Delineation of groundwater potential zones in Theni district,Tamil nadu,using remote sensing,GIs and MIF techniques

Integration of remote sensing data and the geographical information system （GIs） for the exploration of groundwater resources has become a breakthrough in the field of groundwater research, which assists in assessing, monitoring, and conserving groundwater resources. In the present paper, various groundwater potential zones for the assessment of groundwater availability in Theni district have been delineated using remote sensing and GIs techniques. survey of India toposheets and IRs-IC satel- lite imageries are used to prepare various thematic layers viz. lithology, slope, land-use, lineament, drainage, soil, and rainfall were transformed to raster data using feature to raster converter tool in ArcGIs. The raster maps of these factors are allocated a fixed score and weight computed from multi influencing factor （MIF） technique. Moreover, each weighted thematic layer is statistically computed to get the groundwater potential zones. The groundwater potential zones thus obtained were divided into four categories, viz., very poor, poor, good, and very good zones. The result depicts the groundwater potential zones in the study area and found to be helpful in better planning and management of ground- water resonrces.

In this paper,we find the solutions for fractional potential Korteweg-de Vries(p-KdV)and Benjamin equations using q-homotopy analysis transform method(q-HATM).The considered method is the mixture of q-homotopy analysis method and Laplace transform,and the Caputo fractional operator is considered in the present *** projected solution procedure manipulates and controls the obtained results in a large admissible ***,it offers a simple algorithm to adjust the convergence province of the obtained *** validate the q-HATM is accurate and reliable,the numerical simulations have been conducted for both equations and the outcomes are revealed through the plots and *** between the obtained solutions with the exact solutions exhibits that,the considered method is efficient and effective in solving nonlinear problems associated with science and technology.

Influence of the snPs on the structural stability of CBs protein： Insight from molecular dynamics simulations

Cystathionine β-synthase is an essential enzyme of the trans-suifuration pathway that condenses serine with homocysteine to form cystathionine. Missense mutations in CBs are the major cause of inherited homocystinuria, and the detailed effect of disease associated amino acid substitutions on the structure and stability of human CBs is yet unknown. Here, we apply a unique approach in combining in silico tools and molecular dynamics simulation to provide structural and functional insight into the effect of snP on the stability and activity of mutant CBs. In addition, principal component analysis and free energy landscape were used to predict the collective motions, thermodynamic stabilities and essential subspace relevant to CBs function. The obtained results indicate that C109R, E176K and D376n mutations have the diverse effect on dynamic behavior of CBs protein. We found that highly conserved D376n mutation, which is present in the active pocket, affects the protein folding mechanism. Our strategy may provide a way in near future to understand and study effects of functional nssnPs and their role in causing homocystinuria.

simultaneous Determination of n-Acetyl Cysteine and Taurine by HPTLC Method in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient and Pharmaceutical Dosage Form

specific, precise and sensitive TLC-Densitometric method was developed and validated for the simultaneous estimation of n-Acetyl cysteine and Taurine in active pharmaceutical ingredient and pharmaceutical dosage form. An effective separation was achieved on pre-coated silica gel HPTLC plates by using n-butanol:acetic acid:water (8:0.5:1.5 v/v/v). The spots were scanned densitometrically at 295 nm. The RF values of n-Acetyl cysteine and Taurine were found to be 0.29 and 0.52, respectively. Calibration curves were linear in the range of 30 - 180 and 100 - 600 ng/band for n-Acetyl cysteine and Taurine, correspondingly with correlation coefficients of 0.999. The developed method was validated as per ICH guidelines. The limits of detection were 11.24 and 63.40 ng/spot for nAC and TAU respectively. The method developed was found to be precise and specific for the simultaneous analysis of n-Acetyl cysteine and Taurine in pure and tablet dosage form.
