Fossil fuels cover around 80% of global energy consumption. However, the problems linked to their use justify the choice of using biofuel. In order to reduce as much as possible, diesel rate, an increase in the number of additives may be considered. Thus, in this work, the study of the used frying oil (UFO), bioethanol and diesel ternary system was undertaken. It emerges from this study that the addition of bioethanol reduces the viscosity and the density of the ternary system and permits a 90% substitution rate for diesel between the UFO and bioethanol. Finally, the percentage of oil becomes 40% after adding alcohol compared to the binary diesel crude vegetable oil mixture where this rate is 30%.

The rapid spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has led to general psychosis among the population in Ivory Coast. The medical profession, on the front line of the treatment, was in distress, given the risk of exposure to the patient. It is in this context that this study has set itself the objective of studying anxiety among caregivers involved in the management of people with COVID-19. This is a cross-sectional, descriptive and analytical study that included a sample of 50 stakeholders. It took place from July to September 2020 at the Treatment Center of the Village of Information Technologies and Biotechnology in Grand-Bassam (VITIB) and the Infectious Diseases Treatment Center (CTMI) of the University Hospital (CHU) of Cocody. The results indicate that caregivers were male in 52% of cases with an average age of 36 years. These are: doctors, nurses and caregivers respectively in the proportions of 18%, 42% and 40% with more than half (58%) who had more than 5 years of seniority. A proportion of 34% of caregivers felt they were insufficiently protected. The Hamilton Scale assessment of anxiety showed that 14% had mild anxiety, 6% moderate anxiety and 2% severe anxiety. There was no link between the degree of anxiety and professional seniority but also between the degree of anxiety and the marital situation. This work has therefore made it possible to see that anxiety is a real problem for caregivers dedicated to the management of COVID-19 patients.

Juvenile Delinquency and Psychopathic Behavior: About a Case in Abidjan

Violent and murderous juvenile delinquency born of the phenomenon of young people organized in gangs commonly called “microbes”, has become a real security problem for Ivorian society. It is in this context that this study has set itself the main objective of depicting the psychopathic behavior of a young “microbe” delinquent who has committed several violent crimes. It was a monographic study of the correlational-explanatory type that mobilized observation and semi-directive interviews for the production of data. The method of phenomenological analysis permits to detect traits of psychopathy in a 21-year-old youth through family history and accounts of criminal acts committed. The results of the study showed, on the one hand, a family dysfunction that gave the bed of behaviors such as the lack of empathy, the absence of remorse and the superficiality of the affects, thus translating a deficit on the level of the affective dimension. We also noted the presence of antisocial behavior such as living on the streets or in smoking rooms consuming and selling drugs. There were further implications such as theft, physical aggression and intentional homicide. According to the psychopathy literature, emotional insensitivity juxtaposed with behavior disorder was a primary combination of characteristics that help identify adolescents who exhibit psychopathic traits. Faced with this reality, this study pleads for the establishment of a special aid program to better control the deadly violence of these people.

Background: Some national and international strategies for the detection and prevention of emerging infectious diseases have been established across sectors. The capacity to carry out these tasks varies from country to country, and that remains largely undervalued. The Pasteur Institute of C?te d’Ivoire has created and implemented the capacity of national reference centers to fight against emerging and other infectious diseases. Objective: Show on the one hand the strategies used to develop the national Reference Centers and the IPCI and on the other hand the results obtained by performing these strategies. Method: Datas collection by documentary analysis (published scientific articles and grey literature) was done on Google Scholar, PUBMED and institutional reference documents. The documentary research was carried out to have a better understanding of strategies used to create and develop the nRCs in microbiology of communicable diseases. Results: Seven integrated strategies were launched: 1-training and workforce development;2-investigation of epidemics or public health events;3-strengthening laboratory epidemiological research;4-strengthening surveillance systems;5-improving communication with partners and stakeholders;6-building national and international collaborations;and 7-strengthening technical and technological platforms. In two decades, the number of researchers has risen from 10 in 2004 to ninety (90) in 2021, with 12 senior researchers and 32 junior researchers. A number of health service staff had attended a qualifying training course, 27 investigations into outbreaks and other public health events had been carried out, 18 short-term research projects had been launched, major surveillance programs and epidemiological research efforts on vector-borne, food-borne and nosocomial infections had begun, and several scientific manuscripts had been published or were edited in the writting press. In recent years, there has been an unprecedented rise in the performance of metal halide perovskite solar cells. The lead-free perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have drawn much research interest due to the Pb toxicity of the lead halide perovskite. CH3nH3SnI3 is a viable alternative to CH3nH3PbX3. In this work,?we designed a tin-based perovskite simulated model with the novel architecture of (TCO)/buffer (TiO2)/absorber (Perovskite)/hole transport material (HTM) and analyzed using the solar cell capacitance simulator (SCAPS-1D), which is well adapted to study the photovoltaic architectures. In the paper, we studied the influences of perovskite thickness and the doping concentration on the solar cell performance through theoretical analysis and device simulation. The results are indicating that the lead-free CH3nH3SnI3 is having the greatpotential to be an absorber layer with suitable inorganic hole transport materials?like CuI (PCE: 23.25%), Cu2O (PCE: 19.17%), organic hole transport materials?like spiro-OMETAD (PCE: 23.76%) and PTAA (PCE: 23.74%) to achieve high?efficiency. This simulation model will become a good guide for the fabrication?of high efficiency tin-based perovskite solar. The results show that the lead-free CH3nH3SnI3 is a potential environmentally friendly solar cells with high efficiency.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard Model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.
