The present work has been accomplished to carry out a detailed study of the characteristics of the Early Jurassic Datta Formation of Trans-Indus Ranges, Pakistan. The discovery of Saib well-1 (Gas and condensate discovery from Jurassic limestone) in the study basin takes an active interest in carrying out extensive exploration activities in the same basin. Jurassic rocks especially Datta Sandstone and Samana Suk Limestone are acting as good reservoirs. The study unit consists of variegated sandstone interbedded with siltstone, carbonaceous clay, and shale and coal stringer. For the current work, two stratigraphic sections (Pezu and Abbo Wanda) have been measured. To examine its sedimentology, depositional environment, diagenetic settings, and reservoir characteristics, a detailed study was conducted and various laboratory techniques have been utilized. About 95 rock samples from the bottom to the top of both sections were collected, and 50 rock samples have been selected for thin section analysis and were examined under a polarizing microscope to show their mineralogical composition, diagenesis, and their reservoir characteristics. XRD (X-ray diffraction), Cathodoluminescence (CL), SEM (Scanning electron microscope) with EDS (Energy-dispersive spectroscope), and Core plug porosity and permeability analysis have been used to interpret its chemical and mineralogical composition and its reservoir characteristics, respectively. Based on field observations and thin section analysis, four depositional facies and six lithofacies have been established. The sedimentary structures, depositional facies, and lithofacies indicate that Datta Formation was deposited in a deltaic environment. Compactions, cementation, fracturing and dissolution can greatly affect the quality of reservoir rock. Objective: To find the cytotoxic and apoptotic effects of neem oil extract on the selected cancerous(A-549, PC-3 and DU-145) and noncancerous(NIH3T3 and CCD-18Co) cell ***: Viability and cytotoxic effect induced by the extract was measured by using MTT assay and apoptotic effect of the extract was evaluated by using Hoechst 33342 and propidium iodide dual staining through a fluorescent microscope and activity of caspases 3, 8 and 9 through colorimetric assay kits. Results: The results showed that neem oil extract significantly reduced the viability in all selected cancer cells treated with varying concentrations of extract as compared with untreated cells and had less effect on noncancerous cell lines. It significantly increased the percentage of necrotic and apoptotic cells, and caspases 3, 8 and 9 activities in all cancer cells treated with extract as compared with untreated cells whereas no effect on noncancerous cell lines. It suggested that neem oil extract exerted a higher cytotoxic effect on cancer cells than normal cells and lower concentration induced apoptosis only in cancer *** of the apoptosis-inducing mechanism was through the activation of caspases signaling pathways. Conclusion: Conclusively, it implies that neem oil extract may contain one or more potential agents that can be used as a safe and effective anticancer therapy.

In the current era of the internet,people use online media for conversation,discussion,chatting,and other similar *** of such material where more than one person is involved has a spate challenge as compared to other text analysis *** are several approaches to identify users’emotions fromthe conversational text for the English language,however regional or low resource languages have been *** Urdu language is one of them and despite being used by millions of users across the globe,with the best of our knowledge there exists no work on dialogue analysis in the Urdu ***,in this paper,we have proposed a model which utilizes deep learning and machine learning approaches for the classification of users’emotions from the *** accomplish this task,we have first created a dataset for the Urdu language with the help of existing English language datasets for dialogue *** that,we have preprocessed the data and selected dialogues with common *** the dataset is prepared,we have used different deep learning and machine learning techniques for the classification of *** have tuned the algorithms according to the Urdu language *** experimental evaluation has shown encouraging results with 67%accuracy for the Urdu dialogue datasets,more than 10,000 dialogues are classified into five emotions i.e.,joy,fear,anger,sadness,and *** believe that this is the first effort for emotion detection from the conversational text in the Urdu language domain.

Radiometric analysis of soil samples, collected from northern alluvial sediment plains between rivers Ravi and Chenab, has been carried out. Activity concentrations of^(226) Ra,^(232)Th,^(40) K and the artificial radionuclide^(137) Cs were estimated by using high-purity germanium detector. Subsequent values of activity concentrations were used to find terrestrial absorbed dose rate and annual effective doses received by resident of area. The mean radioactivity levels of^(226) Ra,^(232)Th,^(40) K and^(137)Cs were found to be 45.0 ± 1.3,59.6 ± 2.8, 613.8 ± 20.0 and 4.0 ± 0.2 Bq kg^(-1), respectively. Terrestrial absorbed dose rate and annual effective dose received by public were found to be 85.1 n Gy h^(-1)and0.5 m Sv, respectively. The activity concentrations of^(226) Ra,^(232)Th,^(40) K and^(137)Cs and resulting doses obtained for the current study were compared with data available in the literature and with international standards.

The secondary structure of a protein is critical for establishing a link between the protein primary and tertiary *** this reason,it is important to design methods for accurate protein secondary structure *** of the existing computational techniques for protein structural and functional prediction are based onmachine learning with *** deep learning architectures have already been applied to tackle protein secondary structure prediction *** this study,deep learning based models,i.e.,convolutional neural network and long short-term memory for protein secondary structure prediction were *** input to proposed models is amino acid sequences which were derived from CulledPDB *** tuning with cross validation was employed to attain best parameters for the proposed *** proposed models enables effective processing of amino acids and attain approximately 87.05%and 87.47%Q3 accuracy of protein secondary structure prediction for convolutional neural network and long short-term memory models,respectively.

The Tortonian–Calabrian strata of Offshore Makran(Pakistan)is investigated for the purpose of reservoir *** stratigraphy and petrophysics indicate that the Neogene sediments have tight reservoir potential with porosities in the range of 3%–9%and 40%–50%water *** mineralogical cross plots indicate a mixed lithology with an abundance of dolomite and calcite,together with minor quartz content and *** seismic interpretation demonstrates medium–high amplitude reflection patterns,mud diapirs coupled with onlapping strata and the occurrence of bottom simulating reflectors(BSRs).The BSRs are characterized by diminished amplitude,low continuity and exhibiting acoustic blanking *** high formation pressure results indicate overpressure zones,suggesting the occurrence of overpressured shales in the Jal *** presence of mud diapirs and gas chimneys are the result of tectonic forces acting at the junction of the Arabian,Indian and Eurasian plates,whereas,BSRs prove the existence of gas charged sediments supporting the formation of mud diapirism in the *** is concluded that the high rates of sedimentation during the Neogene are likely to have contributed to the development of the high formation *** mud weights,casing policies,pore pressure transients and geophysical inversion studies will help alleviate drilling risks in future exploration strategies.
