As chronic antigenic stimulation from infection and autoimmunity is a feature of primary antibody deficiency(PAD),analysis of affected patients could yield insights into T-cell differentiation and explain how environmental exposures modify clinical phenotypes conferred by single-gene ***57 marks dysfunctional T cells that have differentiated after antigenic ***,while circulating CD57^(+)CD4^(+)T cells are normally rare,we found that they are increased in patients with PAD and markedly increased with CTLA4 haploinsufficiency or *** performed single-cell RNA-seq analysis of matched CD57^(+)CD4^(+)T cells from blood and tonsil *** CD57^(+)CD4^(+)T cells(CD4cyt)exhibited a cytotoxic transcriptome similar to that of CD8^(+)effector cells,could kill b cells,and inhibited b-cell ***4 restrained the formation of *** CD57 also marked an abundant subset of follicular helper T cells,which is consistent with their antigen-driven differentiation,this subset had a preexhaustion transcriptomic signature marked by TCF7,TOX,and ID3 expression and constitutive expression of CTLA4 and did not become cytotoxic even after CTLA4 ***,CD57^(+)CD4^(+)T-cell cytotoxicity and exhaustion phenotypes are compartmentalised between blood and germinal ***4 is a key modifier of CD4^(+)T-cell cytotoxicity,and the pathological CD4cyt phenotype is accentuated by infection.

Impact on Soil Organic C and Total Soil N from Cool- and Warm-Season Legumes Used in a Green Manure-Forage Cropping System

Annual forage legumes are important components of livestock production systems in East Texas and the southeastern US. Forage legumes contribute nitrogen (N) to cropping systems through biological N fixation, and their seasonal biomass production can be managed to complement forage grasses. Our research objectives were to evaluate both warm- and cool-season annual forage legumes as green manure for biomass, N content, ability to enhance soil organic carbon (SOC) and soil N, and impact on post season forage grass crops. Nine warm-season forage legumes (WSL) were spring planted and incorporated as green manure in the fall. Forage rye (Secale cereale L.) was planted following the incorporation of WSL treatments. Eight cool-season forage legumes (CSL) were fall planted in previously fallow plots and incorporated as green manure in late spring. Sorghum-sudangrass (Sorghum bicolor x Sorghum bicolor var. sudanense) was planted over all treatments in early summer after forage rye harvest and incorporation of CSL treatments. Sorghum-sudangrass was harvested in June, August and September, and treatments were evaluated for dry matter and N concentration. Soil cores were taken from each plot, split into depths of 0 to 15, 15 to 30 and 30 to 60 cm, and soil C and N were measured using combustion analysis. Nylon mesh bags containing plant samples were buried at 15 cm and used to evaluate decomposition rate of above ground legume biomass, including change in C and N concentrations. Mungbean (Vigna radiata L. [Wilczek]) had the highest shoot biomass yield (6.24 t DM ha-1) and contributed the most total N (167 kg∙ha-1) and total C (3043 kg∙ha-1) of the WSL tested. Decomposition rate of WSL biomass was rapid in the first 10 weeks and very slow afterward. Legume Green Manure and Intercropping for High biomass Sorghum Production

before the advent of cheap, synthetic fertilizers, legumes were commonly used as green manure crops for their ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen (N). A three-year study at Overton, TX examined legume integration into high-biomass sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L.) production systems on a Lilbert loamy fine sand recently cultivated after a fertilized bermudagrass [Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers.] pasture. In this split-split plot design, ‘Dixie’ crimson clover (Trifolium incarnatum L.) and ‘Iron and Clay’ cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) were integrated into a high-biomass sorghum production system to evaluate impacts on N concentration, C concentration, and yield of high-biomass sorghum and their impacts on soil total N and soil organic carbon (SOC). Main plots were split into crimson clover green manure (CLGM) and winter fallow (FALL) followed by three sub-plots split into warm-season crop rotations: cowpea green manure (CPGM), cowpea-sorghum intercrop (CPSR), and sorghum monocrop (SORG). Three N fertilizer treatments (0, 45, 90 kg N∙ha−1) were randomized and applied as sub-sub plots. The CLGM increased (P sorghum biomass yield (16.5 t DM∙ha−1) 28% in year three but had no effect in the first two years. The CPSR treatment reduced sorghum yield up to 62% compared to SORG;whereas CPGM increased sorghum yield 56% and 18% the two years following cowpea incorporation. Rate of N fertilizer had no effect on sorghum biomass yield. Decrease in SOC and soil N over time indicated mineralization of organic N and may explain why no N fertilizer response was observed in sorghum biomass yield. Cowpea showed strong potential as a green manure crop but proved to be too competitive for successful intercropping in high-biomass sorghum production systems.

Design concerns of room and pillar retreat panels

Why do some room and pillar retreat panels encounter abnormal conditions？ What factors deserve the most consideration during the planning and execution phases of mining and what can be done to mitigate those abnormal conditions when they are encountered7 To help answer these questions, and to determine some of the relevant factors influencing the conditions of room and pillar （R ＆ P） retreat min- ing entries, four consecutive R ＆ P retreat panels were evaluated. This evaluation was intended to rein- force the influence of topographic changes, depth of cover, multiple-seam interactions, geological conditions, and mining geometry. This paper details observations were made in four consecutive R ＆ P retreat panels and the data were collected from an instrumentation site during retreat mining. The pri- mary focus was on the differences observed among the four panels and within the panels themselves. The instrumentation study was initially planned to evaluate the interactions between primary and secondary support, but produced rather interesting results relating to the loading encountered under the current mining conditions. In addition to the obse^ation and ｜ll^trumentation, numerical modeling was per- formed to evaluate the stress condi~!ons. both the LaModel 3.0 and Rocscience Phase 2 programs were used to evaluate these four panels, The results of both models indicated a drastic reduction in the vertical stresses experienced in these panels due to the full extraction mining in overlying seams when compared to the full overburden load. both models showed a higher level of stress associated with the outside entries of the panels. These results agree quite well with the observations and instrumentation studies performed at the mine. These efforts provided two overarching conclusions concerning R ＆ P retreat mine planning and execution. A recent study published in Cell by the Millay lab reports on an elegant strategy to expand the repertoire of lentiviral(LV)vectors from being the main delivery tool for ex vivo gene therapy to an in vivo applicable viral vector that specifically transduces skeletal muscle.1 This very significant advance may result in novel therapeutics for patients suffering from various skeletal muscle diseases.

阻燃剂已经存在数千年了,但最近200年才发展出一些新化学结构的阻燃剂。目前使用的阻燃剂主要包括7种类型,它们是卤素基、磷基、膨胀体系、矿物填料、氮基、无机物基、高分子纳米复合体系等。现在,阻燃剂的使用仅仅专注于提供消防,也没有考虑如何延长它们的使用寿命,没有考虑如何处理阻燃剂使用结束后的后处理问题。随着将来对环境保护新要求的提升,以及新型起火原因的出现,现有的几类阻燃剂显然是不够的,必须努力开发新型阻燃剂,例如硅基阻燃剂、过度金属催化作用阻燃剂等。讨论了未来阻燃剂的设计必须考虑的环境保护和新的起火原因等问题,以及与未来新型阻燃剂有关的潜在化学问题。最后提出了在新型阻燃剂研究过程中,减少环境污染、保持防火安全的原则。

Process development for green part printing using binder jetting additive manufacturing

Originally developed decades ago, the binder jetting additive manufacturing （b J-AM） process possesses various advantages compared to other additive manufacturing （AM） technologies such as broad material compat- ibility and technological expandability. However, the adoption of b J-AM has been limited by the lack of knowledge with the fundamental understanding of the process principles and characteristics, as well as the relatively few systematic design guideline that are available. In this work, the process design considerations for b J-AM in green part fabrication were discussed in detail in order to provide a comprehensive perspective of the design for additive manufacturing for the process. Various process factors, including binder saturation, in- process drying, powder spreading, powder feedstock characteristics, binder characteristics and post-process curing, could significantly affect the printing quality of the green parts such as geometrical accuracy and part integrity. For powder feedstock with low flowability, even though process parameters could be optimized to partially offset the printing feasibility issue, the qualities of the green parts will be intrinsically limited due to the existence of large internal voids that are inaccessible to the binder. In addition, during the process development, the balanced combination between the saturation level and in-process drying is of critical importance in the quality control of the green parts.

Model of hybrid interfacial domain wall in ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic bilayers

A general model of a hybrid inteffacial domain wall （HIDW） in ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic exchange biased bilayers is proposed, where an inteffacial domain wall is allowed to extend into either the ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic layer or across both. The proposition is based on our theoretical investigation on thickness and field dependences of ferromagnetic domain wall （FMDW） and antiferromagnetic domain wall （AFDW）, respectively. Good match of the simulation to the hysteresis loops of a series of NiFe/FeMn exchange-biased bilayers confirms the existence of the HIDW, where the AFDW part is found to preferentially occupy the entire antiferromagnetic layer while the FMDW shrinks with the increased magnetic field as expected. The observed asymmetry between the ascending and descending branches of the hysteresis loop is explained naturally as a consequence of different partition ratios between AFDW and FMDW.
