Coronary artery disease(CAD)is the major cause of morbidity and mortality in elderly patients.^([1])Despite this,elderly patients are under-represented in most trials of ***-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(NSTEMI)is a common cause of hospitalization among patients≥80 years of age,^([2])and with an aging global population,there is a pressing need to establish the optimal management strategy for these ***,we conducted a meta-analysis of all randomized control trials(RCTs)performed to date in patients≥80 years of age,comparing an initial invasive versus conservative strategy to provide insights into their optimal initial management strategy.

Aiming at multi-agent coordinated scheduling problems in power systems under uncertainty,a generic projection and decomposition(P&D)approach is proposed in this *** canonical min-max-min two-stage robust optimization(TSRO)model with coupling constraints is equivalent to a concise robust optimization(RO)model in the version of mixed-integer linear programming(MILP)via feasible region *** decentralized decoupling of the non-convex MILP problem is realized through a dual decomposition algorithm,which ensures the fast convergence to a high-quality solution in the distributed *** tests verify the superior performance of the proposed P&D approach over the existing distributed TSRO method.

Objective:To study the usage of anti-asthmatic dugs and enumerate the patients’ noncompliance. Methods:The study was conducted from 5th Feb,2006 to 5th Mar,*** samples were from the general medicine *** patients with respiratory tract infection who received anti-asthmatic drugs were included in the *** were collected from clinical notes and structured patient’s data,and patient interview utilizing a piloted questionnaire data collection *** questionnaire included patient demographics,anti-asthmatics prescribed, dose,frequency and previous treatment if any and its duration,concomitant medications etc. Results:26.31%of patients were 61-70 years *** 57 patients,91.23%of patients received multi-therapy,8.77%of patients received mono-therapy,59.65%of patients took over the counter(OTC) drugs and 57.89%of patients were non ***-asthmatic drugs were prescribed to asthmatic patients as oral,inhalation and others(injections),and more than one route were used for administration of ***:The anti-asthmatics are used to treat breathing difficulties such as *** compliance to treatment is common among the patients,which makes it difficult to manage asthma and increases both morbidity and *** is suggested that interventions have to be done by providing counseling and improving the current prescribing trend for better and rational utilization.

The main research objective in wireless sensor networks (WSN) domain is to develop algorithms and protocols to ensure minimal energy consumption with maximum network lifetime. In this paper, we propose a novel design for energy harvesting sensor node and cross-layered MAC protocol using three adjacent layers (Physical, MAC and Network) to economize energy for WSN. The basic idea behind our protocol is to re-energize the neighboring nodes using the radio frequency (RF) energy transmitted by the active nodes. This can be achieved by designing new energy harvesting sensor node and redesigning the MAC protocol. The results show that the proposed cross layer CL_EHSN improves the life time of the WSN by 40%.

The Effect of ZnO Thin Film and Its Structural and Optical Properties Prepared by Sol-Gel Spin Coating Method

ZnO thin films were deposited on glass substrates at different Zinc concentration and their effects on structural, Morphology and optical properties were investigated. Zinc acetate dehydrate, 2 Methoxy ethanol and Monoethanolamine were used as the precursor, solvent and stabilizer respectively. The molar ratio of Monoethanolamine to Zinc acetate was maintained as 1. The crystal structure and orientation of the films were analyzed by XRD. The XRD patterns show that the ZnO films are polycrystalline with wurtzite hexagonal structure. The film with 0.5 m/l concentration has the better crystallinity. The thickness of the films was determined by thickness Profilometer. The surface morphology of the films was observed by Scanning electron microscope. The SEM images show that they are homogeneous, continuous and spindle like shape. The optical properties of the films were studied by UV-Vis-Spectrophotometer. The transmittance of the films decreases with increase of Zinc concentration. The energy band gap of the films decreases slightly, when the Zinc concentration increases from0.25 m/l to0.75 m/l and then increases when the concentration further increases from0.75 m/l to1.0 m/l.

Objective:To establish immunomodulatory potential of aqueous extract of Polygonum minus(***)leaves,the haematological effects and lysozyme activity of aqueous extract of *** leaf on Clarias gariepinus was ***:The fish were grouped and administered with the *** aqueous leaf extract *** and serum samples were collected from each group and examined for various blood *** turbidimetric assay for lysozyme activity using *** and the survival rate of fish against *** was carried ***:There was no significant impact(P>0.05)on white blood cell count,red blood cell count,mean corpuscular volume,mean corpuscular hemoglobin,mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration and lysozyme activity was significantly(P<0.05)higher than *** serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase and serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase levels were significantly lower than control(P<0.05).The highest dose group showed longest ***:From this study,it is considered that the aqueous extract of *** can be used as an immunostimulant in African catfish,but continuous administration may require maintaining the protection.

The study was conducted to investigate the impact of different levels of feed on the adaptive capability based on physiological, blood biochemical, endocrine and molecular mechanisms in growing Osmanabadi kids. The primary objective of the study was to identify if HSP70 and HSP90 can be a nutritional stress marker for goat. The study was conducted for a period of two months. The animals were randomly divided into three groups as GI （n = 6; ad libitum feeding）, GII （n = 6; 20% less than ad libitum） and GIII （n = 6; 40% less than ad libitum）. The animals were fed with feed consisting of 50% roughage and 50% concentrate. Blood collection was carried out at fortnightly intervals. Body weights were recorded at weekly interval. Physiological responses, biochemical responses, plasma tri-iodo-thyronine （T3）, thyroxin （＇1＂4） and cortisol were recorded at fortnightly interval. At the end of study period, only GI and Gill animals were slaughtered and different organs were collected for histopathological studies as well as for hepatic HSP70 and HSP90 mRNA transcript expression. Body weight recorded showed significant （P 〈 0.01） differences between the groups. Physiological responses showed significant （P 〈 0.01） variation among the groups. Among the biochemical parameters, plasma glucose and total plasma protein and globulin showed significant （P 〈 0.01） differences between the groups. Plasma T3 （P 〈 0.01）, T4 （P 〈 0.01） and cortisol （P 〈 0.05） also differed significantly between the groups. The relative hepatic HSP70 mRNA transcript expression was significantly （P 〈 0.05） higher in Gill （2.8 fold） as compared to GI （1 fold） kids. Similar result was obtained for hepatic HSP90 mRNA transcript expression. From the results, it can be concluded that Osmanabadi kids possessed the ability to alter their adaptive mechanisms to maintain homeostasis.
