Recently,the increasing demand of radio spectrum for the next generation communication systems due to the explosive growth of applications appetite for bandwidths has led to the problem of spectrum *** potential approaches among the proposed solutions to resolve this issue are well explored cognitive radio(CR)technology and recently introduced non-orthogonal multiple access(nOMA)*** the techniques are employed for efficient spectrum utilization and assure the significant improvement in the spectral ***,the significant improvement in spectral efficiency can be achieved by combining both the *** the CR is well-explored technique as compared to that of the nOMA in the field of communication,therefore it is worth and wise to implement this technique over the *** this article,we have presented the frameworks of nOMA implementation over CR as well as the feasibility of proposed ***,the differences between proposed CR-nOMA and conventional CR frameworks are ***,the potential issues regarding the implementation of CR-nOMA are explored.

In the quest for the development of thermally stable,highly active and low-cost catalysts for use in catalyzed diesel particulate filter,nano-composites are new areas of ***,we reported the easy synthesis of spinel niCo_(2)O_(4)/perovskite LaCoO_(3) nano-composite,and its individual oxides niCo_(2)O_(4)and LaCoO_(3) for *** detailed insights into the physio-chemical characteristics of formed niCo_(2)O_(4)/LaCoO_(3) nano-composite were done based on various characterization analysis such as X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR),n_(2) physiosorption,scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive spectroscopy(SEM-EDX),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The characterization analysis of niCo_(2)O_(4)/LaCoO_(3) revealed the successful formation of a chemical interface possessing strong interfacial interaction,resulting in desirable physicochemical characteristics such as small crystallite size,abundant mesoporosity,high specific surface area and activation of surface lattice *** to the desirable characteristics,the activity results over niCo_(2)O_(4)/LaCoO_(3) nano-composite showed the excellent CO oxidation performance and high soot oxidation activity,recyclability and thermal *** work mainly attempts to emphasize the effectiveness of the facile,inexpensive and conventionally used precipitation method for the successful formation of highly efficient nano-composites.

The historical information of loadings on substation helps in evaluation of size of photovoltaic(PV)generation and energy storages for peak shaving and distribution system upgrade deferral. A method, based on consumption data, is proposed to separate the unusual consumption and to form the clusters of similar regular consumption. The method does optimal partition of the load pattern data into core points and border points, high and less dense regions, respectively. The local outlier factor, which does not require fixed probability distribution of data and statistical measures, ranks the unusual consumptions on only the border points, which are a few percent of the complete data. The suggested method finds the optimal or close to optimal number of clusters of similar shape of load patterns to detect regular peak and valley load demands on different days. Furthermore,identification and characterization of features pertaining to unusual consumptions in load pattern data have been done on border points only. The effectiveness of the proposed method and characterization is tested on two practical distribution systems.

A number of optical sensing tools are now available and can potentially be used for refining need-based fertilizer nitrogen(n)topdressing *** for estimating field-specific fertilizer n needs are based on predictions of yield made while the crops are still growing in the *** present study was conducted to establish and validate yield prediction models using spectral indices measured with proximal sensing using GreenSeeker canopy reflectance sensor,soil and plant analyzer development(SPAD)chlorophyll meter,and two different types of leaf color charts(LCCs)for five basmati rice genotypes across different growth *** analysis was performed using normalized difference vegetation index(nDVI)recorded with GreenSeeker sensor and leaf greenness indices measured with SPAD meter and LCCs developed by Punjab Agricultural University,Ludhiana(India)(PAU-LCC)and the International Rice Research Institute,Philippines(IRRI-LCC).The exponential relationship between nDVI and grain yield exhibited the highest coefficient of determination(R^(2))and minimum normalized root mean square error(nRMSE)at panicle initiation stage and explained 38.3%–76.4%variation in yield using genotype-specific *** indices pooled for different genotypes were closely related to grain yield at all growth stages and explained53.4%–57.2%variation in grain *** different spectral indices with cumulative growing degree days(CGDD)decreased the accuracy of yield *** with days after transplanting(DAT),however,did not reduce or improve the predictability of *** ability of each model to predict grain yield was validated with an independent dataset collected from two experiments conducted at different sites with a range of fertilizer n *** nDVI-based genotype-specific models exhibited a robust linear correlation(R^(2)=0.77,nRMSE=7.37%,n=180)between observed and predicted grain yields only at 35 DAT(i.e.,panicle initiation stage)

The guinea pigs were dermally exposed to nickel (ni), sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) and in their combination for 7 and 14 days. The exposure to ni and SLS produced changes in enzymes and lipid peroxidation in kidney. The exposure to ni or SLS depicted slight changes while combined exposure to ni plus SLS exhibited more degenerative changes in kidney. The result of the study suggests that industrial workers and/or populations exposed simultaneously to ni and SLS produces more damage to kidney.

A new bacterial strain DMT-7 capable of selectively desulfurizing dibenzothiophene（DBT） was isolated from diesel contaminated *** DMT-7 was characterized and identified as Lysinibacillus sphaericus DMT-7（nCBI GenBank Accession ***496620） using 16S rDnA gene sequence *** desulfurized product of DBT,2-hydroxybiphenyl（2HBP）,was identified and confirmed by high performance liquid chromatography analysis and gas chromatography-mass spectroscopy analysis *** desulfurization kinetics revealed that DMT-7 started desulfurization of DBT into 2HBP after the lag phase of 24 hr,exponentially increasing the accumulation of 2HBP up to 15 days leading to approximately 60% desulfurization of the ***,further growth resulted into DBT *** induced culture of DMT-7 showed shorter lag phase of 6 hr and early onset of stationary phase within 10 days for desulfurization as compared to that of non-induced culture clearly indicating the inducibility of the desulfurization pathway of *** addition,Lysinibacillus sphaericus DMT-7 also possess the ability to utilize broad range of substrates as sole source of sulfur such as benzothiophene,3,4-benzo DBT,4,6-dimethyl DBT,and 4,6-dibutyl ***,Lysinibacillus sphaericus DMT-7 could serve as model system for efficient biodesulfurization of diesel and petrol.

Scattering media,such as diffused glass and biological tissue,are usually treated as obstacles in *** cope with the random phase introduced by a turbid medium,most existing imaging techniques recourse to either phase compensation by optical means or phase recovery using iterative algorithms,and their applications are often limited to two-dimensional *** contrast,we utilize the scattering medium as an unconventional imaging lens and exploit its lens-like properties for lensless threedimensional(3D)imaging with diffraction-limited *** spatially incoherent lensless imaging technique is simple and capable of variable focusing with adjustable depths of focus that enables depth sensing of 3D objects that are concealed by the diffusing ***-field imaging with diffraction-limited resolution is verified experimentally by a single-shot recording of the 1951 USAF resolution test chart,and 3D imaging and depth sensing are demonstrated by shifting focus over axially separated objects.

Mulberry thrips Pseudodendrothrips mori (niwa, 1908) is a major pest of mulberry trees recorded from different sericultural regions of the world. The thrips infestation affects the qualitative and quantitative characters of mulberry leaf, by direct feeding damage to leaves and the ingestion of sap, which in turn affects the silkworm cocoon crop. This is most harmful in dry climates and seasons when heavily attacked plants lose moisture heavily. Under these conditions infestation can seriously deplete yields. The seasonal population fluctuation and the degree of damage caused to the host plant are influenced by various environmental factors including climate, host-plant variety, topography, soil type, and management *** article attempts to review all available documents on mulberry thrips and to discuss the practical approaches for best control of this pest.
