The effect of the annealing temperature Ta on the optical, electrical and structural properties of the In2S3 films obtained by the spray pyrolysis method at 350℃ substrate temperature was studied. All the In2S3 films annealed in the range from 100 to 400℃ are polycrystalline with (220) preferential orientation. The resistivity decreases as Ta increases until it reaches a value of 25 Ohm-cm for Ta=400℃. The grain size also increases when Ta increases as observed in data calculated from X-ray measurements. XRD data indicates that samples show microstructural perfection improvement as a function of annealing temperature.

Some species of females,e.g.,chicken,bird,fish etc.,might mate with more than one *** the mating of these polygamous creatures,there is competition between males as well as among their ***,male reproductive success depends on both male competition and sperm *** by this type of sexual life of roosters with chickens,a novel nature-inspired optimization algorithm called Roosters Algorithm(RA)is *** algorithm was modelled and implemented based on the sexual behavior of roosters.13 well-known benchmark optimization functions and 10 IEEE CEC 2018 test functions are utilized to compare the performance of RA with the performance of well-known algorithms;Standard Genetic Algorithm(SGA),Differential Evolution(DE),Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO),Cuckoo Search(CS)and Grey Wolf Optimizer(GWO).Also,non-parametric statistical tests,Friedman and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Tests,were performed to demonstrate the significance of the *** 20 of the 23 functions that were tested,RA either offered the best results or offered similar results to other compared ***,in this paper,we not only present a novel nature-inspired algorithm,but also offer an alternative method to the well-known algorithms commonly used in the literature,at least as effective as them.

Objective To determine the metal contents of date palm （Pheonix dactylifera） samples in dry season from Denizli-Turkey for investigation of heavy metal-polluted traffic. Method The levels of iron, copper, zinc, lead, cadmium, nickel, chromium, and manganese ions in the leaves of thirty five date palm （Pheonix dactylifera） samples collected from various levels of traffic in the streets of Denizli-Turkey were determined by graphite furnace or flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The wet, dry, and microwave digestion procedures for the date palm （Pheonix dactylifera） leaves were compared. The accuracy of the digestion procedures was checked using a standard reference material （IAEA-336 Lichen, SRM）. Results Microwave digestion procedure for the leaves was preferred because it was more proper with respect to both time and recovery than dry and wet digestion. The levels of the heavy metal ions investigated were the highest on the samples from high traffic level. Also correlations between metal levels and traffic volume for all the metals were investigated. Conclusion In the light of our findings, the date palm （Phoenix dactylifera） leaves are suitable as a biomonitor for atmospheric heavy metal-polluted traffic. Significant correlations can be obtained between traffic levels and heavy metal concentrations.

Nuclear fusion is one of the world's primary energy sources. Studies on the structural fusion materials are very important in terms of the development of fusion technology. Chromium, nickel, zinc, scandium, titanium,and yttrium are important structural fusion materials. In this paper, for use in nuclear science and technology applications, the excitation functions of the ^(50)Cr(d, n)^(51)Mn,^(58)Ni(d, n)^(59)Cu,^(64)Zn(d, n)^(65)Ga,^(66)Zn(d, n)^(67)Ga,^(45)Sc(d,2n)^(45)Ti,^(47)Ti(d, 2n)^(47)V,^(48)Ti(d, 2n)^(48)V, and ^(89)Y(d, 2n)^(89)Zr nuclear reactions were investigated. The calculations that are based on the pre-equilibrium and equilibrium reaction processes were performed using ALICE–ASH computer code. A comparison with geometry-dependent hybrid model has been made using the initial exciton numbers n_0= 4–6 and level density parameters α = A/5; A/8; A/***, the present model-based calculations were compared with the cross sections obtained using the formulae suggested from our previous studies. Furthermore, the cross section results have been compared with TENDL data based on TALYS computer code and the measured data in the literature.

In this paper we consider an n-dimensional thermoelastic system with viscoelastic damping. We establish an explicit and general decay rate result without imposing restrictive assumptions on the behavior of the relaxation function at infinity. Our result allows a larger class of relaxation functions and generalizes previous results existing in the literature.

Objective To determine the metal contents of lichen species from East Black Sea region of Turkey for investigation of trace metal pollution sourced traffic. Methods The levels of copper, cadmium, lead, zinc, manganese, iron, chromium, nickel, cobalt, palladium in lichen samples collected from East Black Sea region of Turkey were determined by flame and graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry after microwave digestion method. The accuracy of the method was corrected by standard reference material （NIST SRM IAEA-336 Lichen）. Results The contents of invest!gated trace metals in lichen samples were 7.19-22.4 μg/g for copper, 0.10-0.64 μg/g for cadmium, 4.03-44.6 μg/g for lead, 14.5-41.8 μg/g for zinc, 25.8-208 μg/g for manganese, 331-436 μg/g for iron, 1.20-3.01 μg/g for chromium, 1.48-3.90 μg/g for nickel, 0.20-3.55 μg/g for cobalt, 0.11-0.64 μg/g for palladium. The results were compared with the literature values. Conclusion Some lichen species such as Xanthoparmelia conspersa, Xanthoria calcicola, Peltigera membranacea, and Physcia adscendens are accumulated trace metals at a high ratio.

This paper attempts to optimize optimal capacities, block routing and mine sequencing problems in a mining system. The solution approach is based on a heuristics and the mixed integer programming (MIP). Unlike previous sequential solution approaches, the problems are herein solved at the same time. Furthermore, the proposed approach guarantees practical solutions because it considers ore material distribution within orebody. The paper has two main contributions: (a) the proposed approach generates production rates in a manner that the capacities are satisfied; (b) the proposed approach does not use pre-defined marginal cut-off grades. Thus, idle capacity problem is eliminated and different scheduling combinations are allowed. To see the performance of the approach proposed, a case study is carried out using a gold data. The schedule generated shows that the approach can determine optimal production rates, block destination and sequencing effectively.

The aim of this experimental study is to investigate the effects of hydraulic parameters on the formation of air-entraining vortices at horizontal intake structures without approach flow induced circulation. Six intake pipes of different diameters were tested in the study. The intake pipe to be tested was horizontally mounted to the front side of a large reservoir and then for a wide range of discharges experiments were conducted and critical submergences were detected with adjustable approach channel sidewalls. Empirical equations were derived for the dimensionless critical submergence as a function of the relevant dimensionless parameters. Available data is also checked for the possible scale effect. Then, these obtained equations were compared with the similar ones in the literature which showed a quite good agreement.

The phase diagrams in the mixed spin-3/2 and spin-2 Ising system with two alternative layers on a honeycomb lattice are investigated and discussed by the use of the effective-field theory with correlations. The interaction of the nearest-neighbour spins of each layer is taken to be positive （ferromagnetic interaction） and the interaction of the adjacent spins of the nearest-neighbour layers is considered to be either positive or negative （ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic interaction）. The temperature dependence of the layer magnetizations of the system is examined to characterize the nature （continuous or discontinuous） of the phase transitions and obtain the phase transition temperatures. The system exhibits both second- and first-order phase transitions besides triple point （TP）, critical end point （E）, multicritical point （A）, isolated critical point （C） and reentrant behaviour depending on the interaction parameters. We have also studied the temperature dependence of the total magnetization to find the compensation points, as well as to determine the type of behaviour, and N-type behaviour in Neel classification nomenclature existing in the system. The phase diagrams are constructed in eight different planes and it is found that the system also presents the compensation phenomena depending on the sign of the bilinear exchange interactions.
