The n.il plate forms a barrier that limits the effectiven.ss of drug delivery in.the treatmen. of n.il diseases an. preven.s the outflow of fluid in.the case of subun.ual hematoma formation. Microperforation.of the n.il plate through laser radiation.can.in.rease the effectiven.ss of drug delivery an. en.ure the possibility of blood outflow. This study detected an. iden.ified the type an. threshold of effects that arise from exposin. the n.il plate to Yb,Er： Glass （λ = 1.54 μm） an. Er：YLF （λ= 2.81 μm） laser radiation. The rate an. efficien.y of n.il plate ablation.by the radiation.of these lasers were studied. The effect of the storage time of a freshly extracted n.il plate in.open.air on.its ablation.rate by Er：YLF （ λ=2.81 μm） laser radiation.was also in.estigated. The impact of the Yb,Er：Glass an. Er：YLF laser pulses on.the n.il plate caused bleachin., carbon.zation. ablation.with microcrater formation. an. microperforation. The laser en.rgy den.ities WE （thresholds） required for these effects were determin.d. The maximum ablation.rate for Yb,Er：Glass laser radiation.was 8 μm/pulse at WE = 91 ±2 J/cm2, whereas that for Er：YLF laser radiation.was 12 μm/ pulse at WE= 10.5＋0.5 J/cm2. The maximum ablation.efficien.y for Yb,Er：Glass laser radiation.was 0.1 μm/mJ at Ws = 10.5±0.5 J/cm2, whereas that for Er：YLF laser radiation.was 4.6 μm/mJ at WE = 5.3±0.3 J/cm2. The laser ablation.rate depen.s on.the storage time an. con.ition. of the freshly extracted n.il plate. For example, when.exposed to Er：YLF laser radiation. the laser ablation.rate decreased by half from the in.tial maximum value in.96 h of air storage an. return.d to the in.tial value after 1 h of storage in.distilled water.

The structure an. properties of the n.w (Al，Cu)4Ca， Al27Ca3Cu7， an. Al8CaCu4in.ermetallic compoun.s in.equilibrium with alumin.m solid solution.in.the n.w tern.ry Al-Ca-Cu alloyin. system have been.comprehen.ively an.lyzed. The (Al，Cu)4Ca in.ermetallic compoun. was treated as a lin. phase based on.the Al4Ca phase with Cu substituted by Al. The solubility of copper in.the compoun. reaches 10 at.% or 19 wt.% which leads to marked chan.es in.the crystal lattice structure， physical an. mechan.cal properties of the compoun.. For in.tan.e， the den.ity of the compoun. in.reases from 2.22 g/cm3to 2.79 g/cm3an. the microhardn.ss from 180 to 250 Hv. The Al27Ca3Cu7phase was treated as a strict stoichiometric tern.ry compoun. with a primitive BaHg11type crystal structure of the Pm3m spacegroup. The lattice parameter is accepted to be ～8.514 ? correspon.in. to a den.ity of ～3.45 g/cm3. The Al8CaCu4phase is also a strict stoichiometric tern.ry compoun. with a tetragon.l crystal lattice structure of the Mn.2Th type. The phase has the highest microhardn.ss (～505 Hv) an. den.ity (4.57 g/cm3). The alloys pertain.n. to the bin.ry (Al) +(Al，Cu)4Ca phase field an. the quasi-bin.ry (Al)+Al27Ca3Cu7section.can.be con.idered promisin. as the base for n.w n.tural alumin.m matrix composites.

This work is focused on.the determin.tion.of the optimal reaction.con.ition. to syn.hesize the ion.c liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride([EMIM][Cl]) an. assess its suitability for the pretreatmen. of rice husk. The modified Un.FAC(Un.versal quasi-chemical Fun.tion.l-group Activity Coefficien.s)approach for ion.c liquids is used to develop a thermodyn.mic model that describes the reactive system methylimidazole(MIM), chloroethan.(C_(2)H_(5)Cl) an. [EMIM][Cl]. The model allows to study the phase equilibria coexisten.e(vapor–liquid equilibria an. solid–liquid equilibria) an. yields the theoretically optimal con.ition. to syn.hesize the ion.c liquid. The model prediction. are validated with the available experimen.al an. reported data. By implemen.in. the developed model, a simple way to syn.hesize ion.c liquid [EMIM][Cl] was foun. allowin. to study its in.luen.e on.the structure an. morphology of pretreated rice husk. The lign.cellulosic materials in.olved in.this study are characterized by their composition. en.ymatic digestibility, scan.in. electron.microscopy, an. crystallin.ty. Compared to un.reated material, [EMIM][Cl]-pretreated rice husk produces cellulose that can.be efficien.ly en.ymatic hydrolyzed with high sugar yields. This work offers a suitable methodology to in.lude the syn.hesis an. thermodyn.mics of the solven. media within.the design.of low-cost ion.c liquids for lign.cellulosic biomass pretreatmen..

There has been.an.immen.e en.eavor to mitigate global warmin. in.spite of which it has on.y been.worse. This paper presen.s the design.an. imple- men.ation.of a low power an. eco-frien.ly refrigeration.system usin. the thermoelectric effect. The con.en.ion.l refrigerators make use of complex mechan.sms which in.olves syn.hron.us operation.of various un.ts, n.mely the compressor, con.en.ers, expan.ion.valves, evaporator, refi＇igeran. an. so on. But a thermoelectric refrigerator exploits the prin.iple of the Peltier effect, thus avoidin. the utilization.of these complex compon.n.s. This even.helps curb the release of harmful chlorofluorocarbon. （CFCs） in.o the atmosphere which con.ributes to the in.rease in.global temperature. Moreover, the temperature can.be con.rolled an. set to required values with the help of a microcon.roller. Hen.e, this can.be used both for domestic an. commercial purposes. The un.t does n.t eject an. harmful gases. Therefore, the heat expelled from the un.t can.be tapped for heatin. utilities, makin. the use of this device versatile in.its application. Thus this proposal aims n.t on.y at reducin. the air pollutan.s by n.t con.ributin. to it but also at reducin. the power con.umption.
