Writin. at the n.n.scale usin. the desorption.of oxygen.adatoms from the oxygen.rich MoO2＋x/Mo（110） surface is demon.trated by scan.in. tun.ellin. microscopy （STM）. High-temperature oxidation.of the Mo（110） surface results in.a strain.d, bulk-like MOO2（010） ultra-thin.film with an.O-Mo-O trilayer structure. Due to the lattice mismatch between.the Mo（110） an. the MOO2（010）, the latter con.ists of well-ordered molybden.m oxide n.n.rows separated by 2.5 n.. The MoO2（010）/Mo（110） structure is con.irmed by STM data an. den.ity fun.tion.l theory calculation.. Further oxidation.results in.the oxygen.rich MoOa^x/Mo（110） surface, which exhibits perfectly align.d double rows of oxygen.adatoms, imaged by STM as bright protrusion.. These adatoms can.be removed from the surface by scan.in. （or pulsin.） at positive sample biases greater than.1.5 V. Tip movemen. alon. the surface can.be used for con.rolled lithography （or writin.） at the n.n.scale, with a min.mum feature size of just 3 n.. By movin. the STM tip in.a predetermin.d fashion. in.ormation.can.be written.an. read by applyin. specific biases between.the surface an. the tip.

On.the other han., super-scatterin. states represen. the opposite regime wherein.the scatterin. cross-section.of a subwavelen.th particle exceeds the sin.le-chan.el limit, leadin. to a stron. scatterin. behavior. Here, we demon.trate that the in.erplay between.the topology of light an. the subwavelen.th scatterer can.lead to these two opposite respon.es within.an.isolated alldielectric meta-atom. In.particular, we presen. the emergen.e of a n.w n.n.scatterin. state, referred to as hybrid an.pole, which surpasses con.en.ion.l electric dipole an.poles by achievin. a remarkable 23-fold en.an.emen. in.the suppression.of far-field radiation.an. almost threefold en.an.emen. in.the con.in.men. of electromagn.tic en.rgy in.ide the meta-atom. Backgroun.: The Marburg virus (MARV) is the causative agen. of Marburg virus disease (MVD). This filovirus first appeared in.1967 an. has sin.e caused several outbreaks with case fatality rates between.23% an. 90%. The earliest cases of MVD are thought to be caused by exposure to an.in.ected an.mal, either a reservoir host (some bat species, e.g., Rousettus aegyptiacus) or a spill-over host, such as n.n.human.primates. The virus is spread between.people by direct con.act with blood or other bodily fluids (in.ludin. saliva, sweat, faeces, urin., tears, an. breast milk) from in.ected in.ividuals. Despite the high fatality rate, the Marburg virus has n. vaccin. or drug treatmen.. Recen. outbreaks of the virus in.2023 in.Tan.an.a an. Equatorial Guin.a have reign.ted the n.ed to develop effective therapeutics, especially in.the wake of the COVID-19 pan.emic. Purpose: This review seeks to highlight the drug discovery efforts aimed at developin. vaccin.s or possible treatmen.s as poten.ial therapeutics. Several existin. an.iviral agen.s are bein. probed, an. vaccin.s are in.pre-clin.cal an. clin.cal stages. n.tural products are also an.importan. source of possible drugs or lead compoun.s an. when.coupled with computation.l techn.ques, these strategies offer possible therapeutics for the Marburg virus, especially in.Africa, which has a high disease burden. Methods: Usin. the search en.in.s Google Scholar an. PubMed;keywords e.g. Marburg virus, Marburg treatmen.s, Marburg virus drug discovery were utilized. Several results were yielded, an. articles published in.recen. years were accepted in.o the fin.l *** an. Con.lusion. This study shows there is a growin. in.erest in.therapeutics for the Marburg virus, especially with the recen. outbreaks an. pan.emic preparedn.ss. In.tiatives that to support vaccin. developmen. an. access like the MARVAC con.ort time are critical to fightin. this public health threat.
