Diffusion Monte Carlo calculations on LaB molecule

Potential energy curves for the lowest electronic states of LaB and LaB- have been calculated by ab initio *** diffusion Monte Carlo method has been employed in combination with three different trial functions. Spectroscopic constants have also been numerically derived for the neutral molecule and compared with the only available theoretical work;^（[19]） however, predictions are provided for the corresponding constants for the anionic species which have not been reported yet. Our calculations suggest the high spin quintet state of LaB as the ground state with the triplet state higher in energy irrespective of the type of the functional used. This suggestion is in good accordance with the previous theoretical results calculated at B3LYP/LANL2DZ level of theory, whereas it contradicts with the prediction based upon B3LYP/SDD calculations in the same study. Moreover, variations of the permanent dipole moments as a function of the internuclear separations for the two electronic states of the neutral molecule have been studied and analyzed.

The current study aims to develop polyvinyl chloride(PVC)nanocomposites with enhanced electrical and mechanical properties by incorporating titanium oxide(TiO_(2))nanoparticles within PVC *** loading of nanoparticles and different nanoparticle surface states were *** surface states are unfunctionalised,functionalised using vinyl silane and functionalised using amino *** choice of a most suitable surface state was a critical factor that guarantees a good dispersion of nanoparticles and consequently enhances the compatibility between TiO_(2)and PVC *** process followed in the PVC/TiO_(2)nanocomposites preparation,loaded with different wt.%of TiO_(2)nanoparticles,was the solvent *** dielectric properties measured here were the relative permittivity(ɛr),dielectric loss(tanδ),breakdown strength(AC and DC under uniform field)and the internal partial discharges(PDs)within insulation *** measurements have been performed under room temperature and at frequency ranged from 20 to 1.0 ***,the mechanical properties of the samples like elongation,elasticity modulus and tensile strength were also *** silane showed better improvements in both electrical and mechanical performances compared to the amino silane,especially in cases of high weight fractions of TiO_(2).This is because of the improvement in the PVC-TiO_(2)interfacial region arise from the similarity of polarity and surface tension values of vinyl silane with that of PVC matrix and TiO_(2)nanoparticles.

The completely unexplored LaP molecule is investigated by ab initio methods. Potential energy curves for the lowlying states of LaP are constructed by means of the diffusion Monte Carlo method combined with three different trial functions. Spectroscopic constants are also numerically derived and the ground state is assigned, looking forward to experimental comparisons. Moreover, variations of the permanent dipole moments as a function of the internuclear separation for the two lowest states of the diatomic LaP are studied and analyzed.

Objective:To determine the risk factors for dehydration in elderly people in one of elbehira Governorate’s ***:A descriptive correlational design was utilized in this *** study was conducted at elnemaria village,Markaz Abo elmatamir,elbehira Governorate,*** were collected using 3 tools:a structured interviewing questionnaire,a dehydration knowledge questionnaire,and a dehydration risk appraisal ***:The study found that 29.5%of the par ticipants were aged between 65 and *** constituted 51%of the study par *** majority of the study participants regularly took anti-acids,anti-inflammatory drugs,and *** the elderlies comprising the respondents,40%had a low level of knowledge regarding *** than half of the study subjects were at moderate risk for ***:The study showed that half of the par ticipants had diabetes and a medium level of information about *** study also showed in general that the elderly in the village are exposed to a moderate dehydration rate,and there is also a strong relationship between taking different types of medication and the occurrence of dehydration.

This study aims to estimate the quantum Bogoliubov-Born-Green-Kirkwood-Yvon (BBGKY) hierarchy in curvilinear coordinates. We used the results to calculate the quantum binary and triplet distribution functions in curvilinear coordinates. The analytical form of the quantum distribution functions was obtained for dusty plasma in Saturn’s rings model. We use particles-in-cell (PIC) simulations to find a visualization of dusty three-component plasma phase space in curvilinear coordinates. Our results were compared with others.

Condition monitoring of the insulating system within power transformers has a massive importance according to the electrical *** gas analysis(DGA)is frequently used for this ***,DGA lacks the necessary level of accuracy to identify all equipment faults,particularly in their initial stages of ***,it does not have the capability for real-time monitoring and relies on manual sampling and laboratory testing,causing potential delays in fault ***,the interpretation of DGA data necessitates specialised expertise,which may pose difficulties for smaller entities that have limited access to ***,the contribution of this research is to use infrared spectroscopy measurements as a new effective technique substituting the DGA method for fault diagnosis in insulating *** inception faults that were considered in this study were the electrical fault(discharges of high energy)and the thermal fault(300°Cells were crafted especially for serving the simulation processes inside the laboratory for both types of inception ***,six samples of pure paraffinic mineral oil were taken to be degraded in the *** that,all of them besides another sample that were not subjected to any kind of faults were taken to be examined by Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy to obtain an overview of the oil's behaviour in each fault *** that,the FTIR analysis was initially verified utilising the DGA ***,for further affirmation,the dielectric dissipation factor(DDF)for all samples was *** the final analysis,the verification tests provide experimental evidence about the outperformance of this new optical technique in detecting the transformer's inception faults in addition to proving its potential for being a superior alternative to the well-known traditional diagnostic techniques.

Liver fibrosis recognition using multi-compression elastography technique

Liver fibrosis recognition is an important issue in diagnostic imaging. The accurate estimation of liver fibrosis stages is important to establish prognosis and to guide appropriate treatment decisions. Liver biopsy has been for many years the reference procedure to assess histological definition for liver diseases. But biopsy measurement is an invasive method besides it takes large time. So, fast and improved methods are needed. Using elastography technology, a correlation technique can be used to calculate the displacement of liver tissue after it has suffered a compression force. This displacement is related to tissue stiffness, and liver fibrosis can be classified into stages according to that displacement. The value of compression force affects the displacement of tissue and so affects the results of the liver fibrosis diagnosing. By using finite element method, liver fibrosis can be recognized directly within a short time. The proposed work succeeded in recognizing liver fibrosis by a percent reached in average to 86.67% on a simulation environment.

A Finite element Model for Recognizing Breast Cancer

Breast cancer recognition is an important issue in elastography diagnostic imaging. Breast tumor biopsy has been for many years the reference procedure to assess histological definition for breast diseases. But biopsy measurement is an invasive method besides it takes larger time. So, fast and improved methods are needed. Using elastography technology, a digital image correlation technique can be used to calculate the displacement of breast tissue after it has suffered a compression force. This displacement is related to tissue stiffness, and breast cancer can be classified into benign or malignant according to that displacement. The value of compression force affects the displacement of tissue, and then affects the results of the breast cancer recognition. Finite element method was being used to simulate a model for the breast cancer as a phantom to be used in measurements and study of breast cancer diagnosis. The breast cancer using this phantom can be recognized within a short time. The proposed work succeeded in recognizing breast tumor phantom by an average correct recognition ratio CRR of about 94.25% on a simulation environment. The strain ratio SR for benign and malignant models is also computed. The result of the simulated breast tumor model is compared with real data of 10 lesion cases (6 benign and 4 malignant). The coefficient of variation CV between the simulated SR and the SR using real data reaches to about 5% for benign lesions and 4.78% for malignant lesions. The results of CRR and CV in this proposed work assure that the proposed breast cancer model using finite element modeling is a robust technique for breast tumor simulation where the behavior of real data of breast cancer can be predicted.

A Study of the Correlation between Angiotensin (1-7) and the Histopathological Changes in the Penises of Experimentally Diabetic Rats

Background: Diabetes mellitus is an important risk factor for erectile dysfunction. Renin-angiotensin system with its branches Angiotensin II and Angiotensin 1-7 [Ang-(1-7)] are altered in diabetes and could affect erection. So, in this study we determine the level of Ang-(1-7), nitrite (the major nitric oxide metabolite) and histopathological changes in penile tissues of type I diabetic rats. A total of 60 male albino rats were divided into two groups: group I (control) and group II (diabetic) for either 4 weeks in group IIa, or 8 weeks in group IIb. Diabetes was induced by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (60 mg/kg). Penile levels of Ang-(1-7), nitrite and histopathological examination were assessed at 4 and 8 weeks after diabetes induction. Results: Ang-(1-7) and nitrite were decreased in diabetic rats at 4 weeks and continued to be lower at 8 weeks for Ang-(1-7) only. Loss of corpus cavernosum smooth muscle was present in 25% and 85% of rats at 4 and 8 weeks of diabetes respectively (P Conclusion: Diabetes induced progressive decrease in the release of Ang-(1-7) and nitric oxide from the corpora cavernosa in a time-dependent manner with concomitant fibro-muscular changes that end by corporal fibrosis affecting subsequently erectile functions.
