We report the results of a search for radio pulsars in five supernova remnants(SNRs)with the FAST *** observations were made using the 19-beam receiver in“snapshot”*** integration time for each pointing was 10 *** discovered a new pulsar,PSR J1845–0306,which has a spin period of 983.6 ms and a dispersion measure of 444.6±2.0 cm^(−3)·pc,in observations of SNR G29.6+*** judge the association between the pulsar and the SNR,further verification is *** also re-detected some known pulsars in the data from SNRs G29.6+0.1 and G29.7–*** pulsars were detected in the observations of the other three SNRs.

Drought is a main abiotic stress factor hindering plant growth,development,and crop ***,it is crucial to understand the mechanisms by which plants cope with drought ***,the function of the maize peroxidase gene ZmPRX1 in drought stress tolerance was investigated by measurement of its expression in response to drought treatment both in a ZmPRX1 overexpression line and a mutant *** higher root lignin accumulation and seedling survival rate of the overexpression line than that of the wild type or mutant support a role for ZmPRX1 in maize drought tolerance by regulating root development and ***,yeast one-hybrid,Dule luciferase and ChIP-qPCR assays showed that ZmPRX1 is negatively regulated by a nuclear-localized ZmWRKY86 transcription *** gene could potentially be used for breeding of drought-tolerant cultivars.

A metal-free,green,and sustainable functionalization of unactivated alkyl sp^(3) C—H bonds is reported using iodine(III)as a feasible dehydrogenation agent under visible light or KBr,and alkyl chlorides,bromides,alcohols,and ketones could be constructed by addition of different coupling *** and safe iodobenzene diacetate was used to form a radical to activate the alkyl sp^(3) C—H bond in a highly efficient manner,which can construct different alkylation products by adding corresponding coupling reagents.

Within the framework of achieving carbon neutrality, various industries are confronted with fresh challenges. The ongoing process of downsizing coal industry operations has evolved into a new phase, with the burgeoning proliferation of abandoned mines posing a persistent issue. Addressing the challenges and opportunities presented by these abandoned mines, this paper advocates for a scientific approach centered on the advancement of pumped storage energy alongside gas-oil complementary energy. Leveraging abandoned mine tunnels to establish pumped storage power stations holds significant ecological and economic importance for repurposing these sites. This initiative not only serves as an effective means to restore the ecological balance in mining regions but also provides an environmentally friendly approach to repurposing abandoned mine tunnels, offering a blueprint for economically viable pumped storage power stations. This article delineates five crucial scientific considerations and outlines seven primary models for the utilization of abandoned mine sites, delineating a novel, comprehensive pathway for energy and power development that emphasizes multi-energy complementarity and synergistic optimization within abandoned mines.

Fast radio bursts(FRBs)are radio transients that are bright and have short duration,with their physical mechanism not being fully *** conducted a targeted search for bursts from FRB 20201124A between 2021 June 2and July *** time-resolution data were collected for 104.5 hr using the ROACH2-based digital *** introduce the details of our FRB search pipeline which is based on HEIMDALL and *** of the injected mock FRBs search could help us better understand the performance of the pipelines,and improve the search algorithms and *** study the efficiency of our pipeline,5000 mock FRBs were injected into the data and searched using the *** results of the mock FRB search show that our pipeline can recover almost all(?90%)the injected mock FRBs above a signal-to-noise ratio(S/N)threshold of 15,and the performance is still acceptable(?80%)for injected S/Ns from 10 to *** recovery fraction displays relations with S/N,dispersion measure and pulse *** bursts were detected from FRB 20201124A in the middle of *** non-detection of FRB 20201124A may be due to its quiet phase window or no emission above the threshold of the nanshan telescope.
