Randomly amplified polymorphic DNA(RAPD)is a tremendously convenient approach used to discriminate between Brassica species owing to its accuracy and *** primers generate adequate genetic information that can be used in the primer-marker *** this work,twenty RAPD-PCR based markers were executed to generate polymorphic data,like polymorphic information content(PIC),mean resolving power(MRP),resolving power(RP),effective multiplex ratio(EMR),and marker index(MI)for the first time and genetic distance among and between six Brassica species were *** results indicated that 20 primers produced a total of 231 scored band and generated 87%polymorphic *** PIC,MRP,RP,MI,and EMR values were 0.088,0.65,6.7,0.78,and 8.9,*** showed an overall negative correlation with MRP,RP,MI,and EMR,whereas MRP,RP,and EMR,were positively correlated with each *** identities ranged from 41.99%(between Brassica napus and Brassica oleracea)to 68.83%(between Brassica campestris and Brassica oleracea).Dendrogram results showed no clustering between species except between Brassica campestris and Brassica ***,these results will be helpful to acquire useful information about the markers and their use to determine the genomic structures of Brassica ***,based on genetic distance and polymorphic information,new hybrids can be developed for effective oilseed production.

In recent years,progressive developments have been observed in recent technologies and the production cost has been continuously *** such scenario,Internet of Things(IoT)network which is comprised of a set of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV),has received more attention from civilian tomilitary *** network security poses a serious challenge to UAV networks whereas the intrusion detection system(IDS)is found to be an effective process to secure the UAV *** IDSs are not adequate to handle the latest computer networks that possess maximumbandwidth and data *** order to improve the detection performance and reduce the false alarms generated by IDS,several researchers have employed Machine Learning(ML)and Deep Learning(DL)algorithms to address the intrusion detection *** this view,the current research article presents a deep reinforcement learning technique,optimized by BlackWidow Optimization(DRL-BWO)algorithm,for UAV *** addition,DRL involves an improved reinforcement learning-based Deep Belief Network(DBN)for intrusion *** parameter optimization of DRL technique,BWO algorithm is *** helps in improving the intrusion detection performance of UAV *** extensive set of experimental analysis was performed to highlight the supremacy of the proposed *** the simulation values,it is evident that the proposed method is appropriate as it attained high precision,recall,F-measure,and accuracy values such as 0.985,0.993,0.988,and 0.989 respectively.

Tall Buildings with Dynamic Facade Under Winds

Burgeoning growth of tall buildings in urban areas around the world is placing new demands on their performance under *** involves selection of the building form that minimizes wind loads and structural topologies that efficiently transfer *** practice is to search for optimal shapes,but this limits buildings with static or fixed *** shape tailoring that consists of modifying the external form of the building has shown great promise in reducing wind loads and associated structural motions as reflected in the design of Taipei 101 and Burj *** these buildings,corner modifications of the cross-section and tapering along the height are *** appealing alternative is to design a building that can adapt its form to the changing complex wind environment in urban areas with clusters of tall buildings,i.e.,by implementing a dynamic *** leap beyond the static shape optimization,autonomous dynamic morphing of the building shape is advanced in this study,which is implemented through a cyber–physical system that fuses together sensing,computing,actuating,and engineering *** approach will permit a building to intelligently morph its profile to minimize the source of dynamic wind load excitation,and holds the promise of revolutionizing tall buildings from conventional static to dynamic facades by taking advantage of the burgeoning advances in computational design.

In this research,we used the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation(RUSLE)and Geographical Information System(GIS)to predict the annual rate of soil loss in the District Chakwal of *** parameters of the RUSLE model were estimated using remote sensing data,and the erosion probability zones were determined using *** estimated length slope(LS),crop management(C),rainfall erosivity(R),soil erodibility(K),and support practice(P)range from 0-68,227,0-66.61%,0-0.58,495.99-648.68 MJ/***^(-1).year^(-1),0.15-0.25 MJ/***^(-1).year^(-1),and 1 *** results indicate that the estimated total annual potential soi loss of approximately 4,67,064.25 ***^(-1).year^(-1) is comparable with the measured'sediment ioss of 11,631 ***^(-1).year^(-1) during the water year *** predicted soil erosion rate due to an increase in agricultural area is approximately 164,249.31 ***^(-1).year^(-1).In this study,we also used,Landsat imagery to rapidly achieve actual land use ***,38.i3%of the region was threatened by very high soil erosion,where the quantity of soil erosion ranged from 365487.35 ***^(-1).year^(-1),Integrating GIS and remote sensing with the RUSLE model helped researchers achieve their final ***-use planners and decision-makers use the result's spatial distribution of soil erosion in District Chakwal for conservation and management planning.

Can Strategies to Cope with Hazard Shocks be Explained by At-Risk Households' Socioeconomic Asset Profile? Evidence from Tropical Cyclon-Prone Coastal Bangladesh

This article documents the results of an empirical investigation on the complex interplay between diverse coping mechanisms and the socioeconomic asset profiles of coastal households at risk. Focusing on household-level perceptions and responses to cyclone hazards, a case study was carried out in a poor area in Bangladesh that is prone to natural hazards. We developed and tested our own analytical models based on the asset approach. We conducted a face-to-face household survey in southwestern coastal Bangladesh, in the Koyra sub-district, in late *** asked 360 households affected by the May 2009 tropical Cyclone Aila about their hazard perceptions, preparedness, coping practices, and socioeconomic assets. The results suggest that the majority of households at risk perceive an increasing trend of different climate hazards,with a distinct dominance of tropical cyclones, storm surges, and flash floods in the study area, which resulted in a yearly average economic damage of USD 144 for each household in the first year after Aila. However, such damage is significantly and inversely correlated with the number of adopted coping practices. Significant and systematic differences exist between upstream and downstream households in the study area with respect to hazard perception, hazard induced damages, asset accessibility,and adopted diversified coping practices. The empirical findings suggest that the degree of adoption of coping practices depends primarily on elements of socioeconomic asset profile and the duration of the consequences of cyclone hazards. Disaster preparedness training seems to improve at-risk households' degree of information access and eventually leads them to adopt more coping practices to reduce adverse impacts of climate hazards. Area-specific practical modules on coping practices should be incorporated in curricula of disaster preparedness training to make people at risk more resilient to hazard shocks.

玉米南方锈病是由多堆柄锈菌（Puccinia polysora Underw.）引起的真菌性气传病害,在世界各地的热带和亚热带地区均有发生。近几年,随着全球气候的变化,玉米南方锈病在我国海南省三亚市的发生日趋严重。据统计,自2013年至2016年间,三亚南繁基地的玉米种植面积持续增加,从368.2 hm增至729.3 hm,而玉米南方锈病的发生面积也相应地从玉米种植总面积的60%增至70%,严重威胁南繁玉米的制种、育种质量以及生产安全。针对南繁基地不同玉米品种上玉米南方锈病的发生情况调查,了解南繁基地玉米南方锈病发展流行规律,可为建立玉米南方锈病绿色防控体系提供依据。为此,本调查针对中国农业大学南繁基地调查玉米南方锈病病情指数,共36个玉米田块,涉及ZD958、金百甜15、先玉335这3种玉米品种。调查方法采用五点取样法,即每个田块选取5个1m×1m的正方形小块,每个小方块调查5株。调查结果显示,2024年3月初中国农业大学南繁基地ZD958的病情指数为10.74,3月中旬发展为25.58;3月初金百甜15的病情指数为15.62,3月中旬发展为24.11;先玉335的病情指数为12.04,3月中旬发展为16.96。其中先玉335的病情指数最低。在0.05的置信水平下,3月中旬的先玉335的病情指数与ZD958及金百甜15有显著差异,ZD958及金百甜15之间无明显差异。据此结果推测,在这3种品种中,先玉335对玉米南方锈病的抗性水平较高。

Big Data Analytics in Telecommunications: Literature Review and Architecture Recommendations

This paper focuses on facilitating state-of-the-art applications of big data analytics(BDA) architectures and infrastructures to telecommunications(telecom) industrial *** companies are dealing with terabytes to petabytes of data on a daily basis. Io T applications in telecom are further contributing to this data deluge. Recent advances in BDA have exposed new opportunities to get actionable insights from telecom big data. These benefits and the fast-changing BDA technology landscape make it important to investigate existing BDA applications to telecom sector. For this, we initially determine published research on BDA applications to telecom through a systematic literature review through which we filter 38 articles and categorize them in frameworks, use cases, literature reviews, white papers and experimental validations. We also discuss the benefits and challenges mentioned in these articles. We find that experiments are all proof of concepts(POC) on a severely limited BDA technology stack(as compared to the available technology stack), i.e.,we did not find any work focusing on full-fledged BDA implementation in an operational telecom environment. To facilitate these applications at research-level, we propose a state-of-the-art lambda architecture for BDA pipeline implementation(called Lambda Tel) based completely on open source BDA technologies and the standard Python language, along with relevant *** discovered only one research paper which presented a relatively-limited lambda architecture using the proprietary AWS cloud infrastructure. We believe Lambda Tel presents a clear roadmap for telecom industry practitioners to implement and enhance BDA applications in their enterprises.
