The bentonite was modified using Ca-bentonite as a matrix and octadecyl/ hexndecyl ammonium chloride as the cover agent, based on hydrothermal process. The organic gel with 5.0 Pa· s viscosity was synthesized by dispersing it into the dimethyl benzene- methyl alcohol system fully. The optimum process conditions for organic modification were that the coating agent dosage is 22g/ L, reaction time is 90 minutes and the pH value of pulp is 10. X-ray diffraction （ XRD ） analysis indicates that the d （001） value of the modified bentonite is 20. 532 A. The influence of gel temperature on its viscosity characteristic was studied. By analyzing the transmssion electron microscopy （TEM） images and observing the dispersed gel, the nanometer effect of the organic gel was discussed.

In this study,anti-spermatogenesis-associated 17 (Spatal7) polyclonal antibody was preparedby immunizing New Zealand white rabbits with a synthesized peptide corresponding to the amino acid se-quence 7-23 of the mouse Spata17 *** analysis revealed that Spata17 proteinwas most abundant in the cytoplasm of round spermatids and elongating spermatids within seminiferoustubules of the adult *** expression of Spata17 mRNA in cultured mouse spermatogonia (GC-1) cellswas almost *** an experimental unilateral cryptorchidism model of an adult mouse,the expres-sion of Spata17 mRNA had no obvious difference with the normal testis until postoperation day 1,butgradually decreased from day 3 and was almost undetectable on day *** analysisrevealed that the protein was almost undetectable within seminiferous tubules of an experimental unilateralcryptorchidism model of the adult testis on postoperation day *** cytometry analysis showed that theexpression of Spatal7 protein in the GC-1 cell line could accelerate GC-1 cell *** effect increaseswith the increasing of the transfected dose of pcDNA3.1 (-)/*** Hoechst 33258 staining,a classicalway of identifying apoptotic cells,we further confirmed that the apoptosis was induced by expression ofSpata17 in transfected GC-1 cells.

Numerical analysis and simulation have been an effective means to develop the advanced growth technology and to control the defects type, size and density for silicon crystals of 300 mm and beyond. In the present paper, numerical analysis of the melt flow in the Czochralski （CZ） crystal growth configuration, the three dimensional （3D） modeling, the simulation of melt flow under the magnetic field, the inverse modeling and the time-dependent simulation are reviewed. Finally, comparison of numerical analysis with experimental measurements is discussed.

The fabrication of accurate prototype from CAD model directly in short time depends on the accurate tracking control and reference trajectory planning in (Laminated Object Manufacture) LOM application. An improvement on contour accuracy is acquired by the introduction of a tracking controller and a trajectory generation policy. A model of the X-Y positioning system of LOM machine is developed as the design basis of tracking controller. The ZPETC (Zero Phase Error Tracking Controller) is used to eliminate single axis following error, thus reduce the contour error. The simulation is developed on a Maltab model based on a retrofitted LOM machine and the satisfied result is acquired.

Enantioselectivity of chiral pollutants is receiving growing concern due to the difference in toxicology and environment fate between *** this study,enantiomers of insecticide beta-cypermethrin （beta-CP） were separated on selected chiral column by HPLC,and the toxicity of enantiomers was evaluated using the zebrafish embryo-larval *** enantiomers of beta-CP were baseline separated on Chiralcel OD and Chiralpak AD columns and detected by circular dichroism （CD） at 236 *** separation could be achieved at lower temperature （e.g.,20°C） and with lower levels of polar *** enantiomers were obtained on Chiralcel *** CD spectra of enantiomers were *** comparing the elution order with a previous similar study,the absolute configuration of beta-CP enantiomers was *** individual enantiomers were used in zebrafish embryo test,and the results showed that beta-CP enantioselectively induced yolk sac edema,pericardial edema and crooked *** 1R-cis-αS and 1R-trans-αS enantiomers showed strong developmental toxicities at concentration of 0.1 mg/L,while the 1S-cis-αR and 1S-trans-αR induced no malformations at higher concentration （e.g.,0.3 mg/L）.The results suggest that the enantioselective toxicological effects of beta-CP should be considered when evaluating its ecotoxicological effects.

In view of the diversity and complexity of mechanical parameters of roller compacted concrete dam(RCCD),the uniform design method,partial least-squares regression(PLS)and least squares support vector machine(LSSVM)were applied to the back analysis of RCCD with the use of the complex nonlinear relationship between dam mechanical parameters and dam *** the process of back analysis,the initial samples of parameters were designed with uniform design ***,a transversely isotropic model of RCCD was established by *** *** this model,training samples of LSSVM model could be *** then,the complex nonlinear relationship between relative values of hydraulic components of dam displacements and mechanical parameters was ***,actual relative values of dam hydraulic components are isolated from the measured data of dam displacements by using *** inputting the isolated relative values into LSSVM model,the back analysis values of RCCD mechanical parameters can be *** example analysis showed that mechanical parameters obtained by the above-mentioned back analysis method are reasonable,and the back analysis method is feasible.

The modern multi-channel cochlear implants usually extract and encode the temporal envelope cues. This kind of algorithms can hardly satisfy the users who speak tonal languages, such as Mandarin. Many studies have tried to enhance the recognition ability of Mandarin through encoding tonal information and made suggestions to frequency-modulate the fixed pulse-rate carrier with the extracted tonal information based on the rate-pitch theory in electric hearing. However, how to encode and deliver the tonal information such as F_0by changing electric-stimulus rate has not got further study in clinical electric-stimulus mode. The present paper focuses on this matter by piecewise calculating the appreciable electric-stimulus rates. Then an electric-stimulus encoding algorithm of Mandarin tone is brought forward and testified through acoustic simulations. Such conclusion can be drawn that this algorithm of electric-stimulus rate could convey tonal information well and help to enhance the Mandarin speech recognition ability.

Recently, black phosphorus （BP） has joined the two-dimensional material family as a promising candidate for elec- tronic and photonic applications due to its moderate bandgap, high carrier mobility, and unusual in-plane anisotropy. Here, we review recent progress in BP-based devices, such as field-effect transistors, contact resistance, quantum transport, stabil- ity, photodetector, heterostructure, and in-plane anisotropy. We also give our perspectives on future BP research directions.
