Biopolymers are promising environmentally benign materials applicable in multifarious *** are especially favorable in implantable biomedical devices thanks to their excellent unique properties,including bioactivity,renewability,bioresorbability,biocompatibility,biodegradability and *** manufacturing(AM)is a flexible and intricate manufacturing technology,which is widely used to fabricate biopolymer-based customized products and structures for advanced healthcare ***-dimensional(3D)printing of these sustainable materials is applied in functional clinical settings including wound dressing,drug delivery systems,medical implants and tissue *** present review highlights recent advancements in different types of biopolymers,such as proteins and polysaccharides,which are employed to develop different biomedical products by using extrusion,vat polymerization,laser and inkjet 3D printing techniques in addition to normal bioprinting and four-dimensional(4D)bioprinting *** also incorporates the influence of nanoparticles on the biological and mechanical performances of 3D-printed tissue scaffolds,and addresses current challenges as well as future developments of environmentally friendly polymeric materials manufactured through the ***,there is a need for more focused research on the adequate blending of these biodegradable biopolymers for achieving useful results in targeted biomedical *** envision that biopolymer-based 3D-printed composites have the potential to revolutionize the biomedical sector in the near future.

Dear Editor, Fluoroquinolones (e.g., ciprofloxacin (CIP), enrofloxacin (ENR), and levofloxacin (LEV)) are an extensively used family of antibiotics prescribed for various infections;however, they are also increasingly used to promote livestock growth. After oral administTation, much of the parent compound is excreted via urine and feces and can enter the environment at a high concentration. These antibiotics are only partially removed in wastewater treatment plants and become a part of the environment through irrigation practices.

Prediction of promiscuous T-cell epitopes in the Zika virus polyprotein:An in silico approach

Objective:To predict immunogenic promiscuous T-cell epitopes from the polyprotein of the Zika virus using a range of bioinformatics *** date,no epitope data are available for the Zika virus in the IEDB ***:We retrieved nearly 54 full length polyprotein sequences of the Zika virus from the NCBI database belonging to different outbreaks.A consensus sequence was then used to predict the promiscuous T cell epitopes that bind MHC 1 and MHC II alleles using Propred1 and Propred immunoinformatic algorithms *** antigencity predicted score was also calculated for each predicted epitope using the Vaxi Jen 2.0 ***:By using Pro Pred1,23 antigenic epitopes for HLA class I and 48 antigenic epitopes for HLA class II were predicted from the consensus polyprotein sequence of Zika *** greatest number of MHC class I binding epitopes were projected within the NS5(21%),followed by Envelope(17%).For MHC class II,greatest number of predicted epitopes were in NS5(19%) followed by the Envelope,NS1 and NS2(17% each).A variety of epitopes with good binding affinity,promiscuity and antigenicity were predicted for both the HLA ***:The predicted conserved promiscuous T-cell epitopes examined in this study were reported for the first time and will contribute to the imminent design of Zika virus vaccine candidates,which will be able to induce a broad range of immune responses in a heterogeneous HLA ***,our results can be verified and employed in future efficacious vaccine formulations only after successful experimental studies.

NS1 antigen: A new beam of light in the early diagnosis of dengue infection

Objective: To evaluate NS1 antigen detection ELISA for the early laboratory diagnosis of dengue virus infection. Methods: The present study was conducted to evaluate the overall positivity of NS1 antigen detection ELISA and its comparison with viral RNA detection via real time PCR and Ig M antibodies detection by ELISA. Results: A total of 1 270 serum samples were tested 86%(1 097/1 270) were detected positive by one or more than one diagnostic test. Out of 1 270, 64%(807/1 270) were positive by NS1 ELISA and 52%(662/1 270), 51%(646/1 270) were positive by real-time RT-PCR and Ig M ELISA ***: NS1 antigen detection ELISA is highly suitable diagnostic tools and it also has great value for use in outbreak and epidemic situation.

Magnetically treated water irrigation effect on turnip seed germination,seedling growth and enzymatic activities

Pre-sowing magnetic field seed treatment effects on biological characteristics of vegetables and crops have been studied ***,studies reporting irrigation with magnetically treated water are ***,the effect of irrigation with magnetically treated water on turnip seed germination,seedling growth and enzymatic activities was *** tap water was treated at 211 mT for 30,45 and 60 min and used for irrigation of turnip seed and *** and healthy turnip seed was sown under randomized complete block design(RCBD).The germination,emergence rate index,vigor index I and vigor index II increased up to 28.33%,11.54%,57.59%and 32.26%,*** growth parameters such as seedling lengths,fresh&dry weights,chlorophyll content were also enhanced in response of irrigation with magnetically treated *** seedlings irrigated with magnetically treated water showed 28.92%,11.36%and 14.76%higher protein content,alpha amylase and protease activities,respectively vs *** revealed that irrigation with magnetically treated water has potential to improve turnip germination,seedling growth and enzymatic activities and this study is also extendable to other vegetables and crops for the improvement of germination and growth.

Real-time and accurate queue length information is very imperative in evaluating the performance and to develop adequate queue management systems,especially under the congested condition in an advanced traffic control *** intelligent mobility technologies such as automatic number plate recognition systems and automatic vehicle identification systems for queue length estimation,have received tremendous attention due to their active deployments in recent years.A machine learning algorithm based real-time dynamic queue length estimation was proposed using the GPS and license plate recognition（LPR）*** to the former shock-fitting methods,the proposed method is fully data-driven,robust,and no need for any prior knowledge or assumptions about the shockwave *** this research project,the stop locations of vehicles and 18 representative features of traffic flow characteristics around the vehicles were extracted from GPS and LPR data respectively for the training of the machine learning algorithm *** that,a feature selection has been carried out through extracted features with the help of different feature selection techniques to remove irrelevant or redundant features,which could be harmful or at least have no contribution to the accuracy of the *** on the best-selected features,a Random Forest and Support Vector Regression model had been trained,and then a trained model was used to predict the stop locations of vehicles using the LPR data as *** cyclic lane-based maximum dynamic queue lengths were estimated based on the predicted stop *** proposed method was implemented for thirty-nine lanes in Kunshan city,P.R *** findings and conclusion include:（1）By the feature selection process,the travel time in control delay feature categories had the most significant impacts on the prediction accuracy of the Random Forests *** travel time of the leading vehicle as well as travel time of the labeled vehicle was stro

Objective:To High light some epidemiological,clinical and diagnostic features of dengue fever during an outbreak and the role of different diagnostic techniques to achieve the highest level of accuracy in ***:Blood samples(n=323) were collected along with epidemiological and clinical data from suspected dengue patients who visited different hospitals in Swat and Mansehra district of Pakistan between May-November 2013 during a dengue *** were tested for the detection of viral nucleic acid by real-lime *** structural protein-1(NS1antigen and IgM antibodies by ***:Out of 323 cases with clinical dengue infection,304 were positive by one or more diagnostic parameter:201 samples were positive by real-time PCR,209 were positive by NS1 ELISA and 190 were positive by IgM *** of real-time PCR and NS1 *** were comparable for early diagnosis of dengue virus *** antibody detection assay was found useful for the diagnosis in the samples collected later than day 5 of ***:The use of real-lime PCR or detection of non stnictural protein NS 1 by ELISA followed by IgM antibodies detection can be recommended for early diagnosis of dengue virus infection with a high level of accuracy.

海岸线是海域及陆地变化研究的重要参考依据,因此,海岸线自动提取与变化分析具有重要的研究意义。随着近海和陆上地区经济的快速发展,海岸水产养殖、盐田、港口、海堤和盐沼的面积不断增加,需要有效的从遥感影像中提取海岸线特征,以便于监测和管理广阔的沿海岸线。由于不同的海岸(如粉质、沙质、基岩、生物海岸和人工海岸线)具有不同的属性特征,且海岸的类型与岸线范围在不断发生变化,海岸线的自动提取与更新成为亟需解决的问题。本论文以山东青岛地区海岸线为例,主要研究内容包括以下两个方面:(1)青岛海岸线自动提取。我们根据沿海岸线的特征,环境和动态变化,快速准确地提取和监测青岛海岸线的变化情况。我们收集了2000、2010和2019年ETM+和OLI遥感数据,利用RS和GIS技术研究了过去19年的海岸线的特征和时空变化特征。本文使用了三种统计方法用于测量海岸线变化:其中海岸线端点速率、净海岸线运动和线性回归速率,分别达到的最高速度为266.07m/yr,2391.85m和124.47m/yr。端点速率、净海岸线运动和线性回归速率的最大累积量分别为-142.55m/yr,-1234.59m和-63.22m/yr。对于海岸线的提取,我们应用三种不同的方法,最合适的方法是canny edge算法,该方法可以生成更准确的结果。我们将该方法与其他通用边缘检测算法(例如Prewitt,Sobel,Robert,基于阈值的边缘检测方法,基于区域增长的边缘检测方法)进行了比较,发现我们的方法在准确识别海岸线方面优于他们。(2)青岛海岸线的变化分析。结果表明,在过去的二十年中,青岛海岸线的长度持续增加,总共增加了18.14 km。但不同的天然和人工海岸线发生了重大变化,人为造成的海岸线恶化逐渐从2000年的53.63%大幅增加到2019年的68.40%,而天然海岸线的长度已大大减少。青岛海岸线地貌丰富,既有基岩、盐田、海堤,也有水产养殖、沙滩、淤泥质、港口、建筑物、河口等地貌特征。高海拔和高角度基岩往往是沉积物的来源,是沉积物沉积的主要贡献者。海岸线发生明显变化的区域集中在胶州湾地区,且在青岛海岸的西部和东部发生了重大变化,由于自然和人为因素的综合影响,海岸线已大大扩展了向海一侧的范围。沿海演变的主要因素是沿海工程建设,此外,沿海演变的因素还包括其他三大建设活动:水产养殖池塘、盐田和港口建筑的修复。触发海岸线变化的驱动力显示出明显的时间异质性。因此,本研究介绍了沿海地区的监测过程,并利用地理空间技术分析了海岸线变化,这将对青岛沿海地区的沿海地区规划和管理具有重大的实用价值。

Genetic Variation among Seedling of Pumpkins Genotypes through SDS-Page

Genetic diversity in 30 genotypes of Pumpkins was collected from unexplored mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan was investigated through biochemical characterization. For biochemical characterization, Sodium Dodecyl Sulphate Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis was carried out. The seed proteins were resolved on 7.5% and 15% polyacrylamide gel. A total of 35% genetic disagreement was observed in the collected lines with linkage distances ranging from 0.00 - 0.83 (percent disagreement). Similarly, cluster analysis sorted total germplasm on the basis of 12 bands (total bands) into eight clusters. Present study revealed a considerable amount of genetic diversity explored in pumpkin germplasm, Cluster analysis exhibited moderate level of genetic diversity;to broaden the gene pool. Further collection of the important germplasm is needed to be used in the development of improved cultivars with respect to quality and quantity.

Molecular study of HCV detection,genotypes and their routes of transmission in North West Frontier Province,Pakistan

Objective:To determine hepatitis C virus(HCV) genotypes and explore the associated risk factors in chronic HCY ***:A total of 116 patients with chronic hepatitis C were subjected to polymerase chain reaction(PCR) based detection out of which 112 chronic HCV patients[53 male(47.32%),59 female(52.68%);mean age(43.76±16.40) years;mean BMI(23.8± 3.9)kg]were enrolled in this *** frequency of 6 HCV genotypes and associated risk factors were evaluated from five districts of North West Frontier Province(NWFP).Results:Genotype 3was the most prevalent in 73 samples(65.17%) followed by genotype 1 in 24(21.42%) and genotype2 in 13(11.60%) ***3 had significantly high prevalence(P=0.0002).The results showed that 48(42.85%) samples were infected with HCV 3a:25(22.32%) with 3b;14(12.50%) with 1a;10(8.92%)with 1b;11(9.82%) with 2a;2(1.78%) with 2b;and 2 were *** distribution of HCV genotypes in ***,*** and Nowshehra districts was *** of unsterile equipment lor medication,barbers and previous history of hospitalization were the main risk factors for HCV ***:Cenotype 3a and 3b.1a.1b and 2a are the common genotypes in *** *** 6 can not be found in a single *** level of awareness about various modes ot transmission of HCV among the population is found to be verv low.
