The combined petrographic,petrological,geochemical and geochronological stu.y of the Neoproterozoic gneisses of the Sarychabyn and Baskan complexes of the Ju.ggar Alataw of Sou.h Kazakhstan elu.idate the Precambrian tectonic evolu.ion of the Aktau.Yili *** is one of the largest Precambrian cru.tal blocks in the western Central Asian orogenic *** u.Pb single-grain zircon ages indicate that granite-gneisses formed from the same sou.ce and crystallised in the early Neoproterozoic ca.930–920 *** chemical composition of gneisses corresponds to A2-type *** whole-rock Nd isotopic characteristics(εNd(t)=−4.9 to−1.0 and TNd(DM-2st)=1.9 to 1.7 Ga)indicate the involvement of Paleoproterozoic cru.tal rocks in magma *** Neoproterozoic ca.930–920 Ma A-type granitoids in the Aktau.Yili terrane of Sou.h and Central Kazakhstan might reflect within-plate magmatism adjacent to the collisional belt or a local extension setting in back-arc areas of the continental arc.

This stu.y proposes an approach of leveraging information gathered from mu.tiple traffic data sou.ces at different resolu.ions to obtain approximate inference on the traffic distribu.ion of Chicago's O'Hare Airport ***,it proposes the ingestion of traffic datasets at different resolu.ions to bu.ld spatiotemporal models for predicting the distribu.ion of traffic volu.e on the road *** to its good adaptability and flexibility for spatiotemporal data,the Gau.sian process(GP)regression was employed to provide short-term forecasts u.ing data collected by loop detectors(sensors)and su.plemented by telematics *** GP regression is u.ed to make predictions of the distribu.ion of the proportion of sensor data traffic volu.e represented by the telematics data for each location of the ***,the fitted GP model can be u.ed to determine the approximate traffic distribu.ion for a testing location ou.side of the training *** in the transportation sector can find the resu.ts of this work helpfu. for making informed decisions relating to cu.rent and fu.u.e transportation conditions in the area.

Du.ing germination of barley(Hordeu. vu.gare L.) seeds, important morphological and physiological changes take place, inclu.ing development of organs and tissu.s and activation of metabolic pathways. Germination and dormancy of seeds are regu.ated by abscisic acid, gibberellins, reactive oxygen species(ROS), reactive nitrogen species(RNS)and several other factors. Activities of ascorbate-glu.athione cycle enzymes, responsible for scavenging ROS, strongly increase. Catalase and su.eroxide dismu.ase activities, also scavenging ROS, decrease at the onset of seed germination and then increase. With the increase in aerobic metabolism after radicle protru.ion, the activities of the fermentation enzymes lactate and alcohol dehydrogenase decline rapidly. The RNS-scavenging activity of S-nitrosoglu.athione redu.tase decreases in the cou.se of seed germination, in concert with elevation of nitric oxide produ.tion and protein nitrosylation. This activity su.ports the role of RNS in regu.ating seed germination. Transcription of variou. genes at different phases of seed germination exhibits phase-specific changes. Du.ing imbibition, genes involved in cell wall metabolism are highly expressed; in the middle phase of seed germination before radicle protru.ion, genes involved in amino acid synthesis, protein synthesis, and transport and nu.leic acid synthesis are u.regu.ated significantly, and after radicle protru.ion, genes involved in photosynthetic metabolism are indu.ed. In su.mary, signal transdu.tion and metabolic regu.ation of seed germination involve diverse reactions and complex regu.ation at different levels of metabolic organization.

It consists of a retrospective stu.y with twenty-two individu.ls diagnosed with DRC: fou.teen HD and eight CAPD, followed u. in the dialysis center of Antonio Pedro u.iversity Hospital (Hu.P) of Flu.inense Federal u.iversity (u.F), between 2015 and 2017. Fifteen healthy control (HC) su.jects were inclu.ed, withou. diagnosed CKD. Patients with HIV positive, hepatitis A, B, and C, pregnant, cancer, smokers, alcoholics and those exposed to X-rays in the last 3 months, were exclu.ed. Objectives: As oxidative stress and endothelial dysfu.ction may be linked to the higher prevalence of CVD in CKD patients, we measu.ed the activities of the antioxidants enzymes: SOD and GPx and total NO levels in the plasma and seru. of end-stage CKD patients u.dergoing dialysis therapy, comparing with the HC grou.. Methods: Qu.ntification of NO levels was performed by flu.rometric kit, while activities of SOD and GPx were determined u.ing kinetic methods. Resu.ts: We fou.d higher plasma SOD activity in HD (8.58 u.ml) and CAPD (10.14 u.ml), compared to C (3.73 u.ml) grou., while GPx activity was decreased in HD (115.38 nmol/h/ml) and CAPD (122.76 nmol/h/ml) grou.s compared to HC grou. (275.83 nmol/h/ml). Total seru. NO concentration was decreased in HD (14.09 pmol/μl) and CAPD (10.26 pmol/μl), compared to non-CKD patients (49.65 pmol/μl). Conclu.ion: Decreased total seru. NO and GPx activities may lead to endothelial dysfu.ction and consequ.ntly a higher prevalence of CVD in CKD patients.

Du.ing the last decade, transient receptor potential （TRP） channels emerge as key proteins in central mechanisms of the carcinogenesis su.h as cell proliferation, apoptosis and migration. Initial stu.ies showed that expression profile of some TRP channels, notably TRP melastatin 8 （TRPM8）, TRP vanilloid 6 （TRPV6）,TRP canonical （TRPC6） and TRPV2, is changing du.ing the development and the progression of prostate cancer towards the hormone-refractory stages. The link between the change in expression levels and the fu.ctional role of these channels in prostate cancer is step by step being elu.idated. These recent advances are here described and discu.sed.

In this paper,we developed a new cu.tomizable low energy Software Defined Networking(SDN)based Internet of Things(IoT)platform that can be reconfigu.ed according to the requ.rements of the target IoT ***,the platform consists of a set of low cost and energy efficient single-board compu.ers,which are interconnected within a network with the software defined *** proposed SDN switch is deployed on Raspberry Pi 3 board u.ingOpen vSwitch(OvS)software,while theFloodlight controller is deployed on the Orange Pi Prime *** firstly presented and implemented the method formeasu.ing a delay introdu.ed by each component of the IoT infrastru.tu.e,ranging from the sensor,the core of SDN,the IoT broker,to an IoT ***,we presented the approach for estimating energy efficiency for SDN based IoT platform proportional to the *** experiments carried ou. on a real SDN topology based on single-board compu.ers show that ou. approach not only saves u. to 53.56%of energy at low traffic intensity,bu. also provides QoS gu.rantee for IoT applications.
