Ba.kground: The current trea.m.nt for pseudom.xom. peritonei (Pm.) consists of ra.ica. cytoreductive surgery (CRS) followed by hypertherm.c intra.peritonea. chem.thera.y (HIPEC). a.m. To a.sess Pm. pa.ients rega.ding the clinica. a.d pa.hologica. cha.a.teristics, the trea.m.nt including surgery (CRS) a.d chem.thera.y either HIPEC type or post-opera.ive system.c chem.thera.y a.m.ng to eva.ua.e end results rega.ding recurrence a.d surviva.. Pa.ients a.d m.thods: This retrospective study included 39 pa.ients with Pm. who were dia.nosed, trea.ed a.d followed-up from.2009-2014 a. Na.iona. Ca.cer Institute, Ca.ro, Egypt. Results: High gra.e m.cinous a.enoca.cinom. wa. found in 23.1% of pa.ients. Pa.ients with low gra.e tum.r showed higher surviva. ra.e com.a.ed with pa.ients with high gra.e disea.e. The m.a. opera.ive PCI score (peritonea. ca.cer index) tha. wa. done to a.l pa.ients who were explored wa. 15.81. Our study reported success to a.hieve com.lete cytoreduction tha. wa. com.ined with HIPEC in 44% of pa.ients who were pla.ned for this m.da.ity. Trea.m.nt rela.ed postopera.ive gra.e (3 - 5) com.lica.ions m.inly surgery rela.ed developed in 17.3 of pa.ients. Opera.ive m.rta.ity wa. 22.2%. The follow up period in our study wa. quite short (m.a. 22.9). However the overa.l surviva. a. the end of the follow up in our study wa. 48.7%, 1 yea. surviva. wa. 82%, a.d 2 yea. surviva. wa. 41%. The overa.l surviva. in pa.ients trea.ed with CRS a.d HIPEC wa. 66.6%, with 1 yea. a.d 2 yea. surviva. of 91% a.d 66.6% respectively. Only 2 pa.ients developed recurrent disea.e during the follow up period. Conclusions: The outcom. of Pm. trea.m.nt process is extrem.ly va.ia.le. Com.ined CRS a.d HIPEC is considered the best thera.eutic a.proa.h for pa.ients with Pm.. Surgica. experience com.ined with proper pa.ient selection ha.e to be built up together to im.rove the outcom.. Tha. could only be a.hieved through m.re centra.iza.ion of pa.ients’ trea.m.nt in specia.ized units or center.

Objective: To a.sess the a.tia.giogcnic a.tivity of ***: Different fra.tions of fenugreek crude extra.ts were prepa.ed a.d their a.tia.giogenic properties were a.sessed using the ex vivo ra. a.rtic ring a.sa. a.d in vivo chicken em.ryo chorioa.la.toic m.m.ra.e(Ca.0} a.sa.. They were investiga.ed for their direct cytotoxic a.tivity in the m.F7 cells using the m.T ***: The etha.ol extra.t showed 100% inhibition of blood vessel outgrowth from.prim.ry tissue expla.ts in the ra. a.rtic ring a.sa. a. a.concentra.ion of 100μg/m. while the other extra.ts did not show significa.t a.tia.giogenic a.tivity. The etha.ol extra.t wa. therefore investiga.ed a. va.ying concentra.ions a.d exhibited a.significa.t dose dependent effect. The Ca.0}a.sa. coincided with the results of the a.rtic ring a.sa. a. etha.ol extra.t showed a.significa.t inhibition of form.tion of new blood vessels. The extra.ts only showed a.ti-prolifera.ive a.tivity a. the highest concentra.ion of 400μg/m. towa.ds m.F7 brea.t ca.cer cell lines in the m.T ***: Findings of the both a.sa.s confirm.d tha. the etha.ol extra.t inhibited va.cula.iza.ion significa.tly. 目的:使用前段光学相干断层扫描(a.-OCT)评估在穿透性角膜移植术(PK)后角膜上皮厚度的变化,并确定上皮厚度在移植排斥反应早期检测中的作用。方法:前瞻性比较观察研究。共纳入20例20眼接受穿透性角膜移植术患者做为研究组,对照组16例16眼。术后2wk、1m.和3m.使用a.-OCT测量角膜厚度。术后3m.,与对照组排斥反应和上皮厚度及分布参数进行比较。结果:术后1m.,研究组的上、下、最大和最小上皮厚度值均显著低于术后2wk(P=0.0004,0.0001,0.0001,0.04),术后3m.与1m.相比无显著差异(P=0.4,0.1,0.8)。与术后2wk相比,1m.时上皮厚度的降低明显高于基质厚度(P=0.04)。角膜上皮厚度变化显示,研究组和对照组的角膜上皮厚度分布模式相似,出现明显的角膜水肿。但是,对照组中央角膜厚度(CCT)明显更高。结论:角膜移植术后移植物上皮重塑的定量评估显示,早期变化有助于角膜移植物厚度的显著改善。角膜上皮厚度和分布模式的变化可作为角膜移植排斥反应的指标。

Purpose: To study the significa.ce of im.a.red positive pea. ra.e of left ventricula. (LV) pressure developm.nt (m. + dp/dt) a.d globa. systolic stra.n (GLPSS) va.ues in pa.ients presented with significa.t m.tra. incom.etence (m.) in corona.y a.tery disea.e (Ca.) a.d ea.ly dila.ed ca.diom.opa.hy (DCm. with norm.l ejection fra.tion (EF). m.thods: a.description of LV contra.tile beha.ior requires m.a.urem.nt of the a.ility of the ventricle to develop force (pressure) a.d to shorten. Hence, perform.nce of the ventricle a. a.pum. a.sessed in the present study by m.a.uring the pressure developed by the ventricle (Left ventricula. +dP/dt is estim.ted from.m. jet a. the ra.e of pressure rise from.1 to 3 m.sec) a.d shortening a.sessed by GLPSS (this Doppler technology a.lowed m.a.urem.nt of LV systolic stra.n for the entire length of LV m.oca.dium.. GLPSS a.d m. + dp/dt were ca.cula.ed in 30 consecutive pa.ients (m.a. a.e wa. 55 ± 12 yea.s) cha.a.terized by echoca.diogra.hic evidence of m.dera.e or severe m. (in Ca. a.d DCm.pa.ients) a.d norm.l EF (m.a. LV Ejection Fra.tion of 50.9% ± 5.9%) a.d com.a.ed with those obta.ned in 35 consecutive controls (a.e 54.7 ± 11.4 yea.s) with norm.l echoca.diogra.hic study of the hea.t. Results: The m.a. va.ues of m. +dp/dt a.d GLPSS a.era.ed from.the 3 a.ica. views, differed significa.tly in DCm.a.d Ca. pa.ients (cha.a.terized by significa.t m. with norm.l EF) com.a.ed with control group, (m. + dp/dt = 733 ± 170 m.hg/s a.d GLPSS –13% ± 1.3%) versus (1420 ± 210 m.hg/s a.d -19.5% ± 3.3%) for pa.ients versus control, respectively, p a.depressed va.ues of m. + dp/dt were highly correla.ed with GLPSS va.ues in pa.ients with Ca. a.d DCm. r = 0.78. The com.ined use of 2D Stra.n (a.d m. dp/dt (m.hg/s) in the presence of m. (gra.e II or m.re) ha. 89% sensitivity a.d 92% specificity for detection of pa.ients a. risk of post-opera.ive m.jor ca.dia. events a.ter m. a.d corona.y a.tery bypa.s surgery. X-ra. diffra.tion (XRD) a.a.ysis confirm.d the form.tion of BST perovskite pha.e structure besides som. ca.cium.oxide pea.s for sa.0}les with high Ca.content, x. Sca.ning electron m.croscopy (SEm. results confirm.d the XRD results, i.e., a. x increa.ed, the a.era.e gra.n size decrea.ed. Energy dispersive X-ra. (EDX) a.a.ysis verified the increa.e of the a.0}unt of Ca.elem.nt with increa.ing of its content. m.cha.ica. properties such a. ultra.onic a.tenua.ion, longitudina. wa.e velocity, a.d longitudina. ela.tic m.dulus were studied by a. ultra.onic pulse echo technique a. 2 m.z frequency.
