This research was performed to investigate the optimization of copper recovery from copper smelting slag(CSS)with a deep eutectic solvent as a green *** effect of important parameters on the leaching efficiency of copper and zinc(as well as dissolution of iron),such as leaching time,leaching temperature,solid/liquid ratio,and particle size was *** order to model the copper recovery,an optimization method was *** to the chemical analysis of CSS,the slag contains 0.9%copper,3.3%zinc,and 36.7%***,it was found that the CSS is mainly composed of Fe2SiO4,Fe3O4 and ***-containing structures were determined as CuO and *** a result of leaching experiments,80%copper and 61%zinc recoveries were obtained at 48 h,95℃,1/25 g·ml^(-1),and-33 *** is noted that the iron and silicon dissolution remained negligible under the selected *** to the mathematical model,the highest copper leaching efficiency(up to 100%)could be under optimum working conditions as 48.5℃leaching temperature,40.1 h leaching duration,and 62.3 ml·g^(-1)solid/liquid ***,the proposed model revealed that a wide range of experimental levels can be used as leaching parameter to get desired metal leaching efficiency.

Objective:To investigate the antiproliferative,anti-angiogenic,and apoptotic effects of extracts of Achillea biebersteinii(ABE)and combined treatments of ABE with 5-fluorouracil(5-FU)on HT-29 ***:The effects of ABE,5-FU,and combined treatments on the viability of HT-29 cells were determined by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide *** analysis was used to determine synergism between ABE and *** apoptotic and anti-angiogenic effects were determined by cell death detection and human vascular endothelial growth factor ELIsa method,*** and translational expressions of p53,Bax,Bcl-2,p38 MAPK,Akt,PTEn,and m TOR were also evaluated by real-time PCR and Western blotting ***:ABE decreased the viability of HT-29 cells in a dosedependent *** treatment of hexane,chloroform,and methanol extracts of Achillea biebersteinii with 5-FU at IC50 doses decreased the cell viability to 26.0%,19.1%,and 14.9%,respectively(Pnt alone and combination with 5-FU,induced apoptosis,significantly downregulated m TOR,Akt,Bcl-2 expression,upregulated p53,Bax,PTEn,p38 MAPK expression,and exhibited anti-angiogenetic ***:Our findings indicate that ABE shows synergism with 5-FU and inhibits the proliferation of HT-29 cells by inducing apoptosis and suppressing angiogenesis,which may provide biological evidence for further use of ABE in the treatment of colorectal cancer.

The research presented in this paper discusses the impact that the parameters of charge(Q)and screening factor(γ)have on properties of the horizon and silhouette of rotating charged Mod Max black holes which were reviewed in[***.J.C(2022)82:1155]recently,building upon previous findings in the ***,the study explores the behavior of null geodesics,which can help us better understand the apparent shape of the black hole’s silhouette,as well as the distortion parameter and approximate radii of the silhouette that are influenced by the aforementioned parameters,and there are some values of parameter Q which corresponds to data from the Event Horizon Telescope(EHT).notably,we explore the distortion parameter and approximate radii of the silhouette,revealing that while an increase inγleads to a growth in silhouette radius(Rs),it simultaneously reduces the distortion rate(δs).Conversely,heightened Q charge results in a reduction of Rsaccompanied by an increase inδ***,the paper analyzes the effects of the black hole’s parameters on the effective potential and energy emission:the peak value of the energy emission rate experiences a decrease as the screening factor(γ)increases,while it increases with higher values of the charge parameter(Q).

Identifying tree locations is a basic step in the derivation of other tree parameters using remote sensing techniques, particularly when using airborne laser scanning. There are several techniques for identifying tree positions. In this paper, we present a raster-based method for determining tree position and delineating crown coverage. We collected data from nine research plots that supported different mixes of species. We applied a raster-based method to raster layers with six different spatial resolutions and used terrestrial measurement data as reference data. Tree identification at a spatial resolution of 1.5 m was demonstrated to be the most accurate, with an average identification ratio (IR) of 95% and average detection ratio of 68% being observed. At a higher spatial resolution of 0.5 m, IR was overestimated by more than 600%. At a lower spatial resolution of 3 m, IR was underestimated at less than 44% of terrestrial measurements. The inventory process was timed to enable evaluation of the time efficiency of automatic methods.

We study genuine entanglement among three qubits undergoing a noisy process that includes dissipation, squeezing,and decoherence. We obtain a general solution and analyze the asymptotic quantum states. We find that most of these asymptotic states can be genuinely entangled depending upon the parameters of the channel, memory parameter, and the parameters of the initial states. We study Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger(GHZ) states and W states, mixed with white noise,and determine the conditions for them to be genuinely entangled at infinity. We find that for these mixtures, it is possible to start with a bi-separable state(with a specific mixture of white noise) and end with genuine entangled states. However, the memory parameter μ must be very high. We find that in contrast to the two-qubit case, none of the three-qubit asymptotic states for n → ∞ are genuinely entangled.

In recent years,metal matrix syntactic foams(MMSFs)have become highly attractive owing to their unique physical,microstructural and mechanical *** to their promising potential for different industrial areas like automotive,aviation,and defense,these advanced engineering materials can also be evaluated as serious alternatives to particle reinforced metallic composites and conventional metallic *** from previously reported laboratory scaled techniques in the literature,this experimental effort focuses on the feasibility of MMSF manufacturing via a fully automated and industrial-based cold chamber die casting ***,1-2 mm,2-4 mm,and bimodal(50vol.%)natural-based pumice filled aluminum syntactic foams were manufactured utilizing a purpose-made casting ***,macroscopic,and microscopic examinations show that all of the fabricated samples display perfect matrix/filler *** density levels of fabricated syntactic foams range between 1.50 and 1.80 g·cm^(-3) depending upon the pumice particles size *** assess mechanical responses,quasi-static compression tests were ***,half of the foam samples were subjected to heat treatment to explore possible influences of aging on the compressive features and damage *** indicate that although the heat treatment enhances the compressive strength,plateau stress,and energy absorption properties of the fabricated foams,it changes damage mode of the samples by causing brittle dominant deformation.

The flow patterns and wake structures behind a pitching airfoil in an un-bounded domain have been studied extensively. In contrast, the flow phenomena associated with a pitching airfoil near a solid boundary have not been adequately studied or reported. This paper aims at filling this research gap by considering the flow confinement effects on the flow pattern around a pitching airfoil. To achieve this goal, the flow fields around a flapping airfoil in un-bounded, bounded and semi-bounded domains are studied and compared. numerical simulations are carried out at a fixed Reynolds number, Re = 255, and at a fixed oscillation frequency corresponding to St = 0.22. An accurate immersed boundary method is employed to calculate the unsteady flow fields around the airfoil at various flapping amplitudes. It is argued that two flow mechanisms, here called ＂the interaction effect＂ and ＂the induced reverse flow effect＂ are responsible for the variations of the flow field due to the presence of a nearby solid boundary.

An iterative direct-forcing immersed boundary method is extended and used to solve convection heat transfer *** pressure,momentum source,and heat source at immersed boundary points are calculated simultaneously to achieve the best *** of convection heat transfer problems with both Dirichlet and neumann boundary conditions are *** approaches for the implementation of neumann boundary condition,*** and indirect methods,are introduced and compared in terms of accuracy and computational *** test cases include forced convection on a heated cylinder in an unbounded flow field and mixed convection around a circular body in a lid-driven ***,the proposed method is applied to study the mixed convection around a heated rotating cylinder in a square enclosure with both iso-heat flux and iso-thermal boundary *** results show that the order of accuracy of the indirect method is less than the direct ***,the indirect method takes less computational time both in terms of the implementation of the boundary condition and the post processing time required to compute the heat transfer variables such as the nusselt *** is concluded that the iterative direct-forcing immersed boundary method is a powerful technique for the solution of convection heat transfer problems with stationary/moving boundaries and various boundary conditions.

We analyze the two-dimensional peristaltic flow of a micropolar fluid in a curved channel. Long wavelength and low Reynolds number assumptions are used in deriving the governing equations. A shooting method with fourth-order Runge-Kutta algorithm is employed to solve the equations. The influence of dimensionless curvature radius on pumping and trapping phenomena is discussed with the help of graphical results. It is seen that the pressure rise per wavelength in the pumping region increases with an increase in the curvature of the channel. Moreover the symmetry of the trapped bolus destroys in going from strMg＇ht to curved channel.
