Background:Adult stem cells have a remarkable capacity of differentiating into various cell types necessary for tissue and organ *** studies have focused on the differentiation potential of mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs),however little is known about the molecular characteristics of MSCs and their progenies obtained from donors of different *** this study,we analyzed publicly available sequencing data obtained from young(~22-year-old,n=8)and older(~65.5-year-old,n=8)donors of MSCs and their differentiated counterparts:osteocytes,chondrocytes and *** raw mRnA and small RnA(non-coding RnA)sequencing data was downloaded from nIH BioProjects and systematically analyzed in order to identify uniquely expressed genes in MSC-derived osteocytes,chondrocytes and tenocytes of younger and older ***:We identified many commonly up-and downregulated genes are similar in both ***,the young group displayed a greater variety of differentially expressed genes in all analyzed MSC-derived *** discrepancy in gene expression profiles between younger and older groups may indicate a greater differentiation potential of MSCs isolated from younger *** and mRnA integrated analysis showed key miRnAs that regulate mRnAs in both groups from all differentiated ***:Our analysis provides additional information to previously reported data for identification of MSC markers of plasticity and *** addition,our data may shed light upon the molecular mechanisms of age-associated musculoskeletal diseases caused by a decreased capacity of MSCs to regenerate the locomotor system in elderly people.

提出了基于前端发生器和终端放大器,使用光泵浦XeF（C-A）激活介质的太瓦级混合激光器（THL-100）系统。前端发生器由长532 nm的连续激光泵浦的钛宝石飞秒脉冲振荡器,脉冲展宽机构,532 nm的脉冲激光泵浦的再生多通道放大器,衍射光栅压缩器和二次谐波发生器（KDP）组成。其光束输出参数为：脉冲持续时间50 fs,二次谐波（475 nm）辐射能量5 mJ。前端发生器以10 Hz的单脉冲模式工作。XeF（C-A）放大器由双高压脉冲发生器（线性变压器）,爆炸式阴极发射真空二极管,电子束注入系统,充满Xe的气室转换器和激光单元组成。高压发生器包括12个变压器,每个变压器有8个电容（40 nF）和火花隙,电容可以充电至100 kV。真空二极管中的电子束参数为：总电流300 kA,峰值电压550kV,脉冲持续时间约150 ns。穿透金属箔片到达Xe转换器的6个100 cm×12 cm电子束的总能量为67 kJ。激光系统通过泵浦能量的级联处理导致Xe2＊的快速形成,并在（172±5）nm连续辐射。真空紫外辐射通过CaF2窗口辐射到含有XeF2蒸汽和氮气缓冲气体的激光单元中,使XeF2光解,形成XeF＊准分子。由真空紫外辐射泵浦的放大器激活介质长110 cm,直径为24 cm。文中通过数值模拟给出了输出参数和第一实验结果,根据XeF（C-A）放大器参数模型和增益测量结果,得到的输出能量高达23 J,这意味着50 fs脉冲的峰值功率高达4060 TW。

Simulation of erosion-deposition processes at basin scale by a physically-based mathematical model

The development and application of the physically-based and spatially-distributed mathematical model CTSS8-SED is presented. The model simulates hydrologic-hydraulic processes produced by storm events and related soil erosion and sediment transport processes at basin scale in lowland areas. The model simulates (i) storm runoff,(ii) soil detachment by raindrop impact and overland flow (gross sediment yield),(iii) sediment transport by overland flow and associated erosion-deposition processes and (iv) sediment transport by stream flow and riverbed erosion-deposition processes. A quasi two-dimensional representation of water flow and sediment transport routing is made by means of interconnected cells approach. The model is applied to simulate two flooding events in the Luduea Creek basin (Santa Fe, Argentina) occurred in April 1994 and March 2007 due to extraordinary rainfalls.

Rate Constitutive Theories of Orders n and 1n for Internal Polar non-Classical Thermofluids without Memory

In recent papers, Surana et al. presented internal polar non-classical Continuum theory in which velocity gradient tensor in its entirety was incorporated in the conservation and balance laws. Thus, this theory incorporated symmetric part of the velocity gradient tensor (as done in classical theories) as well as skew symmetric part representing varying internal rotation rates between material points which when resisted by deforming continua result in dissipation (and/or storage) of mechanical work. This physics referred as internal polar physics is neglected in classical continuum theories but can be quite significant for some materials. In another recent paper Surana et al. presented ordered rate constitutive theories for internal polar non-classical fluent continua without memory derived using deviatoric Cauchy stress tensor and conjugate strain rate tensors of up to orders n and Cauchy moment tensor and its conjugate symmetric part of the first convected derivative of the rotation gradient tensor. In this constitutive theory higher order convected derivatives of the symmetric part of the rotation gradient tensor are assumed not to contribute to dissipation. Secondly, the skew symmetric part of the velocity gradient tensor is used as rotation rates to determine rate of rotation gradient tensor. This is an approximation to true convected time derivatives of the rotation gradient tensor. The resulting constitutive theory: (1) is incomplete as it neglects the second and higher order convected time derivatives of the symmetric part of the rotation gradient tensor;(2) first convected derivative of the symmetric part of the rotation gradient tensor as used by Surana et al. is only approximate;(3) has inconsistent treatment of dissipation due to Cauchy moment tensor when compared with the dissipation mechanism due to deviatoric part of symmetric Cauchy stress tensor in which convected time derivatives of up to order n are considered in the theory. Impact of microbial self-induced anaerobiosis fermentation(SIAF)on coffee quality

The fermentation of natural(nC)and pulped coffee(PC)was performed with a conventional method(platform)and under self-induced anaerobic fermentation(SIAF).Of the 12 samples analyzed during the fermentation process,the highest temperature was obtained by the SIAF method(30.5℃ for nC and 29.67℃ for PC)with 87 h of *** compounds(36 samples)were evaluated by high-performance liquid *** in the SIAF method contributed to the maximum amount of citric acid(2.534 mg/g)in pulped coffee and acetic acid(6.04 mg/g)and lactic acid(2.533 mg/g)in *** was the primary chemical class detected,followed by ketones and *** coffees(12 samples)were evaluated five times and classified as specialty coffees(>80 points)following Specialty Coffee Association(SCA)*** pulped coffee processed by the SIAF method showed a 2.83-point increase in the sensory score compared to the conventional ***,the SIAF method is accessible to producers,contributes to coffees with differentiated sensory profiles,and increases beverage quality.

Characterizing downwind drift deposition of aerially applied glyphosate using RbCl as tracer

Rubidium chloride(RbCl)was used as a tracer tank-mixed with active ingredients to profile downwind deposition of aerially applied crop protection and production materials to characterize off-target drift,which helps improve spray efficiency and reduce environmental *** sheets were placed on a holder in the field at each sampling station to collect sprayed *** tracer was used to assess downwind drift of nozzles mounted on the booms installed and controlled on both sides of an agricultural *** experiment was conducted on a field covered by Bermuda grass(Cynodon dactylon).During the experiment,the airplane was planned to fly three passes with three replications at each of three different altitudes,3.7 m,4.9 m,and 6.1 m for total of 27 flight *** results indicated that sampling station location had a significant effect on RbCl ***,application release altitude was not significant to the change of *** practical application in the same aerial application system was used to assess crop injury from the off-target drift of aerially applied *** concentrations measured from Mylar sheets were correlated with visual injury,plant height,shoot dry weight,leaf chlorophyll content,and shikimate,which were measured from the leaves and plant samples ***,RbCl is an effective tracer for monitoring spray applications from agricultural aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles to intensify agriculture output and minimize environmental impact.

This is a modest contribution on higher-order continuum theory for predicting size effects in small-scale objects. It relates to a preceding article of the journal by the same authors（AMSS, 2013, 26： 9-20） which considered the longitudinal dynamical analysis of a gradient elastic fiber but, in addition to an internal length, an internal time parameter is also introduced to model delay/acceleration effects associated with the underlying microstructure. In particular, the free transverse vibration of a double-walled carbon nanotube（DWnT） is studied by employing gradient elasticity with internal inertia. The inner and outer carbon nanotubes are modeled as two individual elastic beams interacting with each other through van der Waals（vdW） forces. General explicit expressions are derived for the natural frequencies and the associated inner-to-outer tube amplitude ratios for the case of simply supported DWnTs. The effects of internal length（or scale）and internal time（or inertia） on the vibration behavior are evaluated. The results indicate that the internal length and time parameters of the adopted strain gradient-internal inertia generalized elasticity model have little influence on the lower order coaxial and noncoaxial vibration modes,but a significant one on the higher order modes.

Sexual Morph of Furcasterigmium furcatum (Plectosphaerellaceae) from Magnolia liliifera Collected in northern Thailand

We isolated an interesting fungus from dead leaves of Magnolia liliifera collected from Chiang Mai,*** novel strain is related to Plectosphaer-ellaceae based on the morphology of its asexual morph and the analysis of sequence *** analyses using a combined gene analysis of LSU and ITS sequence data showed that this strain is clustered in the same clade with Furcasterigmium furcatum with high statistical *** new strains produced the asexual morph in culture which is morphologically similar to ***,we identified this strain as the sexual morph of *** is the first record of sexual morph for the monotypic genus Furcasterigmium and the first record of this genus on Magnolia.

Contribution of TLR signaling to the pathogenesis of colitisassociated cancer in inflammatory bowel disease

In the intestine a balance between proinflammatory and repair signals of the immune system is essential for the maintenance of intestinal homeostasis. The innate immunity ensures a primary host response to microbial invasion, which induces an inflammatory process to localize the infection and prevent systemic dissemination of pathogens. The key elements of this process are the germline encoded pattern recognition receptors including Toll-like receptors (TLRs). If pathogens cannot be eliminated, they may elicit chronic inflammation, which may be partly mediated via TLRs. Additionally, chronic inflammation has long been suggested to trigger tissue tumorous transformation. Inflammation, the seventh hallmark of cancer, may affect all phases of tumor development, and evade the immune system. Inflammation acts as a cellular stressor and may trigger DnA damage or genetic instability. Furthermore, chronic inflammation can provoke genetic mutations and epigenetic mechanisms that promote malignant cell transformation. Colorectal cancers in inflammatory bowel disease patients are considered typical examples of inflammation-related cancers. Although data regarding the role of TLRs in the pathomechanism of cancer-associated colitis are rather conflicting, functionally these molecules can be classified as ”largely antitumorigenic” and ”largely pro-tumorigenic” with the caveat that the underlying signaling pathways are mainly context (i.e., organ-, tissue-, cell-) and ligand-dependent.
