Liver tumor is the fifth most occurring type of tumor in men and the ninth most occurring type of tumor in women according to recent reports of Global cancer statistics *** are several imaging tests like Computed Tomography(CT),Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI),and ultrasound that can diagnose the liver tumor after taking the sample from the tissue of the *** tests are costly and *** paper proposed that image processing through deep learning Convolutional Neural Network(CNNs)ResUNet model that can be helpful for the early diagnose of tumor instead of conventional *** existing studies have mainly used the two Cascaded CNNs for liver segmentation and evaluation of Region Of Interest(ROI).This study uses ResUNet,an updated version of U-Net and ResNet Models that utilize the service of Residential *** apply over method on the 3D-IRCADb01 dataset that is based on CT slices of liver tumor affected *** results showed the True Value Accuracy around 99%and F1 score performance around 95%.This method will be helpful for early and accurate diagnose of the Liver tumor to save the lives of many patients in the field of Biotechnology.

Performance Evaluation of MWCNTs Reinforced Cement Mortar Composites using Natural and Commercial Surfactants

An efficient and promising approach for effectively dispersing multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs)in cementitious composites has been *** naturally occurring organic extracts from species of indigenously known‘Keekar’trees scattered along tropical and sub-tropical regions;is found as an exceptional replacement to the non-natural commercial *** the initial phase of investigation,ideal surfactant’s content required for efficient dispersion of MWCNTs in solution was determined using ultra-violet *** experimental investigations were then extended to five different cement composite formulations containing 0.0,0.025,0.05,0.08 and 0.10%MWCNTs by weight of *** was observed that the natural surfactant produced efficient dispersion at much reduced cost(approx.14%)compared with the commercial *** estimated weight efficiency factor f was found 6.5 times higher for the proposed sustainable replacement to the conventional along with remarkable increase of 23%in modulus of rupture on 0.08 wt%addition of *** strength enhancement,the dispersed MWCNTs also improved the first crack and ultimate fracture toughness by 51.5%and 35.9%,*** field emission scanning electron microscopy of the cryofractured samples revealed efficient dispersion of MWCNTs in the matrix leading to the phenomenon of effective crack bridging and crack branching in the composite ***,the proposed scheme significantly reduced the early age volumetric shrinkage by 39%.

Novel Double-Damped Tuned AC Filters in HVDC Systems

This paper presents a performance analysis of novel doubledampedtuned alternating current (AC) filters in high voltage direct current(HVDC) systems. The proposed double-damped tuned AC filters offer theadvantages of improved performance of HVDC systems in terms of betterpower quality, high power factor, and lower total harmonic distortion (THD).The system under analysis consists of an 878 km long HVDC transmissionline connecting converter stations at Matiari and Lahore, two major cities inPakistan. The main focus of this research is to design a novel AC filter usingthe equivalent impedance method of two single-tuned and double-dampedtuned AC filters. Additionally, the impact of the damping resistor on the ACchannel is examined. TheTHDof theHVDCsystem with and without currentAC filters was also compared in this research and a double-damped tuned ACfilter was proposed. The results of the simulation represent that the proposeddouble-damped tuned AC filter is far smaller in size, offers better powerquality, and has a much lower THD compared to the AC filters currently inplace in the converter station. The simulation analysis was carried out utilizingpower systems computer-aided design (PSCAD) software.

Forecasting on success or failure of software has become an interesting and,in fact,an essential task in the software development *** order to explore the latest data on successes and failures,this research focused on certain questions such as is early phase of the software development life cycle better than later phases in predicting software success and avoiding high rework?What human factors contribute to success or failure of a software?What software practices are used by the industry practitioners to achieve high quality of software in their day-to-day work?In order to conduct this empirical analysis a total of 104 practitioners were recruited to determine how human factors,misinterpretation,and miscommunication of requirements and decision-making processes play their roles in software success *** discussed a potential relationship between forecasting of software success or failure and the development *** noticed that experienced participants had more confidence in their practices and responded to the questionnaire in this empirical study,and they were more likely to rate software success forecasting linking to the development *** analysis also shows that cognitive bias is the central human factor that negatively affects forecasting of software success *** results of this empirical study also validated that requirements’misinterpretation and miscommunication were themain causes behind software systems’*** has been seen that reliable,relevant,and trustworthy sources of information help in decision-making to predict software systems’success in the software *** empirical study highlights a need for other software practitioners to avoid such bias while working on software *** investigation can be performed to identify the other human factors that may impact software systems’success.

Heteropoly acids(HPA) are well known for their versatile solid acid catalysis in diverse chemical reactions, however they suffer from low surface area(<10 m^2/g) and leaching into the reactions media, which reduce their prospects as industrial ***, a novel hybrid material HPW@Zr-BTC,composed of 12-tungstophoric acid(HPW) and Zr^(Ⅳ)-benzene tri-carboxylate(Zr-BTC) metal-organic framework(MOF), was prepared via one-pot solvothermal method. Excellent HPW loading up to 32.3 wt% was achieved, and HPW@Zr-BTC composite proved to be highly stable, besides the crystalline morphology of Zr-BTC was intact. The catalytic activity of the hybrid composite was explored via Friedel-Crafts acylation of anisole with benzoyl *** 28.2 wt% HPW@Zr-BTC showed excellent catalytic performance, with 99.4% anisole conversion and 97.6% yield(pmethoxybenzophenone) under solvent free conditions. Excellent retention of catalytic activity was achieved after at least five consecutive runs due to non-observable HPW leaching. The promising activity and stability of the catalyst forecasted its potential industrial applications.

Energy harvesting or energy scavenging is the process to generate electrical energy from environmental energy sources. There exists a variety of energy sources such as solar energy, wind energy and thermal energy. Energy harvesting（EH） based relay networks has gained substantial attention of researchers both from academia and industry because of its potential to overcome the problems of path-loss, fading, coverage and capacity by adopting spatial multiplexing and diversity gain to improve the quality and performance of wireless networks. By joining the EH with relaying provides the solutions of all problems described above. EH provides ultimate solution to counter greenhouse impact and help to reduce the emission of CO2 which has become a critical problem. EH improves the life time of battery dependent networks where replacement or recharging of battery is crucial such as sensor implanted in human body, sensor in buildings and in nuclear radiation monitoring *** harvesting utilizes the ambient radio frequency signals from the environment to transfer data. Simultaneous wireless information and power transfer（SWIPT） is a key technology that has distinguished characteristic and provide solution for energy efficiency,better spectrum utilization and extension to coverage of more area in wireless networks. It has become one of the fastest growing research direction in the communication industry. In order to satisfy the exponential growth of demand, wireless service providers are striving to improve the communication systems so that higher data rate wireless transmission can be supported. Object detection is the documentation of an object in the image laterally with its localization and *** has inclusive range applications and critical component for visionbased software *** fruit picking is a challenging problem in robotics with wide application field.A requirement for realization of a robotic fruit picker is its ability to detect fruits in tree *** expert system,which would be able to compete with human perception,must be skillful of recognizing fruits among leaves and branches under uncontrolled conditions,where fruits are occluded and *** the other hand,the localization accuracy can easily be affected by unstructured growing environments with variable illumination conditions and unpredictable growing shapes of weight-bearing stems carrying litchi *** picking points plays a vital role in robotic litchi harvesting in *** Fruit is detected in images using a state-of-the-art,Faster R-CNN *** adopt this model,through finetuning,for the task of litchi fruit based *** main objective of current research is to design an efficient and accurate Faster-RCNN based detection of litchi *** test results show the proposed algorithm has achieved higher detection accuracy and lower processing time than the traditional *** work demonstrated that we introduce a new,high-quality dataset of images containing litchi *** work presents a new multi-sensor framework to identify resourcefully,track,localize,and map every piece of fruit in a commercial Litchi *** performances of the several investigated techniques were assessed based on accuracy and *** proposed faster R-CNN method proves to be efficient and also produce highly accurate and consistent results.

Investigations on thin-film flow play a vital role in the field of optoelectronics and magnetic *** films are reasonably hard and thermally stable but quite *** thermal stability of a thin film can be further improved by incorporating the effects of *** the current work,a stretchable surface is considered upon which hybrid nanofluid thin-film flow is taken into *** idea of augmenting heat transmission by making use of a hybrid nanofluid is a focus of the current *** flow is affected by variations in the viscous forces,along with viscous dissipation effects and Marangoni convection.A time-constrained magnetic field is applied in the normal direction to the flow *** equations governing the flow system are shifted to a non-dimensional form by applying similarity *** homotopy analysis method is employed to find the solution to the resultant *** is noticed in this study that the flow characteristics decline with augmentation of magnetic,viscosity and unsteadiness parameters while they increase with enhanced values of thin-film *** characteristics are supported by increasing values of the Eckert number and the unsteadiness parameter and opposed by the viscosity parameter and Prandtl *** numerical impact of different emerging parameters upon skin friction and the Nusselt number is calculated in tabular form.A comparison of current work with established results is carried out,with good agreement.

Smart and interconnected devices can generate meaningful patient data and exchange it automatically without any human intervention in order to realize the Internet of Things(IoT)in healthcare(HIoT).Due to more and more online security and data hijacking attacks,the confidentiality,integrity and availability of data are considered serious issues in HIoT *** this regard,lightweight block ciphers(LBCs)are promising in resourceconstrained environment where security is the primary *** prevalent challenge while designing an LBC for the HIoT environment is how to ascertain platform performance,cost,and *** of the existing LBCs primarily focus on text data or grayscale *** main focus of this paper is about securing color images in a cost-effective *** emphasis high confidentiality of color images captured by cameras in resource-constrained smartphones,and high confidentiality of sensitive images transmitted by low-power sensors in IoT *** order to reduce computational complexity and simulation time,the proposed Lightweight Symmetric Block Cipher(LSBC)exploits chaos-based confusion-diffusion operations at the inter-block level using a single *** strength of LSBC is assessed by cryptanalysis,while it is ranked by comparing it to other privacy-preserving *** results show that the proposed cipher produces promising results in terms of key sensitivity and differential attacks,which proves that our LSBC is a good candidate for image security in HIoT.
