Symptom identification and early detection are the first steps towards a health condition ***-19 virus causes pneumonialike symptoms such as fever,cough,and shortness of ***-19 contraction tests necessitate extensive clinical protocols in medical *** studies help with the accurate analysis of COVID-19,where the virus has already spread to the lungs in most *** majority of existing supervised machine learning-based disease detection techniques are based on clinical data like x-rays and computerized *** is heavily reliant on a larger clinical study and does not emphasize early symptom *** aim of this study is to investigate anomalies in patient physiological data for early COVID-19 symptoms *** this context,two of the most prevalent symptoms,fever and cough,were examined in a two-fold manner utilizing an unsupervised machine *** examine disease progression,physiological features from a chest-worn device were ***,a Single Vector Activity Index(SVAI)parameter is proposed to monitor the breathing and cough ***,the dataset’s variance is examined using the DBSCAN method for clustering and outlier ***,the model accuracy is evaluated to identify outliers on real-time data based on feature dissimilarities,yielding an overall detection accuracy of 90.34%.

Dynamic instability of decentralized wind energy farms is a major issue to deliver continuous green energy to electricity *** instability is caused by variations of voltage and frequency parameters due to intermittencies in wind ***,droop control and inverter-based schemes have been proposed to regulate the voltage by balancing reactive power,while inertial control,digital mapping tech-nique of proportional-integral-differential(PID)controller and efficiency control strategy have been developed to regulate the *** this paper,voltage stability is improved by a new joint strategy of distribution static compensator(DSTATCOM)six-pulse controller based reactive power management among decentralized wind turbines and controlled charging of capacitor *** frequency stability is ensured by a joint coordinated utilization of capacitor bank and distributed wind power turbines dispatching through a new DSTATCOM six-pulse controller *** both strategies,power grid is contributed as a backup source with less *** new joint strategies for voltage and frequency stabilities will enhance the stable active power delivery to end users.A system test case is developed to verify the proposed joint *** test results of the proposed new schemes are proved to be effective in terms of stability improvement of voltage,frequency and active power generation.

Non-intrusive load monitoring is a method that disaggregates the overall energy consumption of a building to estimate the electric power usage and operating status of each appliance *** studies have mostly concentrated on the identification of high-power appliances like HVAC systems while overlooking the existence of low-power ***-power consumer appliances have comparable power consumption patterns,which can complicate the detection task and can be mistaken as *** research tackles the problem of classification of low-power appliances and uses turn-on current transients to extract novel features and develop unique appliance signatures.A hybrid feature extraction method based on mono-fractal and multi-fractal analysis is proposed for identifying low-power *** dimension,Hurst exponent,multifractal spectrum and the Hölder exponents of switching current transient signals are extracted to develop various‘turn-on’appliance signatures for *** classifiers,i.e.,deep neural network,support vector machine,decision trees,and K-nearest neighbours have been optimized using Bayesian optimization and trained using the extracted *** simulated results showed that the proposed method consistently outperforms state-of-the-art feature extraction methods across all optimized classifiers,achieving an accuracy of up to 96%in classifying low-power appliances.

The effect ofelectromechanical fields, i.e., polarization fields, on the efficiency droop of GaN-based light-emitting diodes is presented using both experimental and numerical analyses. The role of incorporating such polarization charge density in device performance is numerically investigated and further compared with the experimental results of internal quantum efficiency of three different devices in consideration.

Heat Transfer Enhancement of an Automobile Engine Radiator using ZnO Water Base Nanofluids

In this research paper, the forced convective heat transfer enhancement of a Suzuki Mehran(VXR) 2016 radiator(heat exchanger) along with pressure drop and friction factor by utilizing Zinc oxide(Zn O) water based nanofluids has been experimentally studied. Three types of nanofluids with different volumetric concentrations of Zn O nanoparticles(0–0.3%) were employed in order to understand its effect on heat transfer enhancement. The experimental setup was completely designed as closely as possible to the car cooling system. The experimentation has been done under laminar flow conditions(186≤Re≤1127) at different fluid volume flow rates(2–12 L/min) and constant fluid inlet temperature(70°C) to the automobile radiator. A maximum enhancement in heat transfer rate, overall heat transfer coefficient and Nusselt number was obtained up to 41%, 50% and 31% by using nanofluid with 0.2% volumetric concentration of nanoparticles respectively. On the other hand, the mean enhancement in pressure drop and friction factor was obtained up to 47% and 46% by using nanofluid with the same volumetric concentration of nanoparticles i.e. 0.2% respectively. The experimental results also revealed that the heat transfer rate, overall heat transfer coefficient and Nusselt number of nanofluids increases by increasing the volume flow rates and volumetric concentration of nanoparticles. However, these thermal performance parameters of nanofluids started to decline when the volumetric concentration of nanoparticles was increased from 0.2% to 0.3%. Furthermore, pressure drop and friction factor of nanofluids increase by increasing the volumetric concentration of nanoparticles, while pressure drop increases and friction factor decreases by increasing the volume flow rate of nanofluids respectively. At the end, the thermal efficiency of automobile radiator with high cooling rates was obtained by using nanofluid with 0.2% volumetric concentration of nanoparticles.

Numerical Study of Hydrogen Peroxide Thermal Decomposition in a Shock Tube

Hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) has its significance during the combustion of heavy hydrocarbons in the internal combustion(IC) engines. Owing to its importance the measurements of H_2O_2 dissociation rate have been reported mostly using the shock tube apparatus. These types of experimental measurements are although quite reliable but require high cost. On the other hand, numerical simulations provide low cost and reliable solutions especially using computation fluid dynamics(CFD) software. In the current study an experimental shock tube flow is modeled using open access platform OpenFOAM to investigate the thermal decomposition of H_2O_2. Using two different convective schemes, limited Linear and upwind, the propagation of shock wave and resultant dissociation reaction are simulated. The results of the simulations are compared with the experimental data. It is observed that the rate constant measured using the simulation data deviates from the experimental results in the low temperature range and approaches the experimental values as the temperature is raised.

Currently,nanofluid is a hot area of interest for *** nanofluid with bioconvection phenomenon attracted the researchers owing to its numerous applications in the field of nanotechnology,microbiology,nuclear science,heat storage devices,biosensors,biotechnology,hydrogen bomb,engine of motors,cancer treatment,the atomic reactor,cooling of devices,and in many *** article presents the bioconvection cross-diffusion effects on the magnetohydrodynamic flow of nanofluids on three different geometries(cone,wedge,and plate)with mixed *** temperature-dependent thermal conductivity,thermal diffusivity,and Arrhenius activation energy applications are considered on the fluid flow with melting *** flow is analyzed under thermal and solutal Robin’s *** problem is formulated in the mathematical formulation of partial differential equations(PDEs).The similarity transformations are applied to diminish the governing nonlinear coupled boundary value problems into higher-order non-linear ordinary differential equations(ODEs).The resulting expressions/equation numerically tackled utilizing the famous bvp4c package by MATLAB for various interesting *** results were physically and numerically calculated through graphics and tables for the velocity field,energy distribution,nanoparticles concentration,and microorganisms profile for numerous *** the obtained results,we discern that the transfer of heat and mass coefficient is high over a plate and cone in the flow,*** velocity profile is reduced via a larger magnetic *** thermal conductivity enhances the thermal *** thermophoresis enhanced the concentration of *** microorganisms’Biot number boosts the microorganism’s profile.

This study focuses on the deformation characteristics of Kadui-2 Landslide by the influence of reservoir filling-drawdown and precipitation.A three-year monitoring project was implemented in order to observe the short/long-term *** slide mass experienced consistent deformation with a maximum cumulative displacement of 331.34 *** on the recorded data of reservoir water level and precipitation during this period,a two-dimensional(2-D)finite element model using Geostudio software was set up for deformation simulation under different conditions to understand the real influence of these triggering factors on *** numerical simulation results are in consistent with monitoring field *** numerical simulation and field monitoring results exhibit that the maximum deformation occurred at the foreside of slumping *** slip surface shows significant creep characteristics decreasing as long-term shear strength reducing *** water level fluctuation is the primary triggering factor to reactivate the landslide mass and has a negative correlation with deformation *** rate increases with the reservoir drawdown and decreases with impoundment *** with reservoir filling-drawdown operation,rainfall has no significant effect on the slide motion of landslide due to limited penetration from the ground surface.

Traversable wormhole solutions utilizing the Karmarkar condition in f(R, G ) gravity

The main objective of this paper is to reveal the evolving traversable wormhole solutions in the context of modified f(R, G) gravity, which affects the gravitational interaction. These results are derived by applying the Karmarkar condition, which creates wormhole geometry that meets the necessary conditions and connects two asymptotically flat areas of spacetime. The proposed study's main goal is to construct the wormhole structures by splitting the f(R, G) gravity model into two forms Firstly, we split the model into an exponential-like f(R) gravity model and a power law f(G) gravity model, and secondly, we consider the Starobinsky f(R) gravity model along with a power law f(G) gravity model. Besides, we address the feasibility of shape functions and the structural analysis of wormhole structures for specific models. These models are then confined to be compatible with current experimental evidence. Further, the energy conditions of the wormhole are geometrically probed, and it is proven that they adhere to the null energy conditions in areas close to the throat. Moreover, the fascinating aspect of this study involves conducting an examination and comparison of evolving wormhole geometries in the vicinity of the throat in our chosen models, utilizing two-and three-dimensional graphical representations. We observe that our shape function acquired through the Karmarkar technique yields validated wormhole configurations with even less exotic matter, correlating to the proper choice of f(R, G) gravity models and acceptable free parameter values. In summary, we conclude that our findings meet all the criteria for the existence of wormholes, affirming the viability and consistency of our study.
