Assessment of the Quality of Frozen-Thawed Semen or Epididymal Sperm in Three Native Vietnamese Pig Breeds

Our aim was to evaluate the quality of ejaculated and epididymal frozen-thawed pig sperm of endangered Vietnam native pig breeds. Ejaculated sperm was collected from live boars and epididymal sperm was collected from slaughtered boars of the MuongTe, Kieng Sat and Co BinhThuan breeds and frozen in 0.25 ml straws using a protocol established earlier for modern pig breeds. We evaluated the sperm quality after thawing in terms of motility and rates of viable and abnormal spermatozoa. Our results revealed that the sperm motility and rates of viable and abnormal frozen-thawed sperm were >30%, >44%, and leavage, blastocyst and hatching rates than did the epididymal sperm (60.11% vs 56.02%, 17.23% vs 14.31%, 3.78% vs 2.34%, respectively, P leavage rate, blastocyst formation rate and the average number of cells/blastocysts, the hatching blastocyst rate was different between the breeds (P > 0.05). In the Co BinhThuan breed, the rate of pregnancy of ejaculated groups was similar to that of the epididymal group. In conclusion, the ejaculated and epididymal sperm of native Vietnamese pigs were successfully frozen. We succeeded in creating embryos in vitro and pregnant pigs after artificial insemination from frozen-thawed semen in three native Vietnamese pig breeds for the first time. The use of the ejaculated sperm improved the production of native pig embryos in vitro efficiency.

In recent years,the detection of fake job descriptions has become increasingly necessary because social networking has changed the way people access burgeoning information in the internet *** fraud in job descriptions can help jobseekers to avoid many of the risks of job ***,the problem of detecting fake job descriptions comes up against the problem of class imbalance when the number of genuine jobs exceeds the number of fake *** causes a reduction in the predictability and performance of traditional machine learning *** therefore present an efficient framework that uses an oversampling technique called FJD-OT(Fake Job Description Detection Using Oversampling Techniques)to improve the predictability of detecting fake job *** the proposed framework,we apply several techniques including the removal of stop words and the use of a tokenizer to preprocess the text data in the first *** then use a bag of words in combination with the term frequency-inverse document frequency(TF-IDF)approach to extract the features from the text data to create the feature dataset in the second ***,our framework applies k-fold cross-validation,a commonly used technique to test the effectiveness of machine learning models,that splits the experimental dataset[the Employment Scam Aegean(ESA)dataset in our study]into training and test sets for *** training set is passed through the third module,an oversampling module in which the SVMSMOTE method is used to balance data before training the classifiers in the last *** experimental results indicate that the proposed approach significantly improves the predictability of fake job description detection on the ESA dataset based on several popular performance metrics.

This paper provides insight into the wing kinematics,the power requirement and the dynamic stability characteristics of a hawkmoth model in vertically ascending *** wing kinematics of the hawkmoth model is obtained based on the minimum required power *** optimization process is conducted using genetic and simplex algorithms that are coupled with an artificial neural network to rapidly predict the aerodynamic force and required *** training data for the neural network are generated from an unsteady vortex-lattice *** to hover,the results in this study show the larger flapping frequency and the smaller rotation amplitude of the hawkmoth wing kinematics in ascending ***,more power is required when the ascending speed *** conducting a dynamic modal analysis based on a cycle-average approach,the certain effect of the ascending speed on the modal structures of the hawkmoth model was observed.

Nanowires/nanorods of europium/terbium orthophosphate monohydrate with Eu^3＋ concentration of 6, 11, and 20 at.% were prepared by microwave synthesis method. The effects of Eu^3＋ doping concentration on structure, morphology and optical properties of nanomaterials were also investigated. The results showed that, for all studied Eu^3＋ doping concentrations, a single-crystalline phase of rhabdophane-type （Eu,Tb）PO4·H2O nanowires/nanorods was obtained by using microwave heating of an aqueous solution of terbium（Ⅲ） nitrate, europium（Ⅲ） nitrate and NH4H2PO4 with pH=2. The length and width of these nanowires/nanorods ranged from 150 to 300 nm and from 10 to 50 nm, respectively. The evidence of energy transfer from Tb^3＋ to Eu^3＋ due to the energy overlap between the donor Tb^3＋ and the acceptor Eu^3＋was observed obviously via a significant enhancement in the luminescent intensity of Eu^3＋. Collagen provides tissue strength and structural *** fication of the orientated dispersion of collagen fibers is an important factor when studying the mechanical properties of the *** this study,for the first time,a new method for rapid characterization of the collagen fiber orientations of the cervix using linearly polarized light colposcopy is presented.A total of 24 colposcopic images were captured using a cross-polarized imaging system with white leD light *** the preprocessing stage,the Red channel of the RGB image was chosen,which contains no information of the blood vessels because of the low-absorption of blood cells in the red ***,which is an ImageJ plug-in,was used to estimate the local orientation of the collagen *** result shows that in the nonpregnant cervix,the middle zone(Zone 2)has circumferentially aligned collagen fibers while the inner zone(Zone 1)has randomly *** collagen fiber dispersion in Zone 2 is much smaller than that in Zone 1 at all four quadrants region(anterior,posterior,left,and right quadrant).This new analysis technique could potentially combine with diagnostic tools to provide a quantitative platform of collagen fibers in the clinic.

In the present study,the biogenic silver nanoparticles have been synthesized using aqueous leaf extract of Plectranthus amboinicus(PA),which acted as both reducing and stabilizing *** PA synthesized silver nanoparticles were blended with carboxymethyl cellulose/polyvinyl alcohol(CMC/PVA)*** prepared AgNPs as well as the biogenic AgNPs incorporated CMC/PVA films were investigated using UV-visible spectrophotometry,Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),dynamic light scattering(DLS),scanning electron microscope(SEM),and X–ray diffraction(XRD).The DLS results showed that biogenic AgNPs had the average particle size of 65.70 nm with polydispersity index of *** surface plasmon resonance of AgNPs,which was determined by UV-vis spectrophotometry,showed the value of 410.00 *** results therefore confirmed the reduction Ag+into Ag°and the formation of AgNPs in the *** SEM imaging showed that AgNPs was quasi-spherical and *** XRD peaks at 33.07°,44.19°,64.58°and 77.47°confirmed the crystalline nature and presence of *** CMC/PVA films that incorporated with AgNPs displayed best mechanical strength and morphological properties than the pure CMC/PVA *** film of CMC/PVA-AgNPs exhibited significant antibacterial activities against Bacillus spizizenii,Staphylococcus aureus,Salmonella typhi and Escherichia Coli.

In this study,we reported on the concept and practical use of cation exchange resin(CER)for removing anions in water via pretreating the CER with metal *** cation exchange resinsupported iron and magnesium oxides/hydroxides composite(FeMg/CER)was synthesized and introduced as a new and potential adsorbent for selective removal of nitrate ion in the water *** of FeMg/CER were determined by techniques such as Fouriertransform infrared spectroscopy,scanning electron microscopy,and Xray *** results showed that FeMg/CER material had a high nitrate adsorption capacity of 200 mg NO_(3)^()·g^(1)with a fast equilibrium adsorption time of 30 min at pH *** addition,it had good durability of at least 10 times of regeneration,which could be applied to practical water and wastewater treatment.
