Hybrid systems such as Cyber Physical System(CPS)are becoming increasingly popular,mainly due to the involvement of information technology in different aspects of *** analysis and verification of hybrid system models,simulation is used *** parts of a common hybrid system may belong to different domains of study,it is sometimes beneficial to use specialized simulation packages(SPs)for each *** this case,parts of a system are simulated in different *** idea may seem simple,but coupling more than one simulation component presents challenges related to numerical *** presented article suggests an implicit solver coupling technique enhanced to facilitate simulation of hybrid models using multiple simulation *** technique is developed using two of the most popular simulation interoperability standards,namely,the High Level Architecture and the Functional Mock-up *** using these standards,the developed algorithm will be useful for a large number of practitioners and *** developed algorithm is described using a generic distributed computation model,which makes it reproducible even without using the *** the verification of results,the algorithm is tested on two case *** results are compared to a monolithic simulator and the proximity of results initiates the validity of the developed algorithm.

Dengue fever is one of the major health problems in tropical and subtropical areas throughout the world. The causative agent of dengue fever is the dengue virus which is an enveloped single stranded RNA virus belongs to the family Flaviviridae and has five distinct serotypes(DENV-1,DENV-2, DENV-3, DENV-4 and DENV-5). Dengue virus is transmitted to human via bite of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. The clinical symptoms of dengue fever ranging from mild to severe form as dengue hemorrhagic fever and dengue shock syndrome. Pakistan is dengue endemic since 1994 but from 2006, Pakistan faced the worst condition regarding dengue in which thousands of people affected by the disease and hundreds of people lost their lives. DENV-2, DENV-3 and DENV-1 are the prevalent serotypes in Pakistan. Common diagnostic techniques are being used in Pakistan such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,polymerase chain reaction and rapid diagnostic tests, while differential diagnosis, limitations of diagnostic methods and poor health care system are the real challenges in dengue *** climatic conditions, unplanned urbanization, travelling etc., are major factors responsible for dengue epidemics in Pakistan. This presentation provides update about dengue circumstances in Pakistan and also describes the way how to improve dengue situation in Pakistan.

Acral melanoma(AM)is a rare and lethal type of skin *** can be diagnosed by expert dermatologists,using dermoscopic *** is challenging for dermatologists to diagnose melanoma because of the very minor differences between melanoma and non-melanoma *** of the research on skin cancer diagnosis is related to the binary classification of lesions into melanoma and ***,to date,limited research has been conducted on the classification of melanoma *** current study investigated the effectiveness of dermoscopy and deep learning in classifying melanoma subtypes,such as,*** this study,we present a novel deep learning model,developed to classify skin *** utilized a dermoscopic image dataset from the Yonsei University Health System South Korea for the classification of skin *** image processing and data augmentation techniques have been applied to develop a robust automated system for AM *** custombuilt model is a seven-layered deep convolutional network that was trained from ***,transfer learning was utilized to compare the performance of our model,where AlexNet and ResNet-18 were modified,fine-tuned,and trained on the same *** achieved improved results from our proposed model with an accuracy of more than 90%for AM and benign nevus,***,using the transfer learning approach,we achieved an average accuracy of nearly 97%,which is comparable to that of state-of-the-art *** our analysis and results,we found that our model performed well and was able to effectively classify skin *** results show that the proposed system can be used by dermatologists in the clinical decision-making process for the early diagnosis of AM.

Immunization is a noteworthy and proven tool for eliminating lifethreating infectious diseases,child mortality and *** Program on Immunization(EPI)is a nation-wide program in Pakistan to implement immunization activities,however the coverage is quite low despite the accessibility of free *** study proposes a defaulter prediction model for accurate identification of *** proposed framework classifies defaulters at five different stages:defaulter,partially high,partially medium,partially low,and unvaccinated to reinforce targeted interventions by accurately predicting children at high risk of defaulting from the immunization *** machine learning algorithms are applied on Pakistan Demographic and Health Survey(2017–18)*** Perceptron yielded 98.5%accuracy for correctly identifying children who are likely to default from immunization series at different risk stages of being *** this paper,the proposed defaulters’prediction framework is a step forward towards a data-driven approach and provides a set of machine learning techniques to take advantage of predictive ***,predictive analytics can reinforce immunization programs by expediting targeted action to reduce ***,the accurate predictions support targeted messages sent to at-risk parents’and caretakers’consumer devices(e.g.,smartphones)to maximize healthcare outcomes.

The actuaries always look for heavy-tailed distributions to model data relevant to business and actuarial risk *** this article,we introduce a new class of heavy-tailed distributions useful for modeling data in financial sciences.A specific sub-model form of our suggested family,named as a new extended heavy-tailed Weibull distribution is examined in *** basic characterizations,including quantile function and raw moments have been *** estimates of the unknown parameters of the new model are obtained via the maximum likelihood estimation *** judge the performance of the maximum likelihood estimators,a simulation analysis is performed in ***,some important actuarial measures such as value at risk and tail value at risk are also computed.A simulation study based on these actuarial measures is conducted to exhibit empirically that the proposed model is *** usefulness of the proposed family is illustrated by means of an application to a heavy-tailed insurance loss data *** practical application shows that the proposed model is more flexible and efficient than the other six competing models including(i)the two-parameter models Weibull,Lomax and Burr-XII distributions(ii)the three-parameter distributions Marshall-Olkin Weibull and exponentiated Weibull distributions,and(iii)a well-known four-parameter Kumaraswamy Weibull distribution.

In cipher algorithms,the encryption and decryption are based on the same *** are some limitations in cipher algorithms,for example in polyalphabetic substitution cipher the key size must be equal to plaintext otherwise it will be repeated and if the key is known then encryption becomes *** paper aims to improve the said limitations by designing of Triple key security algorithm(TKS)in which the key is modified on polyalphabetic substitution cipher to maintain the size of the key and *** plaintext character is substituted by an alternative *** mode of substitution is transformed cyclically which depends on the current position of the modified *** keys are used in the encryption and decryption process on 8 or 16 rounds with the Exclusively-OR(XOR)of the 1st *** study also identifies a single-key attack on multiple rounds block cipher in mobile communications and applied the proposed technique to prevent the *** utilization of the TKS algorithm,the decryption is illustrated,and security is analyzed in detail with mathematical examples.
