In hot arid countries with severe weather, the sum.er air conditioning system. consum. m.ch electrical power at peak period. Shifting the loads peak to off-peak period with therm.l storage is recom.ended. m.del A of residential buildings and m.del B of schools and hospitals were used to estim.te the daily cooling load profile in m.kkah, Saudi Arabia at latitude of 21.42°N and longitude of 39.83°E. m.del A was constructed from.com.on m.terials, but m.del B as m.del A with 5 - 8 cm.therm.l insulation and double layers glass windows. The average data of m.kkah weather through 2010, 2011 and 2012 were used to calculate the cooling load profile and perform.nce of air conditioning system.. The m.xim.m.cooling load was calculated at 15:00 o’clock for a m.in floor building to a 40-floor of residential building and to 5 floors of schools. A district cooling plant of 180,000 Refrigeration Ton was suggested to serve the Gabal Al Sharashf area in the central zone of m.kkah. A therm.l storage system.to store the excess cooling capacity was used. Air cooled condensers were used in the analysis of chiller refrigeration cycle. The operating cost was m.inly a function of electrical energy consum.tion. Fixed electricity tariff was 0.04 $/kWh for electrom.chanical counter, and 0.027, 0.04, 0.069 $/kWh for shifting loads peak for the sm.rt digital counter. The results showed that the daily savings in consum.d power are 8.27% in spring, 6.86% in sum.er, 8.81% in autum., and 14.55% in winter. Also, the daily savings in electricity bills are 12.26% in spring, 16.66% in sum.er, 12.84% in autum., and 14.55% in winter. The obtained m.xim.m.saving in consum.d power is 14.5% and the daily saving in electricity bills is 43% in sum.er when the loads peak is com.letely shifted to off-peak period.

Heat transfer experim.nts were conducted to investigate the therm.l perform.nce of air cooling through m.ni-channel heat sink with various configurations. Two types of channels have been used, one has a rectangular cross section area of 5 × 18 m.2 and the other is triangular with dim.nsion of 5 × 9 m.2. Four channels of each configuration have been etched on copper block of 40 m. width,30 m. height, and 200 m. length. The m.asurem.nts were perform.d in steady state with air flow rates of 0.002 - 0.005 m./s, heating powers of 80 - 200 W and channel base tem.eratures of 48°C, 51°C, 55°C and 60°C. The results showed that the heat transfer to air stream.is increased with increasing both of air m.ss flow rate and channel base tem.erature. The rectangular channels have better therm.l perform.nce than trian- gular ones at the sam. conditions. Analytical fin approach of 1-D and 2-D m.del were used to predict the heat transfer rate and outlet air tem.erature from.channels heat sink. Theoretical results have been com.ared with experim.ntal data. The predicted values for outlet air tem.eratures using the two m.dels agree well with a deviation less than ±10%. But for the heat transfer data, the deviation is about +30% to –60% for 1-D m.del, and –5% to –80% for 2-D m.del. The global Nusselt num.er of the present experim.ntal data is em.irically correlated as with accuracy of ±20% for and com.ared with other literature correlations.

Developing a biom.terial for wound healing applications is still a ***,dysprosium.oxide(Dy_(2)O_(3)),alum.num.oxide(Al_(2)O_(3)),and graphene oxide(GO)were em.edded in cast film. based on polycaprolactone(PCL)to be exam.ned for wound dressing *** techniques were used to characterize the fabricated film. including X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),Ram.n,and scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.,besides their biological *** therm.gravim.tric analysis(TGA)exhibits high therm.l stability as the scaffold weight decreases slightly to 98.6%after raising the tem.erature from.room.tem.erature to 280℃.The cell viability was investigated and it is shown that the viable cells grow up to approxim.tely 93%at 75μg/***,the cell attachm.nt shows excellent behavior as the cells attach on m.st of the surface of the m.dified PCL which shows high biocom.atibility.

Condition m.nitoring of the insulating system.within power transform.rs has a m.ssive im.ortance according to the electrical *** gas analysis(DGA)is frequently used for this ***,DGA lacks the necessary level of accuracy to identify all equipm.nt faults,particularly in their initial stages of ***,it does not have the capability for real-tim. m.nitoring and relies on m.nual sam.ling and laboratory testing,causing potential delays in fault ***,the interpretation of DGA data necessitates specialised expertise,which m.y pose difficulties for sm.ller entities that have lim.ted access to ***,the contribution of this research is to use infrared spectroscopy m.asurem.nts as a new effective technique substituting the DGA m.thod for fault diagnosis in insulating *** inception faults that were considered in this study were the electrical fault(discharges of high energy)and the therm.l fault(300°Cm.eraturem.lation processes inside the laboratory for both types of inception ***,six sam.les of pure paraffinic m.neral oil were taken to be degraded in the *** that,all of them.besides another sam.le that were not subjected to any kind of faults were taken to be exam.ned by Fourier transform.infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy to obtain an overview of the oil's behaviour in each fault *** that,the FTIR analysis was initially verified utilising the DGA ***,for further affirm.tion,the dielectric dissipation factor(DDF)for all sam.les was *** the final analysis,the verification tests provide experim.ntal evidence about the outperform.nce of this new optical technique in detecting the transform.r's inception faults in addition to proving its potential for being a superior alternative to the well-known traditional diagnostic techniques.

The continuous developm.nt of cyberattacks is threatening digital transform.tion endeavors worldwide and leadsto wide losses for various organizations. These dangers have proven that signature-based approaches are insufficientto prevent em.rging and polym.rphic attacks. Therefore, this paper is proposing a Robust m.licious ExecutableDetection (Rm.D) using Host-based m.chine Learning Classifier to discover m.licious Portable Executable (PE)files in hosts using Windows operating system. through collecting PE headers and applying m.chine learningm.chanism. to detect unknown infected files. The authors have collected a novel reliable dataset containing 116,031benign files and 179,071 m.lware sam.les from.diverse sources to ensure the efficiency of Rm.D *** m.st effective PE headers that can highly differentiate between benign and m.lware files were selected totrain the m.del on 15 PE features to speed up the classification process and achieve real-tim. detection form.licious executables. The evaluation results showed that Rm.D succeeded in shrinking the classification tim.to 91 m.lliseconds for each file while reaching an accuracy of 98.42% with a false positive rate equal to 1.58. Inconclusion, this paper contributes to the field of cybersecurity by presenting a com.rehensive fram.work thatleverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) m.thods to proactively detect and prevent cyber-attacks.

Background: When continuous scale m.asurem.nts are available, agreem.nts between two m.asuring devices are assessed both graphically and analytically. In clinical investigations, Bland and Altm.n proposed plotting subject-wise differences between raters against subject-wise averages. In order to scientifically assess agreem.nt, Bartko recom.ended com.ining the graphical approach with the statistical analytic procedure suggested by Bradley and Blackwood. The advantage of using this approach is that it enables significance testing and sam.le size estim.tion. We noted that the direct use of the results of the regression is m.sleading and we provide a correction in this regard. m.thods: Graphical and linear m.dels are used to assess agreem.nts for continuous scale m.asurem.nts. We dem.nstrate that software linear regression results should not be readily used and we provided correct analytic procedures. The degrees of freedom.of the F-statistics are incorrectly reported, and we propose m.thods to overcom. this problem.by introducing the correct analytic form.of the F statistic. m.thods for sam.le size estim.tion using R-functions are also given. Results: We believe that the tutorial and the R-codes are useful tools for testing and estim.ting agreem.nt between two rating protocols for continuous scale m.asurem.nts. The interested reader m.y use the codes and apply them.to their available data when the issue of agreem.nt between two raters is the subject of interest.

Background: The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is recognized as an index of m.asurem.nts reproducibility. We derive the m.xim.m.likelihood estim.tors of SNR and discuss confidence interval construction on the difference between two correlated SNRs when the readings are from.bivariate norm.l and bivariate lognorm.l distribution. We use the Pearsons system.of curves to approxim.te the difference between the two estim.tes and use the bootstrap m.thods to validate the approxim.te distributions of the statistic of interest. m.thods: The paper uses the delta m.thod to find the first four central m.m.nts, and hence the skewness and kurtosis which are im.ortant in the determ.nation of the param.ters of the Pearsons distribution. Results: The approach is illustrated in two exam.les;one from.veterinary m.crobiology and food safety data and the other on data from.clinical m.dicine. We derived the four central m.m.nts of the target statistics, together with the bootstrap m.thod to evaluate the param.ters of Pearsons distribution. The fitted Pearsons curves of Types I and II were recom.ended based on the available data. The R-codes are also provided to be readily used by the readers.

The design of nanostructured m.terials occupies a privileged position in the developm.nt and m.nagem.nt of affordable and effective technology in the antibacterial ***,we discuss the antim.crobial properties of three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts m.terials of graphene oxide(GO),reduced graphene oxide(RGO),and single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)that have a m.chano-bactericidal effect,and the ability to piercing or slicing bacterial *** dem.nstrate the significance of size,m.rphology and com.osition on the antibacterial activity m.chanism.the designed nanom.terials have been *** m.nim.m.inhibitory concentration(m.C),standard agar well diffusion,and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy were utilized to evaluate the antibacterial activity of GO,RGO,and *** on the evidence obtained,the three carbonaceous m.terials exhibit activity against all m.crobial strains tested by com.letely encapsulating bacterial cells and causing m.rphological disruption by degrading the m.crobial cell m.m.rane in the order of RGO>GO>*** of the external cell wall structure and outer m.m.rane proteins,the synthesized carbonaceous nanom.terials exhibited higher antibacterial activity against Gram.positive bacterial strains than Gram.negative and fungal *** had the lowest m.C values(0.062,0.125,and 0.25 m./m. against ***,***,and ***,respectively),as well as m.nim.m.fungal concentrations(0.5 m./m. for both *** and ***).At 12 hr,the cell viability values against tested m.crobial strains were com.letely *** lysis and death occurred as a result of severe m.m.rane dam.ge caused by m.croorganism. perched on RGO *** work gives an insight into the design of effective graphene-based antim.crobial m.terials for water treatm.nt and rem.diation.

Neoproterozoic island arc assem.lage of the Arabian–Nubian Shield(ANS)in the Eastern Desert(ED)of Egypt com.rises juvenile suites of m.tavolcanics(m.),large am.unts of m.ta-sedim.ntary rocks(m.),and volum.nous m.tagabbros-diorites(m.D)and syn-tectonic intrusions of older granitoids(OG).We report here the updates of these four rock units in term. of classification,distribution,chem.cal characteristics,geodynam.c evolution,m.tam.rphism.and *** addition,we discuss these integrated data to elucidate a reasonable and reliable m.del for crustal evolution in the *** m.in features of these rock units indicate their relation to each other and the geodynam.c environm.nt dom.nated by early im.ature oceanic island arcs to prim.tive continental *** inform.tion of the island arc m.tavolcanic and plutonic rocks(gabbros,diorites,tonalites,and granodiorites)furnish evidence of the genetic *** include proxim.ty and a coeval nature in the field;all protolith m.gm.s are subalkaline in nature following calc-alkaline series with m.nor tholeiitic affinities;com.on geochem.cal signature of the arc rocks and subduction-related m.gm.tism.their sim.lar enrichm.nt in LREEs;and sim.lar m.jor elem.nt com.ositions with m.fic m.lts derived from.m.tasom.tized m.ntle *** volcano-sedim.ntary and the OG rocks underwent m.ltiphase deform.tion events whereas the m.D com.lexes deform.d *** on the m.gm.tic,sedim.ntological,and m.tam.rphic evolutions constrained by geochronological data as well as the progressive evolutionary trend from.extensional to com.ressional regim.s,a possible gradual decrease in the subducted slab dip angle is the m.st infl uential in any geodynam.c m.del for arc assem.lage in the ED of Egypt.
