This study was planned to examine the effects of exogenous silicon supply on growth parameters and arsenic accumulation level in rice. The experiment was conducted in the wire house of Saline Agriculture Research Centre, Institute of Soil and Environmental Science, University of Agriculture Faisalabad. The study was comprised of treatments viz: control;(100 μM Arsenic);(200 μM Arsenic);(5 mM Silicon);(5 mM Silicon + 100 μM Arsenic) and (5 mM Silicon + 200 μM Arsenic). Results revealed that maximum shoot fresh weight, shoot dry weight, root fresh weight and root dry weight were observed in (5 mM Si) solution. In the same way, maximum number of tillers was also recorded in (5 mM Si) solution;while silicon application failed to alleviate arsenic concentration of rice genotype.

Previous research on wet scrubbers has only studied highly acidic scrubbing solutions because of their high ammonia capture efficiencies; however, the high acidity created practical problems. Lower acidity solutions would reduce corrosion, maintenance, and cost; however, designers may need to use strategies for increasing scrubber effectiveness, such as using lower air velocities. The objective of this studywas to determine if a spray scrubber with slightly acidic and higher p H scrubbing solution （pH from 2 to 8） could effectively remove NH3 from NH3 laden air （such as animal building exhaust air）, and also collect this valuable resource for rater use as a fertilizer. A bench-scale spray wet scrubber treated 20 ppmv NH3/air mixture in a countercurrent contact chamber. First, the solution pH was varied from 2 to 8while maintaining constant air velocity at 1.3 m. s-1. Next, air velocity was increased （2and 3 m.s-1） while solution pH remained constant at pH6. At 1.3 m.s -1, NH3 removal efficiencies ranged between 49.0% （pH8） and 84.3% （pH2）. This study has shown that slightly acidic scrubbing solutions are a practical means of removing ammonia from air especially if the scrubber is designed to increase collisions between solution droplets and NH3 molecules. The NH3 removed from the air was held in solution as NH4＋ and accumulates over time so the solution should be an excellent fertilizer.

The nutritional value of perishable food items,such as fruits and vegetables,depends on their freshness *** existing approaches solve a binary class problem by classifying a known fruit\vegetable class into fresh or rotten *** propose an automated fruits and vegetables categorization approach that first recognizes the class of object in an image and then categorizes that fruit or vegetable into one of the three categories:purefresh,medium-fresh,and *** gathered a dataset comprising of 60K images of 11 fruits and vegetables,each is further divided into three categories of freshness,using hand-held *** recognition and categorization of fruits and vegetables are performed through two deep learning models:Visual Geometry Group(VGG-16)and You Only Look Once(YOLO),and their results are ***-16 classifies fruits and vegetables and categorizes their freshness,while YOLO also localizes them within the ***,we have developed an android based application that takes the image of the fruit or vegetable as input and returns its class label and its freshness degree.A comprehensive experimental evaluation of proposed approach demonstrates that the proposed approach can achieve a high accuracy and F1score on gathered FruitVeg Freshness *** dataset is publicly available for further evaluation by the research community.

Metal Extraction Process for High Grade Stibnite of Kharan (Balochistan Pakistan)

A rapid and simple process has been developed for the recovery of antimony metal from stibnite ore of Kharan area (Balochistan) of Pakistan. The ore was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique and found to contain 66% stibnite i.e. antimony sulfide (Sb2S3). The process parameters for the extraction of antimony were optimized on laboratory scale by varying reaction temperature from 900℃ - 1000℃, reaction time from 20 - 80 minutes and flux concentration was varied from 5 - 25 weight percent of the reaction mixture. The metal thus recovered with optimum conditions was evaluated by X-ray fluorescence (XRF) technique and was found to be more than 94% pure. The recovery yield calculated on the basis of stibnite present in the ore was 98.52%.

The security assurance of computer-based systems that rely on safety and security assurance, such as consistency, durability, efficiency and accessibility, require or need resources. This targets the System-of-Systems (SoS) problems with the exception of difficulties and concerns that apply similarly to subsystem interactions on a single system and system-as-component interactions on a large information system. This research addresses security and information assurance for safety-critical systems, where security and safety are addressed before going to actual implementation/development phase for component-based systems. For this purpose, require a conceptual idea or strategy that deals with the application logic security assurance issues. This may explore the vulnerability in single component or a reuse of specification in existing logic in component-based system. Keeping in view this situation, we have defined seven concepts of security assurance and security assurance design strategy for safety-critical systems.
