Influence of temporal fluctuations of both electron density and external magnetic field fluctuations on scattered ordinary and extraordinary waves in magnetized plasma is investigated using the ray-(optics) method. Transport equation for frequency fluctuations of scattered radiation has been derived. Broadening of the spatial power spectrum and amplification of the intensity of frequency fluctuation taking into account geometry of the task and the features of turbulent magnetized plasma is analyzed for the anisotropic gaussian correlation function using the remote sensing data. It is shown that spatial-temporal fluctuations of electron density and external magnetic field, anisotropy and angle of inclination of prolate irregularities relative to the external magnetic field may lead to the exponential amplification of the intensity of frequency fluctuations of scattered electromagnetic waves in the collisional magnetized plasma.

Conventional or traditional methods for the use of food processing have been outperformed by novel approaches recently. One such promising technology is ultra-sonication and recent studies have shown better effects in physical characteristics of food which are induced by ultrasound. The previous researches further emphasize that the introduction of ultra-sonication on dairy proteins has resulted in the improvement of their structural, physical and chemical properties while it is widely used in hydrocolloid systems to accelerate the gelation process. Therefore this theory could be useful for the gelation of milk proteins in the presence of a polysaccharide. After discussing briefly on hydrocolloids and the theory of ultrasound, the possibility and the impact of ultrasound on gelation of milk protein mixtures with Carrageenan is highlighted in this study. The inherent characteristics of both milk proteins and carrageenan and properties of the ultrasound treatment have cumulatively effect on gelation. Therefore, there is a necessity to develop specific variables depending on the type of dairy product.

Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) is an important forage and conservation crop in north America but occurrences of naturalized alfalfa in rangelands are rare. A naturalized population of yellow-flowered alfalfa in mixed-grass prairie on the grand River national grassland in South Dakota has potential agricultural value for the region. Despite this value, the distribution pattern of this alfalfa among and within native plant communities in the northern great Plains is unknown. Field studies were conducted from 2003 through 2006 along topographic positions at two sites where yellow-flowered alfalfa was naturalized to evaluate the relationships of yellow-flowered alfalfa on biomass production, cover, species diversity, and alfalfa seedbank distribution characteristics. High yellow-flowered alfalfa cover (>50%) was associated with increased total biomass and occurred exclusively in swales and toeslopes that had silty loam soils. However, species diversity and non-alfalfa biomass were reduced when yellow-flowered alfalfa cover was high. Yellow-flowered alfalfa cover was lower and species richness was higher on backslopes and shoulder areas where sandy loam soils were present. A strong positive linear association existed between yellow-flowered alfalfa cover and alfalfa seedbank density (r values ranged from 0.76 to 0.82, P greater than 99% of the seeds were viable but germination rate was only 4%, indicating a high percentage of hard seed in this alfalfa population. naturalized yellow-flowered alfalfa was a dominant component of a stable, low diversity plant community composed of mainly introduced species in rich soils of swales/toeslopes that contributed to forage production and quality in mixed-grass prairie in the northern great Plains.

Polysulfone (PSF) membranes are frequently used in ultrafiltration, due totheirchemical and structural stability and mechanical robustness. Despite these advantages, successful utilization of this membrane technology has been greatly limited by the susceptibility of these membranes to fouling, due totheirhydrophobic nature. Here we report on the synthesis and characterisation of hydrophilic PSF membrane materials prepared by incorporation of polyvinyl alcohol, through chemical crosslinking to produce mechanically and chemically stable PSF hydrogels. The hydrogel composition was controlled at three different ratios to evaluate the effect of the PSF contributioni.e.25:75, 50:50 and 75:25. PSF hydrogels were characterized using high resolution scanningelectronmicroscopy (HR-SEM), cyclicvoltammetry (CV), and drop shape analysis techniques. The polysulfone hydrogels formed showed a decrease in contact angle by 50% for all hydrogels regardless of their polysulfone contribution, confirming an improvement in hydrophilic nature. The electron diffusion and ionic transport properties of thehydrogels as immobilised thin films in aqueous solutions,wereevaluated using cyclic voltammetry.

InTRODUCTIOnThe Indian Pulp & Paper Industry is more than a century old industry . The first paper mill was established in the year 1832 and today the number has grown to more than 400 in the organised sector which are located through out the country . In addition there are another 500 pulp & paper mills in the unorganized sector. The Indian pulp & paper industry can be categorised into large, medium and small depending on the scale of operation as indicated in Table -IMost of the large mills established initially were based on woody raw materials.

Background:Pavement-street contact burns are *** study compared recent contact burns to those published in“Pavement temperature and burns:Streets of Fire”in *** hypothesis was that there were a significantly increased number of pavement-street burns,as a result of increased ambient temperatures,and that motor vehicle crash(MVC)contact burns were less severe than pavements-street ***:This was a retrospective burn center registry study of naturally heated surface contact burns during May to September from 2016 to *** analyses were performed with one-way analysis of variance(AnOVA)and Maximum Likelihood chi-squared for age,percent of total burn surface area(%TBSA),treatment,hospitalization,comorbidities,hospital charges,mortality,ambient,and surface temperatures(pavement,asphalt,rocks).Results:In the 1995 study,median ambient temperatures were 106(range 100–113)°F compared to the 108(range 86–119)°F highest noon temperature in the current *** ambient temperature differences were recorded on days with pavement burn admissions compared to days without these *** were 225 pavement,27 MVC,15 road rash,and 103 other contact *** major injuries in the pavement group were due to being“down”(unknown reason),falls,and *** to the others,the pavement group was older,56+years,pnd had smaller burns but similar length of *** percent of the 225 pavement group patients with full-thickness burns required skin *** were 13(6%)fatalities in the pavement group vs 1(4%)in the MVC group,p=*** were secondary to sepsis,shock,cardiac,respiratory,or kidney *** to survivors,the non-survivors had a significantly higher%TBSA(10%vs 4%),p=0.01,and lower glasgow Coma Scores(10 vs 15),p=***:There was a median 2°F increase in ambient temperature since *** increase in pavement burn admissions was multi-factorial:higher temperatures,population,and the number of old

Most of the aromatic rice cultivars are susceptible to disease, insect-pest attack and are more prone to lodging. Therefore, nitrogen is the key input for increasing the productivity of aromatic rice. Research analyzing the effects of n level on yield and quality characteristics of modem aromatic cultivars in the north-western Indo-gangetic Plains is not well documented. Therefore, the present study was conducted to optimise the n levels for higher yield and better quality of the modem aromatic rice cultivars. The mean grain yield increased by 22.5% when plots were supplemented with 40 kg/ha of n application as compared to control （unfertilized）. Among cultivars, Punjab Mehak 1 registered highest yield （5.3 t/ha） followed by Pusa Basmati 1121 （4.78 t/ha） and Punjab Basmati 2 （4.66 t/ha） respectively. Interactive effect between n levels and cultivars on grain yield revealed that in Punjab Mehak l, grain yield responded significantly up to 60 kg/ha of n application as compared to Pusa Basmati 1121 and Punjab Basmati 2 where it responded only upto 40 kg/ha of n application. All the quality characteristic found to be improved with n application, whereas amylose content decreased with 60 kg/ha of n application as compared to 20 and 40 kg/ha of n application.
