Uniform and Homogeneous Growth of Copper Nanoparticles on Electrophoretically Deposited Carbon Nanotubes Electrode for Nonenzymatic Glucose Sensor

The multiwalled carbon nanotubes thin-film-based electrode was fabricated by electrophoretic deposition and modified with copper （Cu） nanoparticles to fabricate Cu/CNTs nanocomposite sensor for nonenzymatic glucose detection. The expensive glassy carbon electrode was replaced by fluorine-doped tin oxide glass containing CNTs film to confine the Cu nanoparticles growth by electrodeposition through cyclic voltammetry （CV）. The ultraviolet visible and X-ray diffraction analysis revealed the successful deposition of Cu nanoparticles on the CNTs-modified electrode. The atomic force microscopy images confirrqed the morphology of electrodeposited Cu on CNTs film as uniformly dispersed particles. The electrocatalytic activity of electrode to the glucose oxidation was investigated in alkaline medium by CV and amperometric measurements. The fabricated sensor exhibited a fast response time of less than 5 s and the sensitivity of 314 μA rnM^-1 cm^-2 with linear concentration range （0.02-3.0 mM） having detection limit 10.0 μM. Due to simple preparation of sensor, Cu/CNTs nanocomposite electrodes are a suitable candidate for reliable determination of glucose with good stability.

Numerous time-consuming equations,based on the relationship between the reliability and representativeness of the data utilized in defining variables and constants,require complex parameters to estimate bedload *** this study the easily accessible data including flow discharge,water depth,water surface slope,and surface grain diameter(d50) from small rivers in Malaysia were used to estimate bedload *** programming（GP）and artificial neural network（ANN） models are applied as complementary tools to estimate bed load transport based on a balance between simplicity and accuracy in small *** developed models demonstrate higher performance with an overall accuracy of 97%and 93%for ANN and GP,respectively compared with other traditional methods and empirical equations.

Land use changes profoundly affect the equilibrium of soil organic carbon(soC)sequestration and greenhouse gas *** the current global climatic changes,it is vital to understand the influence of ecological restoration and conservation management on the dynamics of soC under different land uses,especially in erosion-endangered Loess ***,we investigated changes in soc through a suit of labile fractions,namely:light fraction organic C(LFOC),heavy fraction organic C(HFOC),coarse particulate organic C(CPOC),fine particulate organic C(FPOC),and dissolved organic C(DOC),from two forests i.e.,Robinia pseudoacacia(RP)and Platycladus orientalis(PO),with different ages,in comparison with farmland(FL).The SOC and STN contents significantly increased over 42 years in the RP forest where the contents of CPOC and FPOC were significantly higher than in the ***,total SOC and its labile fractions,in the studied land use types,significantly correlated with soil CacO3,pH,and STN contents,indicating their key roles in SoC *** results reported here from different vegetation with different ages provide a better understanding of sOC and STN alterations at different stages of vegetation *** findings suggest that long-term natural vegetation restoration could be an effective approach for SoC sequestration and soil conservation on the Loess soil.

Clustering high dimensional data is challenging as data dimensionality increases the distance between data points,resulting in sparse regions that degrade clustering *** clustering is a common approach for processing high-dimensional data by finding relevant features for each cluster in the data *** clustering methods extend traditional clustering to account for the constraints imposed by data *** streams are not only high-dimensional,but also unbounded and *** necessitates the development of subspace clustering algorithms that can handle high dimensionality and adapt to the unique characteristics of data *** many articles have contributed to the literature review on data stream clustering,there is currently no specific review on subspace clustering algorithms in high-dimensional data ***,this article aims to systematically review the existing literature on subspace clustering of data streams in high-dimensional streaming *** review follows a systematic methodological approach and includes 18 articles for the final *** analysis focused on two research questions related to the general clustering process and dealing with the unbounded and evolving characteristics of data *** main findings relate to six elements:clustering process,cluster search,subspace search,synopsis structure,cluster maintenance,and evaluation *** algorithms use a two-phase clustering approach consisting of an initialization stage,a refinement stage,a cluster maintenance stage,and a final clustering *** density-based top-down subspace clustering approach is more widely used than the others because it is able to distinguish true clusters and outliers using projected *** algorithms implicitly adapt to the evolving nature of the data stream by using a time fading function that is sensitive to *** work can focus on the clustering framework,parameter optimiza

Plating the radial shaft on the lateral surface: An outcome study

Purpose:Plate fixation is the gold standard for the treatment of displaced forearm shaft fractures in adults. Conventionally radial shaft fractures will be plated either on the volar surface or on the dorsal surface depending on which approach has been chosen. The lateral surface of the radius provides an even and uniformly curved area for placing a plate. It has the advantage of restoring and easy assessing the radial bow after surgery. We designed a prospective study to observe the outcome of lateral plating of radius shaft ***:Nineteen patients were included in this study performed in Government Medical College, Jammu, India. Among them, 13 had fractures of both the forearm bones and 6 had isolated radial shaft fracture. Three patients had Galeazzi fracture dislocation. Fixation was done within 36 h of injury in all using 3.5 mm limited contact dynamic compression plate or locking compression plate applied to the lateral surface of the radius. Ulna was fixed in routine ***:Union was achieved in 18 out of 19 patients, after a mean time of 17.44 weeks. According to Anderson et al.'s criteria, 12 patients had excellent results, 5 had satisfactory and 1 had unsatisfactory result. There was one failure (nonunion).Conclusion:The outcomes including rate of union were comparable to those in the existing literature. Plating the radial shaft on the lateral surface is a viable alternative to volar or dorsal plating of the radius. Larger studies with randomized data are needed to assess whether it has any superiority over other existing techniques.

This paper deals with the problem of the state estimation and the sensor faults detection for nonlinear perturbed systems described by Takagi-Sugeno （T-S） fuzzy models with unmeasurable premise variables. Indeed, a T-S observer is synthesized, in descriptor form, to estimate both the system states and the sensor faults simultaneously. The idea of the proposed approach is to introduce the sensor fault as an auxiliary variable in the state vector. Besides, the T-S model with unmeasurable premise variables is reduced to a perturbed model with measurable variables. Convergence conditions are established with Lyapunov theory and the H∞ performance in order to guarantee the best robustness to disturbances. These conditions are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. The parameters of the observer are computed using the solution of the LMI conditions. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the design procedures. Simulation results show the satisfactory performances.

本研究建立在先前的一些研究和论文的基础上,这些研究和论文着眼于版权和视障人士需求之间的关系,视障人士无法阅读已出版的版权作品。这项研究特别探讨在权利的例外情况下,如何在著作权人、视觉受损的版权作品使用者及协助使用者的利益之间取得适当的平衡。本文也着眼于已经确定的版权问题的其他可能解决方案。本文同时探讨了欧洲、中国和巴基斯坦的《视障人士法》(VIPs)对视障人士使用作品的版权限制以及与之相关的问题。此外,本研究通过不同的案例探讨发展中国家视障者版权在版权有效性认定和相关法律共存协议下的作用。在人权与知识产权交叉的框架下,本文研究了视障人士对增加获得受版权保护作品的需求。本研究表明,不能充分获得受版权保护的材料是对视障人士的歧视,并对他们获得教育、信息、保健、就业、文化和科学的人权产生负面影响。此外,结合《伯尔尼公约》、《与贸易有关的知识产权协定》和《世界知识产权组织互联网条约》,本文研究了国际和国家版权法对视障人士要求的影响。在对国际版权法的分析中,本文评价了《马拉喀什条约》并对巴基斯坦、中国和欧洲视障者著作权法进行了比较研究。最后分析了巴基斯坦的立法规定,指出了其立法的不足之处,并提出了具体的改进建议,最后一章将结合论文的结论提出建议。
