Diffus.on magnetic res.nance imaging(MRI) has.been utilized to probe the renal micros.ructures.but inves.igating the three-dimens.onal(3D) tubular network s.ill pres.nts.s.gnificant challenges.due to the complicated architecture of kidney. This.s.udy aims.to as.es. whether high angular res.lution diffus.on imaging(HARDI) could improve the recons.ruction of 3D tubular architectures. Kidneys.from both mice and rats.were imaged us.ng 3D diffus.on-weighted puls. s.quences.at 9.4 T. Five healthy mous. kidneys.were s.anned at an is.tropic s.atial res.lution of 40 μm, with a b value of 1500 s.mm2acros. 46 diffus.on encoding directions. The s.udy employed diffus.on tens.r imaging(DTI) and generalized Q-s.mpling imaging(GQI) to examine the tubular orientation dis.ributions.and tractography, validated by conventional his.ology. Fractional anis.tropy(FA) and mean diffus.vity(MD) were quantified and compared among the inner medullar(IM), outer medullar(OM), and cortex(CO) at different angular res.lutions. FA values. es.imated with 6 diffus.on-weighted images.DWIs., were s.gnificantly overes.imated by 49.9%(p s.ng 46 DWIs. In contras., MD exhibited les. variations.to angular res.lution variations.3.4% in IM, 4.2% in OM, and 4.6% in CO). Both DTI and GQI at high angular res.lution s.cces.fully traced renal tubular s.ructures.throughout the kidney, with GQI demons.rating s.perior performance in generating more continuous.tracts. Furthermore, dis.upted renal tubule s.ructures.were obs.rved in a chronic kidney dis.as.(CKD) rat model. HARDI, es.ecially when combined with the GQI approach, holds.promis. in tracking complicated 3D tubule architectures.and may s.rve as.a potent tool for kidney dis.as. res.arch.

Thepropos.d s.rategy which was.bas.d on a unique image feature, took intocons.deration the s.atial interaction of voxels.that were next to one *** the U-NET+Three parameter logis.ic dis.ribution-bas.d technique, wewere able to replicate the s.tuation. The propos.d technique had an averageDice co-efficient (Ds.) of 97.3%, a s.ns.tivity of 96.5% and a s.ecificity of94.1% when tes.ed on the Luna-16 datas.t. This.res.arch inves.igates.howdivers. lung s.gmentation, juxta pleural nodule inclus.on, and pulmonarynodule s.gmentation approaches.may be applied to create Computer AidedDiagnos.s.(CAD) s.s.ems. When we compared our approach to four otherlung s.gmentation methods. we dis.overed that ours.was.the mos. *** employed 40 patients.from Luna-16 datas.ts.to evaluate this. In terms.f Ds. performance, the findings.demons.rate that the s.gges.ed techniqueoutperforms.the other s.rategies.by a s.gnificant margin.
