The effect of replacing the anion from n to Bi down the group in the periodic table is investigated on SrMg2X2（X = n,P,As,Sb,Bi）.A full potential linearized augmented plane wave plus local orbitals method is used along with different exchange–correlation potentials to obtain the lattice constants,phonons,electronic,and optical properties of the Sr Mg2X2（X = n,P,As,Sb,Bi） Zintl compounds.A good agreement is achieved and our calculations are validated by previous experimental and theoretical *** compounds have shown stable dynamical behavior with gamma centered longitudinal response having no imaginary *** band structures reveal the semiconducting nature of the *** Pnictogen（X）-p state contributed mainly in the valence band and the Sr-d state forms the conduction of the *** charge transfer and low overlapping of the atomic densities indicates the preferable ionic bonding character of these *** the optical properties,real and imaginary parts of dielectric function,complex refractive index,birefringence,reflectivity,and optical conductivity are *** compounds can be utilized in the optical and optoelectronic devices.

Mild cognitive impairment(MCI)is a precursor to Alzheimer’s *** is imperative to develop a proper treatment for this neurological disease in the aging *** observational study investigated the effects of acupuncture therapy on MCI *** healthy individuals and eleven MCI patients were recruited for this ***-and deoxy-hemoglobin signals in the prefrontal cortex during working-memory tasks were monitored using functional near-infrared *** acupuncture treatment,working-memory experiments were conducted for healthy control(HC)and MCI groups(MCI-0),followed by 24 sessions of acupuncture for the MCI *** acupuncture sessions were initially carried out for 6 weeks(two sessions per week),after which experiments were performed again on the MCI group(MCI-1).This was followed by another set of acupuncture sessions that also lasted for 6 weeks,after which the experiments were repeated on the MCI group(MCI-2).Statistical analyses of the signals and classifications based on activation maps as well as temporal features were *** highest classification accuracies obtained using binary connectivity maps were 85.7%HC ***-0,69.5%HC ***-1,and 61.69%HC *** classification accuracies using the temporal features mean from 5 seconds to 28 seconds and maximum(i.e,max(5:28 seconds))values were 60.6%HC ***-0,56.9%HC ***-1,and 56.4%HC *** results reveal that there was a change in the temporal characteristics of the hemodynamic response of MCI patients due to *** was reflected by a reduction in the classification accuracy after the therapy,indicating that the patients’brain responses improved and became comparable to those of healthy subjects.A similar trend was reflected in the classification using the image *** results indicate that acupuncture can be used for the treatment of MCI patients.

We study the electromagnetically induced-absorption-like(EIA-like) effect for an n-type system in an ^(87)Rb Bose–Einstein condensate(BEC) using the absorption imaging technique for coupling and driving lasers operating at the D_1 and D_2 lines of ^(87)Rb. The coherent effect is probed by measuring the number of atoms remaining after the BEC is exposed to strong driving fields and a weak probe field. The absorption imaging technique accurately reveals the EIA-like effect of the n-type system. This coherent effect in an n-type system is useful for optical storage, tunable optical switching, and so on.

In the Kachchh Mainland, the Jumara Dome mixed carbonate-siliciclastic succession is represented by the Jhurio and Patcham formations and siliciclastic-dominating Chari Formation(Bathonian to Oxfordian). The Jumara Dome sediments were deposited during sea-level fluctuating, and were interrupted by storms in the shallow marine environment. The sandstones are generally medium-grained, moderately sorted, subangular to subrounded and of low sphericity. The sandstones are mineralogically mature and mainly composed of quartzarenite and subarkose. The plots of petrofacies in the Qt-F-L, Qm-F-Lt, Qp-Lv-Ls and Qm-P-K ternary diagrams suggest mainly the basement uplift source(craton interior) in rifted continental margin basin setting. The sandstones were cemented by carbonate, iron oxide and silica overgrowth. The Chemical Index of Alteration values(73% sandstone and 81% shale) indicate high weathering conditions in the source area. Overall study suggests that such strong chemical weathering conditions are of unconformity with worldwide humid and warm climates during the Jurassic period. Positive correlations between Al2O3 and Fe2O3, TiO2, na2O, MgO, K2O are evident. A high correlation coefficient between Al2O3 and K2O in shale samples suggests that clay minerals control the major oxides. The analogous contents of Si, Al, Ti, LREE and TTE in the shale to PAAS with slightly depleted values of other elements ascribe a PAAS like source(granitic gneiss and minor mafics) to the present study. The petrographic and geochemical data strongly suggest that the studied sandstones/shales were deposited on a passive margin of the stable intracratonic basin.

A field study was conducted to evaluate the protozoan colonization patterns on artificial substrates in relation to organic pollution within a tropical harbour. The composition of protozoans and their succession rates on artificial substrates(polyurethane foam units) were compared between two field stations(A and B), and their presence were considered with regards to the prevailing water quality conditions at the study sites. Altogether 44 genera of flagellates and ciliates were documented. The common genera of flagellates encountered included Monas, Polytoma, and Chromalina. Among the ciliates, the predominant genera were Tetrahymena, Vorticella, Lagynophyra, and Heloiphyra. These groups exhibited characteristic successional patterns in relation to ambient water quality. At Station A, located close to the sewage outfall, the water quality parameters included poor Secchi disc transparency(0.48m), dissolved oxygen of 1.93 mg/ml, salinity of 18 psu, and temperature 31.3 ℃. Here, the nanoflagellates( spumella ) colonized first, followed by microcilliate( Tetrahymena ) and sessile form( Vorticella ). Station B, located on the seaward side, was characterized by relatively less stressed environmental conditions with transparency 1.85m and dissolved oxygen value of 6 04 mg/ml. Salinity of 27.27 psu, and mean temperature of 30 ℃ were recorded at “B'. At this station, the nanoflagellate Polytoma was first documented to colonize on the substrates, followed by microcilliate( Lagynophrya ) and suctorid( Heliophyra ). These findings support the use of protozoans as indicator species for evaluating the hazards posed by organic pollution to natural estuarine communities.

A series of novel unsymmetrical n-（4-oxo-2-phenyl-3（4H）-quinazolinoyl）-n-（aryl） acetamidines was synthesized by reacting ethyl（1H）-n-（4-oxo-2-phenylquinazolin-3（4H）-y1）ethanimidoate（2） and suitable reactive aromatic ***＇ determination of the synthesized compounds was carried out using spectroscopic techniques including IR,~1H nMR,and mass spectrometry. Structural effects on reactivity were also studied.

Herein,we report the fabrication of Fe_(3)O_(4)@TiO_(2) nanosheet/Ag/g-C_(3)n_(4)(Fe_(3)O_(4)@ns-TiO_(2)/Ag/g-C_(3)n_(4))composite photocatalysts with well-designed hierarchical yolk-shell *** endow the composites with fascinating features,multiple functional components are perfectly integrated into the definite *** photodegradation experiments of organic pollutants revealed a significant enhancement in photocatalytic activity of developed composites as compared to P25,which is mainly due to the synergetic interaction of the tailored three-dimensional(3D)yolk-shell porous nanostructure,extended sunlight response range,and retarded the recombination probability of photogenerated *** importantly,the hybrid samples exhibited superior magnetic properties due to the magnetic *** excellent magnetic recyclability and reusability of the photocatalysts are verified by the magnetic hysteresis loop and cyclic photocatalytic degradation experiments,which is significant for the green and sustainable applications of *** its remarkable photocatalytic performance and expectant magnetic recyclability,the composite photocatalysts are expected to be a promising candidate to dispose of future environmental issues.
