Unusual Giant Pre-Sacral Multicystic Schwannoma: A Case Report and Differential Diagnosis

Background: Schwannomas are gene.ally benign neoplasms arising from the nerve sheath. Presacral schwannomas are very rare entities and difficult to diagnose, representing less than 15% of all retrorectal space tumors. Benign schwannoma sometimes displays degenerative changes, such as cyst formation, calcification, hemorrhage, and hyalinization. Usually these degenerations are partially seen in the tumors. Objective: To point out that presacral schwannoma can display markedly multilocular cystic degeneration. Case Report: We present this unique case of a 24-year-old man diagnosed with an unusually large pure multilocular cystic schwannoma, which is revealed by digestive, urinary, and nonspecific neurological symptoms. The patient was successfully treated with radical surgery via an anterior approach leading to the recovery of symptoms. Discussion and Conclusion: This tumor was unusual in its totally multicystic appearance and its resemblance to a wide spectrum of lesions that can occur in the pre-sacral space, such as hydatid and developmental cysts. Preoperative diagnosis is essential to prevent major neurological deficits during surgical intervention.

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)are ubiquitous environmental contaminants of growing concern due to their potential ecological and human health *** study presents a comprehensive assessment of PAHs contamination in the surface sediments of Burullus Lake,a vital and second largest delta lake in *** aim was to evaluate the eco-toxicity and potential health risks associated with the presence of these *** seven sediment samples were collected from various drains in the southern part of Burullus *** extraction method was employed to extract PAHs(16PAHs)from the sediment ***,target compounds were located using *** results showed that samples contained PAHs levels ranging from 0.038×10^(-6)to 0.459×10^(-6),which is considered heavily polluted by the European standard for PAHs ***,there was no apparent source of PAHs in the ElKhashah drain or the Brinbal Canal,as HPLC found none of the *** most prevalent compound in sediment samples along the study area was *** diagnostic indices in the present study indicated that the hydrocarbons in the region originated from pyrolytic and man-made sources along the drains of Burullus *** principal component analysis(PCA)and diagnostic ratios revealed that coal combustion and pyrolytic sources were responsible for the PAHs contamination in the surface *** non-carcinogenic risk(HI),which is the product of the HQs for the adult and child populations,respectively,was *** values under 1,therefore,demonstrated that they had no carcinogenic effects on human *** and MEQs in the sediments of Burullus Lake do not have a cancer-causing impact on *** the safety of nearby wildlife,aquatic life,and people,all activities that raise petroleum hydrocarbon levels in Burullus Lake must be adequately regulated and *** to the ecological risk assessment,there is little chance that PAHs will be found

Aquatic fungi are common in various aqueous environments and play potentially crucial roles in nutrient and carbon cycling as well as interacting with other organisms. Species of Aspergillus are the most common fungi that occur in water. The present study was undertaken to elucidate the efficacy of two coagulants, aluminum sulfate and ferric chloride, used at different concentrations to treat drinking water, in removing Aspergillusflavus, as well as testing three different filtration media： sand, activated carbon, and ceramic granules, for their removal of fungi from water. The results revealed that both coagulants were effective in removing fungi and decreasing the turbidity of drinking water, and turbidity decreased with increasing coagulant concentration. also, at the highest concentration of the coagulants, A. flavus was decreased by 99.6% in the treated water. Among ceramic granules, activated carbon, and sand used as media for water filtration, the sand and activated carbon filters were more effective in removing *** than ceramic granules while simultaneously decreasing the turbidity levels in the test water samples. Post-treatment total organic carbon （TOC） and total nitrogen （TN） concentrations in the experimental water did not decrease; on the contrary, TN concentrations increased with the increasing dosage of coagulants. The filtration process had no effect in reducing TOC and TN in tested water.

In this paper,we present the analysis of the stellar system HIP 101227 to determine the actual number of components in the system,and their *** use dynamical modeling and complex spectrophotometric(involving atmospheric modeling)techniques with recent data,to determine the physical properties and orbital solution for the system,respectively,with better accuracy than past *** on our analysis,we found that the system is more consistent with being a quadruple rather than a binary or a triple system as suggested by previous *** total mass of the system determined from our SED analysis is 3.42±0.20 M,which is distributed almost equally between the four *** stars are found to be zero-age main sequence stars;i.e.,at the last stage of pre-main sequence,with age less than 200 Myr and spectral types *** four stars have very similar physical characteristics,suggesting that the fragmentation process is the most likely theory for the formation and evolution of the system.

We present the physical and geometrical parameters of the individual components of the close visual double-lined spectroscopic binary system Gliese 762.1, which were estimated using al-Wardat＇s complex method for analyzing close visual binary systems. The estimated parameters of the individual components of the system are as follows： radius RA= 0.845±0.09R⊙, RB= 0.795±0.10R⊙, effective temperature Teff^A = 5300luminosity±50 K, Teff^B= 5150 L±50 K, surface gravity log gA= 4.52±0.10, log gB=4.54±0.15 and A= 0.51 with a semi-major axis of 0.0865±0.08L⊙, LB= 0.40±0.07L⊙. new orbital elements are presented±0.010 arcsec using the Hippracos parallax π = 58.96 ndividual masses of the system are determined as M = 1.±0.65 mas, and an accurate total mass and i72±0.60 M⊙,MA= 0.89±0.08 M⊙and MB= 0.83 K0 V and±0.07 M⊙. Finally, the spectral types and luminosity classes of both components are assigned as K1.5V for the primary and secondary components respectively,and their positions on the H-R diagram and evolutionary tracks are given.

The projects which are carried out in different fields are usually accompanied by some *** delays have many consequences,including extra costs and losses for interested *** might lead to dispute among those who are involved in the *** thesis aims to identify the causes of delay in carrying out the oil and gas construction projects in *** reason behind the selection of this subject is the huge costs and losses which are imposed on our country following delays in carrying out oil,gas,and petrochemical *** main point is to predict and remove obstacles which lead to delay in projects'*** research method comprised interviews with experts for the purpose of identifying the most important factors leading to time overruns.A questionnaire based on the outcome of the interviews together with the relevant factors mentioned in the construction literature was sent to a sample of 100 practitioners to elect the most important factors that cause *** reveal that the top delay factors are:Poor site management and supervision by contractor,Improper construction methods implemented by contractor,Wrong distribution of project equipment,Poor coordination between the consultant and other parties in the project,Ineffectiveness of monitoring the progress of the project,Poor distribution of workers on site,Inefficient planning and scheduling of the project,System requirements for oil companies to choose the lowest bid,Equipment is disrupted from on-site work and failure of the consultant staff to maintain the official term.

Objective:To identify and to determine the antimicrobial susceptibility of Acinetobacter baumannii(***) clinical isolates from ICU at Aseer Central ***:The study was conducted in the Intensive Care Unit,Aseer Central Hospital,Saudi Arabia over 13 months period(2014-2015).Acinetobacter species(n= 105) were isolated from various clinical *** were identified using selected phenotypic criteria and confirmed using the Vitek 2 automated *** system was used to determine the susceptibilities of 21 antimicrobial ***,isolates and drug data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical software package to determine some epidemiological and microbiological ***:Of the 105 stains,*** accounted for 49(46.67%),*** complex,19(18.09%),***/haemolyticus 32(30.47),Acinetobacter haemolyticus 4(3.81%),Acinetobater lwoffii 1(0.95%) and unidentified Acinetobater species 2(1.3%).Of the 105 Acinetobacter strains,103(98.1%) were found multidrug resistant(MDR).*** strain were 100% sensitive to colistin and 74.5% to trimethoprim + *** remaining 19 antimicrobial agents revealed low or no sensitivities:amikacin 16.3%; ampicillin 7.7%; ceftazidime 7.3%.Distribution of similar sensitivities was shown by other Acinetobacter *** number of isolates from males and females indicates no statistical variation(P=0.867) whereas age groups showed significant differences(P= 0.008) as it is clear from the high percentage of infected individuals more than 60 years followed by those aged 20 to 29 years old(19.05%).Upper respiratory tract(30.48%),lower respiratory tract(47.65%) and subcutaneous tissue(9.5%) were the main sources of Acinetobacter *** mean numbers of isolates from these specimens indicate no discrepancy between specimens(P=0.731).Conclusions:Acinetobacterspecies including *** were found MDR(98.1%) according to the current Acinetobacter *** categorization.A
