Internet of Things(IoT)and blockchain receive significant interest owing to their applicability in different application areas such as healthcare,finance,transportation,*** image security and privacy become a critical part of the healthcare sector where digital images and related patient details are communicated over the public *** paper presents a new wind driven optimization algorithm based medical image encryption(WDOA-MIE)technique for blockchain enabled IoT *** WDOA-MIE model involves three major processes namely data collection,image encryption,optimal key generation,and data ***,the medical images were captured from the patient using IoT ***,the captured images are encrypted using signcryption *** addition,for improving the performance of the signcryption technique,the optimal key generation procedure was applied by WDOA *** goal of the WDOA-MIE algorithm is to derive a fitness function dependent upon peak signal to noise ratio(PSnR).Upon successful encryption of images,the IoT devices transmit to the closest server for storing it in the blockchain *** performance of the presented method was analyzed utilizing the benchmark medical image *** security and the performance analysis determine that the presented technique offers better security with maximum PSnR of 60.7036 dB.

Marine Bacterial Biofilms in Bioremediation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons(PAHs) Under Terrestrial Condition in a Soil Microcosm

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons （PAHs） in soil retain for a quite long period due to their hydrophobicity and aggregation properties. Biofilm-forming marine bacterial consortium （named as nCPR）, composed of Stenotrophomonas acidaminiphila nCW702, Alcaligenes faecalis nCW402, Pseudomonas mendocina nR802, Pseudornonas aeruginosa n6P6, and Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes nP103, was used for the bioremediation of PAHs in a soil microcosm. Phenanthrene and pyrene were used as reference PAHs. Parameters that can affect PAH degradation, such as chemotaxis, solubility of PAHs in extracellular polymeric substances （EPS）, and catechol 2,3-dioxygenase （C230） activity, were evaluated. P. aeruginosa n6P6 and P. pseudoalcaligenes nP103 showed chemotactic movement towards both the reference PAHs. The solubility of both the PAHs was increased with an increase in EPS concentration （extracted from all the 5 selected isolates）. Significantly （P 〈 0.001） high phenanthrene （70.29%） and pyrene （55.54%） degradation was observed in the bioaugmented soil microcosm. The C230 enzyme activity was significantly （P 〈 0.05） higher in the bioaugmented soil mi- crocosm with phenanthrene added at 173.26 ± 2.06 nmol rain-1 mg-1 protein than with pyrene added at 61.80 ± 2.20 nmol min-1 mg-1 protein. The C230 activity and gas chromatography-mass spectrometer analyses indicated catechol pathway of phenanthrene metabolism. However, the metabolites obtained from the soil microcosm added with pyrene revealed both the catechol and phthalate pathways for pyrene degradation.

Dielectric and physico-chemical behavior of single thermally thick wood blocks under microwave assisted pyrolysis

Pyrolysis of thermally thick beech wood blocks with a size of around 2.5×8×6 cm^(3)(width×length×height)was carried out in a lab scale microwave reactor with a frequency of 2.45 GHz,operated,both,at 300 W and 600 W under inert conditions,using n_(2) at around 400 mbar absolute *** microwave cavity had a size of 20×20×20 cm^(3).The specific energy supply referred to the untreated wood block was 4-8 W/g,with slight variations depending on the initial water *** mass loss and the reflected microwave power were in-situ monitored during the *** sample surface and chamber temperatures were measured with a pyrometer and a thermocouple,***-chemical and dielectric properties of the produced solids were investigated and compared to those of chars produced under conventional pyrolysis using the same raw *** is shown that the complex dielectric permittivity of the solid products changed drastically during the pyrolysis process,with increasing heating properties as the conversion process *** was easily achieved using 60o W without ***,300 W was not enough to achieve a high conversion degree,independently of the irradiation ***,together with the physico-chemical analyses of the solids,hinted to the importance of the transport kinetics in thermally thick materials,although further investigationis still required.

Aim:The aim of this study is to compare disease-free survival(DFS)and overall survival(OS)in patients with stage I cervical cancer(≤4cms,lymph node-negative)undergoing open radical hysterectomy(ORH)*** invasive radical hysterectomy(MIRH).Methods:All patients undergoing radical hysterectomy between January 2012-December 2018 from the largest tertiary referral cancer centre were included.A 1:1 propensity matching was done based on four independent prognostic factors to compare DFS and OS with the route of ***:One hundred and ninety-nine patients were included during the study *** median age of the cohort was 50 *** median follow-up of patients was 47 *** 1:1 propensity matching,a total of 174 patients were analysed for DFS and OS in ORH(n=87)and MIRH(n=87)*** measure was used in two-thirds of the patients during ***-nine patients(16.7%)had *** the matched cohort(n=174),the DFS at 36 and 60 months was 84.8%(78.1%-89.6%)and 81%(73.4%-86.6%)respectively and the OS was 96.5%(91.7%-98.5%)and 95.6%(90.3%-98%)*** was no statistically significant difference in DFS or OS between ORH and ***:The present study showed no difference in oncological outcomes in MIRH compared to *** audits on patient characteristics such as screening/vaccination history along with surgical technique/load and matching for crucial risk factors should be factored in future studies to eliminate the possible methodological errors.
