Phlogopite solid-solutions have a wide pressure-temperature(P-T)stability field and are ubiquitous in a wide variety of geological settings,from deep lithosphere magmatic environments to upper crust metamorphic *** composition represents therefore a valuable physical-chemical archive and may provide important information regarding its crystallization and the petrogenesis of the *** this paper we examine the phlogopite phenocrysts from the well-known Fort Regent mica-bearing lamprophyre minette from ***(Island of Jersey,UK).Phlogopite phenocrystals from lamprophyres generally show normal-step and continuous compositional zoning,however those from the Fort Regent minette show a peculiar texture characterized by dark brown high-Ti(average TiO_(2)≈8.5 wt.%)cores en.eloped by euhedral low-to mid-amplitude zonation due to oscillatory contents in Ti,Fe and ***-barometry modelling based on biotite-only composition yields relatively high P-T estimates(T≈970±54℃at P≈0.73±0.13 GPa)for cores whereas lower values(T≈790±54℃at P≈0.29±0.13 GPa)are obtained for the outer *** temperatures(T≈1075±54℃)but extremely high and anomalous pressure values(P≈1.82±0.13 GPa)are obtained for the yellowish inner *** combination of electron micro probe(EmP)analysis and single-crystal infra-red(FTIR)imaging in the OH-stretching region shows that the exceptional and oscillatory Ti contents are due to the Ti-vacancy substitution,typical of crystallization and growth processes of HP/HT *** imaging provides additional insight for this process,confirming the dominant dioctahedral nature for the Ti-Fe-rich cores and outer *** of thermobaric estimates obtained from the phlogopite compositiononly model,based on the fine-scale compositional evolution,shows that pressure-temperature values from low-Ti high-mg domains should be carefully evaluated because the substitution mechanisms during the dark mica growth are not univocal

moringa oleifera is well known as a highly nutritious plant and a water purifier in fish *** fish has many impressive qualities making them very suitable for ***,this study aimed to evaluate the effect of supplementation of moringa oleifera aqueous extract(mOAE)at varying concentrations(0,100,200,and 400 mg/kg diet for 90 days)on growth performance,hematological,and some biochemical parameters of nile ***,histological changes and immunohistochemical expression of caspase 3 in gills and livers were *** enhancements(Pn the final weight,weight gain,specific growth rate,red blood cells,hemoglobin,packed cell volume,white blood cells,and total serum protein were observed in fish fed 200 mg mOAE/kg diet compared with other ***,a significant reduction(Pnd kidney function tests and non-significant changes in lipid profile were *** the other hand,fish fed 400 mg mOAE/kg diet revealed disturbance in the corresponding *** histological degenerative changes were detected in the gills and liver of fish fed 400 mg mOAE/kg *** comparison,fish fed 200 mg mOAE/kg diet showed the best histo-architectures of these organs compared with other *** immune expressions of caspase 3 were determined where gills and liver of fish fed 400 mg mOAE/kg diet revealed extensive number of positive caspase 3 cells indicating severe apoptotic ***,a dietary mOAE at 200 mg/kg diet is recommended to improve the growth performance,hematological parameters,liver and kidney functions in nile ***,caution must be considered when using mOAE at a concentration over 200 mg/kg diet.

Lung cancer remains a major concern in modern oncology due to its high mortality rates and multifaceted origins, including hereditary factors and various clinical changes. It stands as the deadliest type of cancer and a significant cause of cancer-related deaths globally. Early diagnosis enables healthcare providers to administer appropriate treatment measures promptly and accurately, leading to improved prognosis and higher survival rates. The significant increase in both the incidence and mortality rates of lung cancer, particularly its ranking as the second most prevalent cancer among women worldwide, underscores the need for comprehensive research into efficient screening methods. Advances in diagnostic techniques, particularly the use of computed tomography (CT) scans, have revolutionized the identification of lung cancer. CT scans are renowned for their ability to provide high-resolution images and are particularly effective in detecting small, calcified areas, crucial for identifying early-stage lung cancer. Consequently, there is growing interest in enhancing computer-aided detection (CAD) systems. These algorithms assist radiologists by reducing false-positive interpretations and improving the accuracy of early cancer diagnosis. This study aims to enhance the effectiveness of CAD systems through various methods. Initially, the Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE) algorithm is employed to preprocess CT scan images, thereby improving their visual quality. Further refinement is achieved by integrating different optimization strategies with the CLAHE method. The Cutmix data augmentation technique is applied to boost the performance of the proposed model. A comparative analysis is conducted using deep learning architectures such as Inception-V3, Resnet101, Xception, and Efficientnet. The study evaluates the performance of these architectures in image classification tasks, both with and without the implementation of the CLAHE algorithm. The em

We report on the structural,magnetic,and magnetocaloric properties of *** oxidation states of Eu and Rh ions were studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）.It is found that the Eu ions are mainly in the divalent oxidation state while the Rh ions have+4 ***3powders are found to be antiferromagnetic with a second order magnetic transition at n.el temperature（Tn=2.9 K）.Analysis of the magnetic susceptibility versus temperature data in terms of the Curie=Weiss law:(χ=C/（T-θW）) for T>Tn,yields θW=-3.1 K and effective magne tic moment ■,which is close to the theoretical value ■.The magnetic entropy change(-ΔSm),was determined by em ploying the thermodynam ic maxwell's *** μ0H=5 T and near Tn,■ and relative cooling power（RCP） exhibit large values of 33.7 J/（kg·K） and 238 J/kg,*** large magnitude of-ΔSmand RCP show that the EuRhO3compound could be a potential candidate to be used in cryogenic magnetic refrigeration.

In this paper,we investigate the existence of solutions and analyze the large-time behavior for Gurtin-maccamy population model involving conformable fractional *** a preliminary step,we construct a generic structure of the solution associated with our proposed model by utilizing some basic properties and tools of conformable fractional *** establish the existence of a unique solution of the given model with the given initial *** last,by using the upper and lower solutions for the characteristic equation,we define the upper and lower boundaries for the obtained solution and describe the large-time behavior of the total population.

Landau quantization effects on damping Kawahara solitons in.electron–positron–ion plasma in rotating ionized medium

For the dynamics of three-dimensional electron–positron–ion plasmas, a fluid quantum hydrodynamic model is proposed by considering Landau quantization effects in dense ***–neutral collisions in the presence of the Coriolis force are also considered. The application of the reductive perturbation technique produces a wave evolution equation represented by a damped Korteweg–de Vries equation. This equation, however, is insufficient for describing waves in our system at very low dispersion coefficients. As a result, we considered the highest-order perturbation, which resulted in the damped Kawahara equation. The effects of the magnetic field, Landau quantization, the ratio of positron density to electron density, the ratio of positron density to ion density, and the direction cosine on linear dispersion laws as well as soliton and conoidal solutions of the damped Kawahara equation are explored. The understanding from this research can contribute to the broader field of astrophysics and aid in the interpretation of observational data from white dwarfs.

Due to the increased demand for energy resources these days,especially due to the Russian-Ukrainian war,the focus of the major countries is turning strongly towards improving oil production,especially heavy and extra heavy oil,which represents 40%of the world oil ***-based and thermal(EOR)procedures are promising techniques for recovering heavy oil reservoirs,but they suffer from a sequence of problems and complications that arise after long-term *** complications comprise steam breakthrough,steam overlap,and steam/rock *** research presents the currently applied techniques to maximize the productivity of heavy oil,such as steam injection,cyclic steam stimulation,in-situ combustion,and steam-assisted gravity *** technologies face numerous obstacles,as they are energy and water-intensive processes that are not environmentally *** research also presents future trends in energy-saving and environmentally friendly techniques that enhance heavy oil recovery through vapor extraction(VAPEX)steam-solvent hybrid techniques,electromagnetic energy,sonication,and *** findings of this review reported that all the presented techniques focus on how to reduce the oil viscosity and in-situ upgrade the crude oil *** turn,these enhance both the productivity rate and oil recovery and minimize the production *** article can be considered a comprehensive review of thermal recovery methods in heavy and extra-heavy oil,in addition to screening criteria used for each method.

Experimental validation of double-fed induction generator in oscillating water column using circulatory system-based optimization

This paper validates the optimal operation for a grid-connected double-fed induction generator(DFIG)in an oscillating water column power plant(OWCPP).This study presents a novel optimization technique called the circulatory system-based optimization(CSBO)approach to develop six adaptive fuzzy logic controllers(AFLCs)with 30 parameters and compare them to chaotic-billiards optimization(C-BO)and genetic algorithm(GA).The proposed controller is also compared with a proportional-integral differential(PID)controller based on a self-adaptive global-best harmony search(SGHS).CSBO-based AFLCs are fully investigated under different scenarios and experimented with using a real-time interface *** results of using CSBO-AFLCs revealed a fast time response,fast convergence,less overshoot and minimal error compared with those achieved with C-BO-AFLC,SGHS-PID and GA-AFLC during different case *** CSBO-based AFLCs ensure maximum power from the DFIG in an OWCPP and enhance dynamic response with very low *** results show that the CSBO shows better power tracking by 25%as compared with C-BO,by 45%when compared with the GA and by 56%when compared with ***,the integral absolute errors of six controllers are investigated to demonstrate the feasibility of *** root mean square of the errors of six controllers using CSBO is improved by 68.27%when compared with GA,by 22.57%when compared with C-BO and by 38.42%when compared with *** indicators demonstrate the feasibility of CSBO when compared with other algorithms with the same OWCPP.

Egyptian species of the leafhopper genus Exitianus Ball,1929,***(St?l,1855),***(Distant,1908),and *** Ross,1968 are ***,morphological descriptions,and a key for their identification are *** this study,we used molecular techniques to confirm morphological identification and detect phylogeny among the three Exitianus *** partial nucleotide sequences of the amplified products obtained were determined by macrogen *** nucleotide sequences of 28S rDnA and COX genes of the EGY-ARC-9,EGY-ARC-4,and EGY-ARC-5 were determined by macrogen Korea,blasted into BLAST at the national Center for Biotechnology Information website(nCBI)and compared with those deposited in the GenBank DnA *** results represented the homology percentage between the partial sequences of the 28S rRnA and COX genes from each species and related species obtained from GenBank DnA *** morphological identifications of the three Exitianus species were confirmed by molecular characterization and sequencing of 28S rDnA and COX genes and identified as ***,***,and ***,their sequences of 28srDnA and COX genes were deposited in GenBank with an accession number(LC670610,LC670607,and OQ196105)for 28srDnA gene and(LC775357,LC775358,and LC775359)for the COX gene.

Water stress is a critical environmental adversity that significantly impacts the growth,development,and yield of flax *** this study,flax seeds were cultivated under different water irrigation requirements(WIR)(100%,75%,and 50%)to investigate the effects of exogenously supplied nitric oxide(nO)donor sodium nitroprusside(SnP)as foliar treatments at concentrations of 0.0 mmol/L,0.5 mmol/L,1.0 mmol/L,and 2.0 mmol/*** stress led to a significant decrease in plant growth,photosynthetic pigments,yield components such as oil and total carbohydrate *** also resulted in an increase in leaf H2O2 production,lipid peroxidation levels and activities of enzymatic antioxidants including polyphenol oxidase,superoxide dismutase,and nitrate reductase ***,foliar application of SnP improved photosynthetic pigments and antioxidant defense system which mitigated the negative impact of water stress on growth and yield productivity by reducing oxidative damage caused by reactive oxygen species *** use of SnP also decreased H_(2)O_(2) accumulation levels,lipid peroxidation levels,and improved membrane *** treatment at concentration of 2 mmol/L showed superior results compared to other concentrations with extremely significant increases observed in yield characteristics such as oil content,total carbohydrate percentages,and unsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids ratio.
