviolet *** effects of catalyst dosage,CV concentration,and p H on the CV removal efficiency of the MGTG were also *** to the results,the CV photodegradation of the MGTG-200 corresponded to the pseudo-first-order kinetic *** reusability of the material after 10 cycles also showed a removal efficiency of 92%.this happened because the materials can easily be recollected using external *** addition,according to the effects of different free radicals·O_(2)^(-),h^(+),and·OH on the photodegradation process,the photocatalysis mechanism of the MGTG was also thoroughly *** antibacterial efficiency of the MGTG was also evaluated according to the inhibition of the Gram-positive bacteria strain Staphylococcus aureus(***).Concurrently,the antibacterial mechanism of the fabricated material was also *** results confirm that the prepared material can be potentially employed in a wide range of applications,including wastewater treatment and antibacterial activity.
