Vision based intelligent traffic light management system using Faster R‐CNN

Transportation systems primarily depend on vehicular flow on roads. Developed coun-tries have shifted towards automated signal control, which manages and updates signal synchronisation automatically. In contrast, traffic in underdeveloped countries is mainly governed by manual traffic light systems. These existing manual systems lead to numerous issues, wasting substantial resources such as time, energy, and fuel, as they cannot make real‐time decisions. In this work, we propose an algorithm to determine traffic signal durations based on real‐time vehicle density, obtained from live closed circuit television camera feeds adjacent to traffic signals. The algorithm automates the traffic light system, making decisions based on vehicle density and employing Faster R‐CNN for vehicle detection. Additionally, we have created a local dataset from live streams of Punjab Safe City cameras in collaboration with the local police authority. The proposed algorithm achieves a class accuracy of 96.6% and a vehicle detection accuracy of 95.7%. Across both day and night modes, our proposed method maintains an average precision, recall, F1 score, and vehicle detection accuracy of 0.94, 0.98, 0.96 and 0.95, respectively. Our proposed work surpasses all evaluation metrics compared to state‐of‐the‐art methodologies.

This study proposes an architecture for the prediction of extremist human behaviour from projected suicide *** linking‘dots’of police data comprising scattered information of people,groups,logistics,locations,communication,and spatiotemporal characters on different social media groups,the proposed architecture will spawn beneficial *** useful information will,in turn,help the police both in predicting potential terrorist events and in investigating previous ***,this architecture will aid in the identification of criminals and their associates and *** is psychological warfare,which,in the broadest sense,can be defined as the utilisation of deliberate violence for economic,political or religious *** this study,a supervised learning-based approach was adopted to develop the proposed *** dataset was prepared from the suicide bomb blast data of Pakistan obtained from the South Asia Terrorism Portal(SATP).As the proposed architecture was simulated,the supervised learning-based classifiers na飗e Bayes and Hoeffding Tree reached 72.17%*** of the additional benefits this study offers is the ability to predict the target audience of potential suicide bomb blasts,which may be used to eliminate future threats or,at least,minimise the number of casualties and other property losses.

Optimization of gob ventilation boreholes design in longwall mining

Gob ventilation boreholes(GVBs)are widely used for degasification in *** coal *** on geological conditions,30–50%of methane can be recovered from longwall gob using GVBs.A NIOSH funded research at the Colorado School of Mines confirmed that GVBs can efficiently reduce methane at the ***,GVBs can also draw some fresh air from the face and create explosive gas zones(EGZs).Explosive gas mixtures may be formed in gob areas due to the increased ingress of oxygen from *** is critical to identify the locations for GVBs for maximizing extraction of methane and minimizing hazards of *** study analyzes the effect of operating parameters and design of GVB on methane extraction,EGZs formation,and face and tailgate methane *** extraction,formation of EGZs,and concentration of methane in working areas are significantly impacted by various *** factors include the distance of work face and tailgate from GVBs,diameter of GVBs,vacuum pressure of wellhead,GVB distance from the roof of the coal seam,and number of operating GVBs in a *** fluid dynamics(CFD)evaluations suggest optimal design and operating parameters of GVBs that can contribute to maximum benefits with minimum risks.

In this work the structural,electronic and thermoelectric properties of YbMg_(2)X_(2)(X=P,As,Sb,Bi)zintl compounds were investigated comprehensively using first principles *** electronic properties were studied using PBE GGA,TB-mBJ and hybrid(YS-PBE0)*** the structural parameters of optimized structures are in harmonious agreement to the available *** band structure study illustrates that the titled materials manifest metallic and semi metallic nature using PBE and TB-mBJ potentials while they show wide band gap semiconducting behavior by following hybrid(YS-PBE0)*** density of states(TDOS)and partial density of states(PDOS)were also calculated to glimpse the contribution of orbitals of atoms in the formation of *** properties were studied by using BoltzTraP2 code employed to *** get enormous values of Seebeck coefficient(S),power factor(PF)and thermoelectric figure of merit(ZT)for all the samples YbMg_(2)X_(2)(X=P,As,Sb,Bi),Moreover,the overwhelming transport properties for the titled compounds indicate the optimum level of carriers’concentration which pinpoints these materials to be better thermoelectrics in the 1-2-2 zintl family.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is considered the fifth most prevalent cancer among all types of cancers and has the third most morbidity value. It has the most frequent duplication time and a high recurrence rate. Recently, the most unique technique used is liquid biopsies, which carry many markers;the most prominent is circulating tumor DNA(ctDNA). Varied methods are used to investigate ctDNA, including various forms of polymerase chain reaction(PCR) [emulsion PCR(ePCR), digital PCR(dPCR), and bead, emulsion, amplification, magnetic(BEAMing) PCR]. Hence ctDNA is being recognized as a potential biomarker that permits early cancer detection,treatment monitoring, and predictive data on tumor burden are subjective to therapy or surgery. Numerous ctDNA biomarkers have been investigated based on their alterations such as 1) single nucleotide variations(either insertion or deletion of a nucleotide) markers including TP53, KRAS, and CCND1;2) copy number variations which include markers such as CDK6, EFGR, MYC and BRAF;3) DNA methylation(RASSF1A, SEPT9, KMT2C and CCNA2);4) homozygous mutation includes ctDNA markers as CDKN2A, AXIN1;and 5) gain or loss of function of the genes, particularly for HCC. Various researchers have conducted many studies and gotten fruitful ***, there are some drawbacks to ctDNA namely low quantity, fragment heterogeneity, less stability, limited mutant copies and standards, and differential sensitivity. However, plenty of investigations demonstrate ctDNA's significance as a polyvalent biomarker for cancer and can be viewed as a future diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic agent. This article overviews many conditions in genetic changes linked to the onset and development of HCC, such as dysregulated signaling pathways, somatic mutations, single-nucleotide polymorphisms, and genomic instability. Consequences of Rényi entropy on the thermal geometries and Hawking evaporation of topological dyonic dilaton black hole

The thermodynamics of black holes(BHs)has had a profound impact on theoretical physics,providing insight into the nature of gravity,the quantum structure of spacetime and the fundamental laws governing the *** this study,we investigate thermal geometries and Hawking evaporation of the recently proposed topological dyonic dilaton BH in anti-de Sitter(Ad S)*** consider Rényi entropy and obtain the relations for pressure,heat capacity and Gibbs free energy and observe that the Rényi parameter and dilaton field play a vital role in the phase transition and stability of the ***,we use Weinhold,Ruppeiner and Hendi Panahiyah Eslam Momennia models to evaluate the scalar curvature of the BH and find out that the divergence points of the scalar curvature coincides with the zero of specific ***,using Stefan–Boltzmann law,we determine that the BH without a dilaton field evaporates far more quickly compared to the dilaton BH in Ad S space.

为了考察不同炭化温度的稻壳炭对稻壳炭/高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)复合材料性能的影响,利用马弗炉制备了不同炭化温度(200℃,300℃,400℃,500℃,600℃)的稻壳炭,以该稻壳炭为填料,采用注塑成型的方法制备了稻壳炭/HDPE复合材料,并对其性能进行对比分析。傅里叶变换红外光谱与扫描电镜分析表明,600℃炭化温度的稻壳炭的极性最低,孔结构最完善;熔融结晶分析表明,稻壳炭的加入有利于提高HDPE的相对结晶度;力学性能与动态力学热分析表明,600℃炭化温度的稻壳炭/HDPE复合材料的弯曲强度(45.37 MPa)、刚性及弹性最强,但是不同炭化温度的稻壳炭对稻壳炭/HDPE复合材料的拉伸强度影响不大。
