In many ways,cancer cells are different from healthy cells.A lot of tactical nano-based drug delivery systems are based on the difference between cancer and healthy ***,nanotechnology-based delivery systems are the most promising tool to deliver DNA-based products to cancer *** review aims to highlight the latest development in the lipids and polymeric nanocarrier for siRNA delivery to the cancer *** also provides the necessary information about siRNA development and its mechanism of ***,this review gives us a clear picture of lipid and polymer-based drug delivery systems,which in the future could form the base to translate the basic siRNA biology into siRNA-based cancer therapies.

A significant driving force behind the brisk research on rechargeable batteries, particularly lithium-ion batteries (LiBs) in high-performance applications, is the development of portable devices and electric vehicles. Carbon-based materials, which have finite specific capacity, make up the anodes of LiBs. many attempts are being made to produce novel nanostructured composite anode materials for LiBs that display cycle stability that is superior to that of graphite using graphene oxide. Therefore, using significant amounts of waste graphene oxide from used LiBs represents a fantastic opportunity to engage in waste management and circular economy. This review outlines recent studies, developments and the current advancement of graphene oxide-based LiBs, including preparation of graphene oxide and utilization in LiBs, particularly from the perspective of energy storage technology, which has drawn more and more attention to creating high-performance electrode systems. Energy transport for ion acoustic waves in a spin polarized quantum plasma

The separate spin evolution quantum hydrodynamics(SSE-QHD)model is used to investigate the energy behavior for ion acoustic waves in degenerate quantum *** results show that the energy flow speed decreases with spin polarization *** is also shown that it decreases with the increasing rate up to a certain range of wave number and then it goes to zero *** is observed that Bohm potential suppresses the energy flow *** is also noticed that the energy flow speed deviates from the group velocity even in the absence of Bohm potential ***,the contribution of of Bohm poential effect in spin polarized plasma reduces the extent of deviation.

Laboratory scale studies on removal of chromium from industrial wastes

Chromium being one of the major toxic pollutants is discharged from electroplating and chrome tanning processes and is also found in the effluents of dyes, paint pigments, manufacturing units etc. Chromium exists in aqueous systems in both trivalent (Cr 3+) and hexavalent (Cr 6+) forms. The hexavalent form is carcinogenic and toxic to aquatic life, whereas Cr 3+ is however comparatively less toxic. This study was undertaken to investigate the total chromium removal from industrial effluents by chemical means in order to achieve the Pakistan NEQS level of 1 mg/L by the methods of reduction and precipitation. The study was conducted in four phases. In phase Ⅰ, the optimum pH and cost effective reducing agent among the four popular commercial chemicals was selected. As a result, pH of 2 was found to be most suitable and sodium meta bisulfate was found to be the most cost effective reducing agent respectively. Phase Ⅱ showed that lower dose of sodium meta bisulfate was sufficient to obtain 100 % efficiency in reducing Cr 6+ to Cr 3+, and it was noted that reaction time had no significance in the whole process. A design curve for reduction process was established which can act as a tool for treatment of industrial effluents. Phase Ⅲ studies indicated the best pH was 8.5 for precipitation of Cr 3+ to chromium hydroxide by using lime. An efficiency of 100 % was achievable and a settling time of 30 minutes produced clear effluent. Finally in Phase Ⅳ actual waste samples from chrome tanning and electroplating industries, when precipitated at pH of 12 gave 100 % efficiency at a settling time of 30 minutes and confirmed that chemical means of reduction and precipitation is a feasible and viable solution for treating chromium wastes from industries.

Dy2O3 is a rare earth oxide having a number of advanced applications in various fields including protective or antireflective coatings,main objective of this novel research work is to check the effect of Cr and Cu addition on different properties of Dy2O3 and achievement of antireflective thin films with enhanced abso *** films of these materials we re deposited using DC magnetron with reactive *** studies reveals the crystalline nature of thin films having Dy2O3(222)reflection in all samples with Cr2O3(116)and CuO(111)reflections in Cr and Cu containing *** emission scanning electron microscopy demonstrates the homogeneous deposition of thin films with uniform shape,size and distribution of *** index,extinction coefficient and absorption coefficient significantly increase while optical reflectance decreases with Cr and Cu mediation corroborating an improved antireflective *** imaginary part of dielectric constant is found to increase slightly with low tangent loss for Cr containing composition co nsidered favorable for energy storage applications.

Glow discharge plasma nitriding of AISI 304 austenitic stainless steel has been carried out for different processing time under optimum discharge conditions established by spectroscopic analysis. The treated samples were analysed by X-ray diffraction （XRD） to explore the changes induced in the crystallographic structure. The XRD pattern confirmed the formation of an expanded austenite phase （TN） owing to incorporation of nitrogen as an interstitial solid solution in the iron lattice. A Vickers microhardness tester was used to evaluate the surface hardness as a function of indentation depth （μm）. The results showed clear evidence of surface changes with substantial increase in surface hardness.

Effect of Co substitution on the structural,electrical,and magnetic properties of Bi_(0.9)La_(0.1)FeO_3 by sol-gel synthesis

Cobalt （Co）-doped ***3 multiferroics were synthesized by a sol-gel method based on the auto- combustion technique. As-synthesized powder was examined using various characterization techniques to explore the effect of Co substitution on the properties of Bi0.9La0.1FeO3. X-ray diffraction reveals that Co-doped Bi0.9La0.1FeO3 preserves the perovskite-type rhombohedral structure of BiFeO3, and the composition without Co preserves the original structure of the phase; however, a second-phase Bi2Fe409 has been identified in all other compositions. Surface morphological studies were performed by scanning electron microscopy. Temperature-dependent resistivity of the samples reveals the characteristic insulating behavior of the multiferroic material. The resistivity is found to decrease with the increase both in temperature and Co content. Room temperature frequency-dependent dielectric measurements were also reported. magnetic measurements show the enhancement in magnetization with the increase in Co content.

The effect of replacing pnictogen elements on the physical properties of Srmg_2X_2(X=N,P,As,Sb,Bi) Zintl compounds

The effect of replacing the anion from N to Bi down the group in the periodic table is investigated on Srmg2X2（X = N,P,As,Sb,Bi）.A full potential linearized augmented plane wave plus local orbitals method is used along with different exchange–correlation potentials to obtain the lattice constants,phonons,electronic,and optical properties of the Sr mg2X2（X = N,P,As,Sb,Bi） Zintl compounds.A good agreement is achieved and our calculations are validated by previous experimental and theoretical *** compounds have shown stable dynamical behavior with gamma centered longitudinal response having no imaginary *** band structures reveal the semiconducting nature of the *** Pnictogen（X）-p state contributed mainly in the valence band and the Sr-d state forms the conduction of the *** charge transfer and low overlapping of the atomic densities indicates the preferable ionic bonding character of these *** the optical properties,real and imaginary parts of dielectric function,complex refractive index,birefringence,reflectivity,and optical conductivity are *** compounds can be utilized in the optical and optoelectronic devices.
