Background:Hard mineral and acid salt deposits that clump together in concentrated urine are known as kidney stones.A complicated chain of physicochemical events,including hyper saturation,nucleation,growth,aggrega-tion,and retention in the urinary tract,leads to urolithiasis,the third most prevalent urinary tract *** traditional medications and therapies are less successful in treating urolithiasis and frequently cause ***:The present study is focused on evaluating the anti-urolithiasis activities of the polyherbal formulation prepared from Spinacia oleracea *** Coriandrum sativum ***:To evaluating the anti-urolithiasis activities of the polyherbal formulation prepared from *** and *** seeds against oxalate crystals by employing an in vitro inhibition,aggregation,and nucleation assay,employing a spectrophotometer followed by microscopic observation,and further monitored by egg semiperme-able membrane model,using cystone as a standard ***:In the present work,the alkaloids,glycosides,flavonoids,glycosides,phenols,saponins,steroids,tannins,terpenoids,and triterpenoids were found in the extracts of *** and *** in vitro assays in the present study clearly indicated that all the mixture extracts readily prevented crystal nucleation,growth and *** aqueous extract of the mixture inhibited significant inhibitory potential against the crystallization ***:It can be said that the phyto-constituents enriched homemade preparation possibly will be used as a medication for the management of kidney stones by dissolving the oxalate stone in the kidney.

In a nuclear powerplant,the rotary equipment,such as a pump directly fitted with hanger in the piping system,experiences torsional and bending *** crack growth rate occurs because of this torsional load in addition to the bending ***,it is necessary to study the fatigue behavior of piping components under the influence of combined torsional and bending *** this study,experimental fatigue life evaluation was conducted on a notched stainless steel SA312 Type 304LN straight pipe having an outer diameter of 170 *** experimental crack depth was measured using alternating current potential drop *** fatigue life of the stainless steel straight pipe was predicted using experiments,Delale and Erdogan method,and area-averaged root mean square-stress intensity factor approach at the deepest and surface points of the ***,the fatigue crack growth and crack pattern were *** a result,fatigue crack growth predicted using analytical methods are in good agreement with experimental results.

Stability of three-dimensional printable foam concrete as function of surfactant characteristics

Extrudability is one of the most critical factors when designing three-dimensional printable foam *** extrusion process likely affects the foam stability which necessitates the investigation into surfactant properties particularly for concrete mixes with high foam *** many studies have been conducted on traditional foam concrete in this context,studies on three-dimensional printed foam concrete are *** address this research gap,the effects of surfactant characteristics on the stability,extrudability,and buildability of three-dimensional printed foam concrete mixes with two design densities(1000 and 1300 kg/m^(3))using two different surfactants and stabilizers(synthetic-based sodium lauryl sulfate stabilized with carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt,and natural-based hingot surfactant stabilized with xanthan gum)were investigated in this *** density tests were conducted before and after the extrusion to determine stability of the foam *** results were then correlated with surfactant qualities,such as viscosity and surface tension,to understand the importance of key parameters in three-dimensional printing of foam *** on the experimental results,surfactant solu1tion with viscosity exceeding 5 m Pa·s and surface tension lower than 31 mN/m was recommended to yield stable three-dimensional printable foam concrete ***,the volume of foam in the mix significantly affected the printability *** traditional foam concrete,the variation in the stabilizer concentration and density of concrete were found to have insignificant effect on the fresh-state-characteristics(slump,slump flow,and static yield stress)and air void microstructure of the stable mixes.

The exchange of information between transmission system operators(TSOs)and distribution system operators(DSOs)is a common ***,the evolution of the regulatory frameworks in Europe has increased the need for enhancing TSO-DSO data exchange and *** paper provides an overview of the TSO-DSO data exchanges and demonstrates the best practices using International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC)common information model(CIM),including the implementation of IEC common grid model exchange standard(CGMES),and discussion of the corresponding advantages,disadvantages,and ***,this paper evaluates and reports the activities already carried out within European projects,with particular focus on TSO-DSO ***,this paper concludes the need for TSOs and DSOs to rely on standard-based solutions when performing TSO-DSO data exchange,which enables the efficient operation and development of the future power systems.

Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy Regulator Design for Nonlinear and Unstable Systems Using Negative Absolute Eigenvalue Approach

This paper introduces a Takagi-Sugeno(T-S)fuzzy regulator design using the negative absolute eigenvalue(NAE)approach for a class of nonlinear and unstable *** open-loop system is initially embodied by the traditional T-S fuzzy model and then,all closed-loop subsystems are combined using the proposed Max-Min operator in place of traditional weighted average operator from the controller side to lessen the coupling virtually and simplify the proposed regulator *** each virtually decoupled closed-loop subsystem,the composite regulators(i.e.,primary and secondary regulators)are designed by the NAE approach based on the enhanced eigenvalue *** Lyapunov function is utilized to guarantee the asymptotic stability of the overall T-S fuzzy control *** most popular and widely used nonlinear and unstable systems like the electromagnetic levitation system(EMLS)and the inverted cart pendulum(ICP)are simulated for the wide range of the initial conditions and the enormous variation in the *** transient and steady-state performance of the considered systems using the proposed design are analyzed in terms of the decay rate,settling time and integral errors as IAE,ISE,ITAE,and ITSE to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach compared to the most popular and traditional parallel distributed compensation(PDC)approach.

Computational Fluid Dynamics Study of a Compound Flow Field for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell(PEMFC) Performance Enhancement

The aim of the present work is to evaluate proton exchange membrane(PEM) fuel cell performance with a modified serpentine flow field with right angle turn by numerical modeling. A 3-D PEM fuel cell model of size 50 cm^(2) active area is developed. A conventional serpentine flow field is modified and the same is considered for the supply of reactants. Computational fluid dynamics(CFD) based simulations were conducted to analyse the pressure drop, distribution of reactants(H_(2) and O_(2)), liquid water activity, current flux density and water content in the membrane. From the simulation results, polarization curve is drawn to validate the literature data of PEMFC with the conventional serpentine flow field. Comparison of simulated polarization curve with literature data revealed that modified serpentine flow field performance is better than conventional serpentine flow field as it offers better water exclusion and uniform sharing of reactants. From this study, it is concluded that model of flow field pattern influences the functioning of fuel cell and utmost care must take while selecting a pattern for flow field of PEM fuel cell.

Accurate diagnosis of Pancreatic cysts(PC) is key in the management. The knowledge of indications for surgery, the role of endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration, cyst fluid analysis, imaging, and surveillance of PC are all important in the diagnosis and management of PC. Currently, there are many guidelines for the management of PC. The optimal use of these guidelines with a patient-centered approach helps diagnose early cancer and prevent the spread of cancer.

Spectroscopy of light N~* baryons

We present the masses of N baryons up to 3300 MeV. The radial and orbital excited states are determined using hypercentral constituent quark model with the first-order correction. The obtained masses are compared with the experimental results and other theoretical predictions. The Regge trajectories are also determined in(n, M^2) and(J, M^2) planes. Moreover, the magnetic moments with J^p =(1^+/2,1^-/2) are calculated. We also calculates the Nπ decay width of excited nucleons.

Decomposition of trifluoromethane in a dielectric barrier discharge non-thermal plasma reactor

The decomposition of trifluoromethane （CHF3） was carried out using non-thermal plasma generated in a dielectric barrier discharge （DBD） reactor. The effects of reactor temperature, electric power, initial concentration and oxygen content were examined. The DBD reactor was able to completely destroy CHF3 with alumina beads as a packing material. The decomposition efficiency increased with increasing electric power and reactor temperature. The destruction of CHF3 gradually increased with the addition of O2 up to 2%, but further increase in the oxygen content led to a decrease in the decomposition efficiency. The degradation pathways were explained with the identified by-products. The main by-products from CHF3 were found to be COF2, CF4, CO2 and CO although the COF2 and CF4 disappeared when the plasma were combined with alumina catalyst.
