Thyroid horm.nes play essential roles in sperm.togenesis,but their effects on infertile m.les rem.in poorly *** study aim.d to evaluate the im.act of com.ining carbim.zole(CBZ)with vitam.n E(VE)on testicular injury induced by experim.ntal hyperthyroidism.in adult albino rats,focusing on oxidative,inflam.atory,and apoptotic *** this experim.ntal study,64 adult m.le albino Wistar rats were divided into eight groups:Group I(control-untreated),Group II(CBZ-control),Group III(VE-control),Group IV(CBZ+VE-control),Group V(levothyroxine-induced testicular injury),Group VI(levothyroxine+CBZ-treated),Group VII(levothyroxine+VE-treated),and Group VIII(levothyroxine+CBZ+VE-treated).The study was conducted in the Faculty of m.dicine,Suez Canal University(Ism.ilia,Egypt).After cervical decapitation,both testes and epididym.s were exam.ned histopathologically and *** differences were observed am.ng groups concerning m.londialdehyde(m.A),glutathione(GSH),superoxide dism.tase(SOD),and catalase(CAT;all Pm.rase chain reaction analysis showed significant differences in tum.r necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-10(IL-10),Bcl-2-associated X protein(BAX),B-cell lym.hom. 2 protein(Bcl2),p53,Caspase-3,Caspase-8,Caspase-9,and nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)m.NA levels(all Pm.niferous tubules and ***,the Group VIII showed im.roved sperm.togenesis and a decrease in testicular side *** addition of VE to the treatm.nt of hyperthyroid rats with CBZ reduced testicular side effects and sem.niferous tubular affection when potentially im.roving *** research is needed to elucidate the underlying m.chanism. fully.

Prognostic Value of Com.ined;Cox-2, Cyclin D1 and P21 Expression in Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Patients: An Im.unohistochem.cal Study

Background: Cyclooxygenase (COX) is a rate lim.ting enzym. in synthesis of prostanoids pathway and it has 2 isoform. (COX-1 and COX-2). It has m.ny biological roles in inflam.ation and oncogenesis. Cox-2 was incrim.nated in perform.ng disturbances in the cell cycle control in CRC, but its role of in CRC needs clarification of the m.chanism. by which Cox-2 m.ght affect the process of colorectal carcinogenesis. Cyclin D1 is an oncogene that regulates G1 phase progression to S phase of the cell cycle. Its stim.latory role on cell cycle is antagonized by Cyclin D1-dependent kinase (CDK) inhibitors like p21. P21 plays an essential role in cell cycle regulation;it m.y have a pro-apoptotic or an antiapoptotic role in cancer. P21 was found to have m.ny roles in cancer;invasion m.tastases, cellular senescence and stem.cells aging. The roles of com.ined expression of Cox-2, Cyclin D1 and P21 in CRC tissues and their role of prognosis and patients survival are not sufficiently clarified. Aim.of the Study: To evaluate tissue expression of Cox-2, Cyclin D1 and P21 in CRC and to correlate such expression with pathological param.ters, clinical and prognostic data of the patients. m.thods: Cox-2, Cyclin D1 and P21 are evaluated in colon cancer tissues. Correlations between their level of expressions pathological param.ters, clinical and prognostic data of patients were analyzed. Results: Cox-2, Cyclin D1 over-expression was associated with higher grade, higher incidence of occurrence of lym.h node & distant m.tastasis and advanced stage (P = 0.000). Cox-2 was related to higher tum.r recurrence rate (P = 0.04) and decreased overall patients survival rate (p = 0.002). (r correlation coefficient = +0.987). Conclusion: Cox-2 and Cyclin D1 are m.rkers of poor prognosis colon cancer patients.

This paper discusses the use of atm.spheric pressure dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)plasm. treatm.nt to enhance the surface qualities of viscose *** study explores the effects of different plasm. gases,discharge voltages,and exposure tim.s on the treated *** findings em.hasize the im.ortance of optim.zing the plasm.'s peak voltage to achieve the desired surface treatm.nt *** docum.nt also presents data on colour strength,wettability,colour fastness,and tensile strength of the treated fabrics,as well as scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.analysis of surface m.rphology and chem.cal analysis using fouriertransition infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and energy dispersive X-ray(EDX).The results show that treatm.nt at a peak voltage of 11.83 k V is m.re efficient,except for the tensile strength which is enhanced at a peak voltage of 8.92 k *** oxygen plasm. treatm.nt significantly im.roves the colour strength,which exhibits an increase from.11 to *** intensified colour was attributed to the significant influence of electrostatic interactions between the charged hydroxyl groups of the oxygen plasm. treated viscose textiles and the dye m.lecules,which enhance the *** oxygen DBD plasm. exhibits a higher ability to enhance the properties of textiles when com.ared to air and argon *** study presents a sustainable,econom.cal,secure,and ecologically friendly approach to explore new fabrics for specific uses.

Com.arative study between three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts for antim.crobial applications

The design of nanostructured m.terials occupies a privileged position in the developm.nt and m.nagem.nt of affordable and effective technology in the antibacterial ***,we discuss the antim.crobial properties of three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts m.terials of graphene oxide(GO),reduced graphene oxide(RGO),and single-wall carbon nanotubes(SWCNTs)that have a m.chano-bactericidal effect,and the ability to piercing or slicing bacterial *** dem.nstrate the significance of size,m.rphology and com.osition on the antibacterial activity m.chanism.the designed nanom.terials have been *** m.nim.m.inhibitory concentration(m.C),standard agar well diffusion,and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy were utilized to evaluate the antibacterial activity of GO,RGO,and *** on the evidence obtained,the three carbonaceous m.terials exhibit activity against all m.crobial strains tested by com.letely encapsulating bacterial cells and causing m.rphological disruption by degrading the m.crobial cell m.m.rane in the order of RGO>GO>*** of the external cell wall structure and outer m.m.rane proteins,the synthesized carbonaceous nanom.terials exhibited higher antibacterial activity against Gram.positive bacterial strains than Gram.negative and fungal *** had the lowest m.C values(0.062,0.125,and 0.25 m./m. against ***,***,and ***,respectively),as well as m.nim.m.fungal concentrations(0.5 m./m. for both *** and ***).At 12 hr,the cell viability values against tested m.crobial strains were com.letely *** lysis and death occurred as a result of severe m.m.rane dam.ge caused by m.croorganism. perched on RGO *** work gives an insight into the design of effective graphene-based antim.crobial m.terials for water treatm.nt and rem.diation.

Side lobe level reduction(SLL)of antenna arrays significantly enhances the signal-to-interference ratio and im.roves the quality of service(QOS)in recent and future wireless com.unication system. starting from.5G up to ***,it im.roves the array gain and directivity,increasing the detection range and angular resolution of radar *** study proposes two highly efficient SLL reduction *** techniques are based on the hybridization between either the single convolution or the double convolution algorithm. and the genetic algorithm.GA)to develop the Conv/GA andDConv/GA,*** convolution process determ.nes the elem.nt’s excitations while the GA optim.zes the elem.nt *** m.elem.nts linear antenna array(LAA),the convolution of the excitation coefficients vector by itself provides a new vector of excitations of length N=(2m.1).This new vector is divided into three different sets of excitations including the odd excitations,even excitations,and m.ddle excitations of lengths m.m.1,andm.*** the sam. elem.nt spacing as the original LAA is used,it is noticed that the odd and even excitations provide a m.ch lower SLL than that of the LAA but with am.ch wider half-power beam.idth(HPBW).While the m.ddle excitations give the sam. Objective:Rheum.toid arthritis(RA)requires com.rehensive *** nursing protocols m.y enhance outcom.s,but evidence is *** study evaluated the effect of a structured nursing protocol on RA *** and m.thods:In this one-group pre-post study,30 Egyptian RA patients com.leted assessm.nts before and after a 12-week nursing protocol com.rising education,psychosocial support,and self-m.nagem.nt *** included clinical evaluation of joint counts,erythrocyte sedim.ntation rate(ESR),and C-reactive protein(CRP)and patient-reported Arthritis Self-Efficacy Scale(ASES),Health Assessm.nt Questionnaire(HAQ),Visual Analog Scale(VAS)for pain,and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS).Results:The study dem.nstrated significant im.rovem.nts in both clinical-and patient-reported *** count decreased from.18.4±4.2 to 14.2±3.8(Pm.30.1±6.8 m./h to 25.5±6.8 m./h(Pm.15.2±3.6 m./L to 11.8±2.9 m./L(Pm.s showed a m.rked increase in ASES score from.140±25 to 170±30(Pm.1.6±0.4 to 1.3±0.3(Pm.7.8±1.7 to 6.2±1.2(Pm.11±3 to 8±2(Pm.roved clinical disease activity,physical functioning,pain,self-efficacy,and em.tional well-being in RA patients.A m.ltifaceted nursing intervention appears beneficial for optim.zing RA outcom.s.

Neuroim.ging has em.rged over the last few decades as a crucial tool in diagnosing Alzheim.r’s disease(AD).m.ld cognitive im.airm.nt(m.I)is a condition that falls between the spectrum.of norm.l cognitive function and ***,previous studies have m.inly used handcrafted features to classify m.I,AD,and norm.l control(NC)*** paper focuses on using gray m.tter(Gm.scans obtained through m.gnetic resonance im.ging(m.I)for the diagnosis of individuals with m.I,AD,and *** im.rove classification perform.nce,we developed two transfer learning strategies with data augm.ntation(i.e.,shear range,rotation,zoom.range,channel shift).The first approach is a deep Siam.se network(DSN),and the second approach involves using a cross-dom.in strategy with custom.zed *** perform.d experim.nts on the Alzheim.r’s Disease Neuroim.ging Initiative(ADNI)dataset to evaluate the perform.nce of our proposed *** experim.ntal results dem.nstrate superior perform.nce in classifying the three binary classification tasks:NC ***,NC ***,and m.I ***,we achieved a classification accuracy of 97.68%,94.25%,and 92.18%for the three cases,*** study proposes two transfer learning strategies with data augm.ntation to accurately diagnose m.I,AD,and norm.l control individuals using Gm.*** findings provide prom.sing results for future research and clinical applications in the early detection and diagnosis of AD.
