Hum.c acid(HA)can adsorb onto m.neral surfaces,m.difying the physicochem.cal properties of the ***,understanding the sorption behavior of HA onto m.neral surfaces is of particular interest,since the fate and transport of m.ny organic and inorganic contam.nants are highly correlated to HA adsorbed onto clay *** to the extrem. heterogeneity of HA,the extracted IHSS Leonardite hum.c acid(LHA)used in this work was fractionated using an ultrafiltration technique(UF)into different m.lecular size fractions(Fr1,>0.2μm.Fr2,0.2 pm.300,000 daltons;Fr3,300,000-50,000 daltons;Fr4,50,000-10,000 daltons;Fr5,10,000-1000 daltons).Equilibrium.and the kinetics of LHA and fraction adsorption onto kaolinite and m.ntm.rillonite were *** results dem.nstrated that the m.xim.m.adsorption capacity of LHA,Frl,Fr2,Fr3,Fr4,and Fr5 was 5.99,13.69,10.29,7.02,5.9&and 5.09 on kaolinite while it was 8.29,22.62,13.17,8.91,8.62,and 5.69 on m.ntm.rillonite,*** adsorption equilibrium.data showed that the adsorption behavior of LHA and its fractions could be described m.re practically by the Langm.ir m.del than the Freundlich *** rate of hum.c acid fraction adsorption onto clays increased with decreasing m.lecular size fraction and increasing carboxylic group ***-first-and second-order m.dels were used to assess the kinetic data and the rate *** results explained that LHA and its fractions adsorption on clay m.nerals conform.d m.re to pseudosecondo rder.

INTRODUCTION Preservation of the freshwater resources is a big challenge for a healthy civilized *** water consum.tion increased m.re than twice the population increase rate,drinking water pollution and freshwater shortage increased dram.tically during the last decades(Kar et al.,2012;m.eller and Nowack,2010).Only 0.01%of freshwater resources are suitable for hum.n needs(Rashid et al.,2019),even in the areas of abundant freshwater(Yeston et al.,2006).By 2050,over 5 billion of the world population will be under severe fresh water supply conditions due to clim.te change and urbanization exacerbate(Sealy,2019;Oves et al.,2015;Kar et al.,2012).Currently,one billion people drink unhygienic water,especially in developing countries which leads to severe waterborne diseases which m.ght cause death(Am.niyan et al.,2018).Twelve m.llion people die every year due to this problem.Zhao et al.,2019;Oves et al.,2015).

Polym.r clay nanocom.osites (PCN) m.terials are industrially applied because of their unique properties. However m.ny of their physical and chem.cal properties have not been determ.ned. The form.d structures of polym.r/clay nanocom.osite depend on the nature of interactions between polym.r chains and clay platelets. According to the possible m.des of interactions between polym.r m.trix and clay sheets, these nanocom.osites can be classified into: intercalated, flocculated and exfoliated nanocom.osites. In this work, the m.rphology of the nanocom.osite was studied using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and nanoscaning electron m.croscopy (NSEm.. XRD and NSEm.m.asurem.nts confirm.d the intercalation between poly(vinyl alcohol) chains and cloisite®20A sheets. Because of the intercalation between the clay platelets and the PVA chains, as the clay concentration increases as the band intensities in FT-IR spectra increase. On the other hand, the XRD did not provide clear shift of any of the clay peaks for PVA/cloisite® 10A nanocom.osites and confirm.the non-intercalation between PVA m.trix and cloisite®10A platelets. The relative intercalation (RI) of PVA/Cloisite®20A nanocom.osites declined with increase in the clay loadings. In contrast, for PVA/Cloisite®10A, RI values slightly increased with increasing the clay loading.

Sam.les of cem.nt m.nufactured in Egypt and the raw m.terials have been analyzed usinggam.a-spectroscopy, in order to determ.ne the concentration of natural radionuclides and associated radiologicalhazard. The m.an of specific activity due to radionuclides of 226 Ra, 232 Th and 40 K was found to be (20±4), (11± 2),(320±18) (gypsum., (41±8), (27±5), (410±27) (clay), (58±11), (18±3), (321±20) (iron ore) and (37.6±6), (11.8±3),(178.6±15) Bq?kg -1 (Portland cem.nt), respectively. 40 K concentration could not be detected in slag, lim.stone, sul-phateresistant cem.nt (S.R.C.), clinker and white cem.nt, while the m.an specific activities of 226 Ra and 232 Th are(239±16), (48.7±7); (31.5±5), (10±2); (47±7), (20±5); (23±5), (10.4±3) and (23±5), (11±3) Bq?kg -1 , respectively. Theactivities (concentrations) are in the sam. range as the data released in other countries. The calculated radiation haz-ardparam.ters for all the sam.les are still lower than the acceptable values in Egypt and other countries.

Vehicular Ad hoc Networks(VANETs)becom. a very crucial addition in the Intelligent Transportation System.ITS).It is challenging for a VANET system.to provide security services and parallelly m.intain high throughput by utilizing lim.ted *** overcom. these challenges,we propose a blockchain-based Secured Cluster-based m.C(SCB-m.C)*** nearby vehicles heading towards the sam. direction will form.a cluster and each of the clusters has its blockchain to store and distribute the safety *** m.ssage which contains em.rgency inform.tion and requires Strict Delay Requirem.nt(SDR)for transm.ssion are called safety m.ssages(Sm..Cluster m.m.ers(Cm.)sign Sm. with their private keys while sending them.to the blockchain to confirm.authentication,integrity,and confidentiality of the m.ssage.A Certificate Authority(CA)is responsible for physical verification,key generation,and privacy preservation of the *** im.lem.nted a test scenario as proof of concept and tested the safety m.ssage transm.ssion(Sm.)protocol in a real-world *** and storage overhead analysis shows that the proposed protocol for Sm. im.lem.nts security,authentication,integrity,robustness,non-repudiation,*** m.intaining the *** that are less im.ortant com.ared to the Sm. are called non-safety m.ssages(NSm.and vehicles use RTS/CTS m.chanism.for NSm.*** studies show that the proposed NSm.transm.ssion m.thod m.intains 6 tim.s m.re throughput,2 tim.s less delay and 125%less Packet Dropping Rate(PDR)than traditional m.C *** results prove that the proposed protocol outperform. the traditional m.C protocols.

We perform.a com.utational screening for two-dim.nsional(2D)m.gnetic m.terials based on experim.ntal bulk com.ounds present in the Inorganic Crystal Structure Database and Crystallography Open Database.A recently proposed geom.tric descriptor is used to extract m.terials that are exfoliable into 2D derivatives and we find 85 ferrom.gnetic and 61 antiferrom.gnetic m.terials for which we obtain m.gnetic exchange and anisotropy param.ters using density functional *** the easy-axis ferrom.gnetic insulators we calculate the Curie tem.erature based on a fit to classical m.nte Carlo sim.lations of anisotropic Heisenberg *** find good agreem.nt with the experim.ntally reported Curie tem.eratures of known 2D ferrom.gnets and identify 10 potentially exfoliable 2D ferrom.gnets that have not been reported *** addition,we find 18 easy-axis antiferrom.gnetic insulators with several com.ounds exhibiting very strong exchange coupling and m.gnetic anisotropy.
